What word do you use for your son's testes?

After a brief discussion dp and I can't come up with anything better than testes. Can you?

Goolies, balls or testicles.

testes are the actual gonads.

testicles can also mean the actual gonads but also has an associated meaning of the whole testis-and-scrotum combination. According to various dictionaries, anyway.

Will go with "testicles" when the subject comes up (which it hasn't so far).

since speaking to one of his school friends my 5 yrea old ds now has a variety of names for them including balls, nuts and his fave conkers

I am lol at the whole scrotum and testicles debate, when we had the convo ds was actually manhandling the bits inside and asking what are these inside here.

Stripy Peanuts.
(DS started saying 'peanuts after mishearing the anatomically correct language we attempted to instil...and then one day in the bath said 'what are this things in this stripy skin? oh, they must be my stripey peanuts')

I don't call them balls. I'm trying to encourage my ds to kick a ball at the moment and I don't want to confuse him.
