OMG I'm still here. JW Zofran is really expensive so your GP maybe telling you porky pies. The thing is though It's not licensed for use in Hyperemesis in pregnancy, so technically s/he shouldn't prescibe it and may be extra cautious about it. Also all the books I've read only give doses for post chemo emesis, which should only be given for 5 days at a time, so if it continues, then you would be stuck.

Sorry I'm not being much help, but definitely continue three times a day with the maxilon. Sorry can't remember if you've taken cyclizine?

adansatron is fab but possibly unsuitable
maxillon is ok, still vomit but not as much

I am coming to terms with it a bit now, its like a period of adjustment...oddly i am not really minding being sick, unless I am throwing up something foul-tasting (aka yesterdays rice crispies,,,gross)

dd got a temp and a bit of a cough today. She's fine, but keeping an eye on her.

Insulated the dogger's kennel with bubble wrap type sheeting yesterday, seems to have worked well.

Off now to continue my sad litle life

Every time I send a message it takes ages to load it and I have to be somewhere else. Sorry your dd not well.

Now I feel crappy too

dd got quite a sore sounding cough, but only occasionally. She's really clingy and wanting cuddled the whole time as well. We're going with Calpol, Brufen and the odd Tixylix at bedtime to help settle her.

It's so darned cold up here. Don't think we got much above freezing all day. She goes out in her Buggy with a blanket, a cosy toes and an apron cover with an anorak and woolly hat.

Made a big pot of veison stew yesterday, so that's the freezer stocked for a while. I love being able to just take a portion out to defrost for dinner. Don't have to worry.

WWW hope things aren't too horrible at home. You know we're here if you need to let off steam.

The Macdogs are all quite a lot better today and are off out to run about in the frosty park.
