Talking of cars, just read a review for the new Mini Clubman. I want. I had a Mini Cooper from new until I had dd. Was nice. Selling it paid for our bathroom.

ScareBear · 13/11/2007 20:54

my ds2 ia still in 9-12 months clothes, he a tiddler still. he hasnt been weighed scince june so no idea what he weighs.

my brother fell off his motorbike friday and broke his arm, he was suppossed to have it pinned today but they sent him home as they didnt have time to do it today, hes not happy at all, they told him they dont know if they will be able to do it tomorrow either!!! so i told my parents to take him to the next nearest hospital at norwich. it needs sorting out, i cant believe they didnt operate on him at the weekend.

i'll be finding out tomorrow whats going on. my mum was also due to go in tomorrow and have her carpal tunnel done but they cancelled it till after xmas, so shes not a happpy bunny either

ScareBear · 13/11/2007 20:57

AND i take my cat to the vets this afternoon as hes is rreally poorly, they thinks hes eaten some poison, so hes all dripped up and they've done some blood tests and will have to see how he's doing tomorrow, but it's not looking good for him so far. ds1 is really upset as its his fave cat. he even said a prayer for him at bedtime.

worleybear · 13/11/2007 21:00

hello y'all

no baby as yet...but she did have a show yesterday am apparently...
fingers crossed she won't need an induction.

dd was a pain at the inlaws, and they had their bloody house freezing effing cold so bad my ears ached at night!! either we are hopelessly overheating ours or they are vampires.

they also bought her a battery powered ride on for xmas...gutted as Ive got her one too and theirs is much better, they got really excited and have given it to her already so wtf do I do with mine??? my firnds baby is too young to have it for xmas, so Ill just hold onto it until shes one, next October!!!! annoying...

JoanWilder · 14/11/2007 10:41

poor woman with liver cancer.
and your bro's arm, hope he feels better soon WB

Jennster · 14/11/2007 16:33

That's cold JW! I love a cold bedroom and always have the window open, but I'd be hard pushed to get it cold enough to get my ears aching! Where abouts are your ils? Further north than us?

How is your brother WB?

Macdog · 14/11/2007 16:34

OP posts:
Jennster · 14/11/2007 16:46

Hmm. Nice.

Any ideas how to do Salmon differently tonight?

Macdog · 14/11/2007 19:03

Sorry I took so long.
Went off to make dinner (fish pie).
What did you end up doing with the salmon?

OP posts:
Jennster · 14/11/2007 19:50

Dry fried it, drowned it in lemon juice and served it with spinach and lentils cooked with onion and pancetta. I liked it, dh thought it was ok, and dd ate all of my salmon, after peeling the crispy skin off it and eating that with her hands first.

worleybear · 14/11/2007 21:36

hello all,
im bust putting more of ds2's old clothes on ebay again. im on a mission to try and shift the last two bags of stuff to give me some room in the bottom of the wardrobe.

they promised me in theatre today they will do my brothers arm for him tomorrow. they also cancelled my mums surgery today and told her they had to shut a theatre down so it wasnt going to go ahed, they didnt know that we knew another person having it done today and i was working up there so knew it wasnt closed!! my mum went round to the surgeons office and they apologised as they didnt realise she was staff and they had to cancel 2 people and they picked her. but if they had of known she was staff they would have left her on the list!! she cant have it done till after christmas now so shes upset, she has really bad carpal tunnel syndrome.

worleybear · 14/11/2007 21:39

we had to have doodles our car put to sleep this morning, his bloods came back and kidneys were finshed off by the poison he had, we dont what it was but we are going to ask all the neighbours if they bhave put out some rat posion or something. ds1 was really upset and was worried doodles had blue tongue as it seems to be around a lot here!!

Jennster · 15/11/2007 07:22

Awww I'm sorry WB. Not much luck for your family at the moment is there?

Injections today. DS has a really noisey chest though. Do you reckon they will still jab him? #no temp or cold, just a wheeze.

Jennster · 15/11/2007 13:46

Christening cake all finished now. Diet starts next week.

JoanWilder · 15/11/2007 15:27

sorry about the cat, WB,
the salmon sounded lovely J
off to check out MD's hair...got mine cut today too, what a luxury. I was looking like cousin It and it was taking far too long to dry .

Jennster · 15/11/2007 17:01

Cod in tomato with olives served with brown rice for dinner tonight.

DD scoffed my salmon last night so only got a mouthful of it!

Macdog · 15/11/2007 19:16

Sorry to hear that the troubles of WB continue, sending positive thoughts your way, x

dh and I off to Glasgow tomorrow for a night out! dd off to the horrible PIL's Fri to Sun. Macdoggie off to kennels and we've got a hotel room booked!!
One of dh's colleagues is having a leaving do, so we're offski. We originally thought about last train, but have decided to have a proper night. Hotel just off Sauchiehall St, so really handy for the town.
Home on Sat, pick up Macdoggie then off down the pub to see Scotland attempt the unthinkable

Off to pack dd's bags now, catch up soon
