Well fancy in one dream my designer at work had left and been replaced by JR. Good subconscious. In another I was helping him to fight off killer alien egg creatures that had infested his hair. Bad subconscious.

Right, I am out of my moping mood of yesterday. Onwards.

We have consulted the Radio Times and put reminders on today's viewing.

I am still waiting for DH to produce my DB gift that he has been charged with getting.

helping him to fight off killer alien egg creatures that had infested his hair actually PMSL at this, sorry madame

Still it's better than my dream this morning in which I moved house, to a not very nice one, next door to my ex-cleaner. I went round to say hello to her, but inexpicably decided to eat a large toffee beforehand so I could barely speak. I mean WTAF?

I've just had a sippy cup thrown at me and a demand for milk with menaces. I suggested she enquire whether her father could assist with her request and she slammed my laptop shut.

Wouldn't mind but this was the first time I've sat down since Monday.

IKR madame - how long did I spend ferreting out pics of hot men yesterday. Fucking subconscious. Do you think I should spend today finding pictures of cleaners & see what happens tonight?

Watching the Last crusade on tv. Remember going to see this at the cinema when I was 16!
Just made some mince pies to take to pils on Xmas day.
Dh is off tomorrow. Which is good as I have the grocery shop to do in the morning and then mum is coming up for lunch.
Then we are off to Dhs aunts then to pils to see sil who we won't see on Xmas day.
I am so tired.
I think the past month or so is catching up with me tbh :( first I was ill, then ds2 then ds1 then mum! She is still not great - can't walk far at all.
God, the weather is weird isn't it? Really quite warm here and I have spring bulbs coming up in the garden!!

Same here badders, some snowdrops are out and my quince is in flower Confused.

I really need to get on with some jobs, but ScaredyCat climbed inside my hoodie, curled up & went to sleep purring. I hate to move a snoozing cat.

Clinging onto mug of Earl Grey as finishing it means getting on with jobs. Actually jobs not too bad - all pudding related, and that means kitchen and kitchen means mulled wine...it's getting better and better the more I think about it Grin

Feeling shattered still as ds1 woke me up at 5.30, then ds2 gashed his head at 7.10 and we were at Minor Injuries shortly after (in and out quickly and back home eating breakfast by 8.20). DS2 absolutely fine.

Since then we've been to see Santa on a train, toddled around Alresford and found a rather good second hand book shop, and I'm finally being to feel a wee bit Christmassy but that have been the free wine Hmm

BangDogMerrilyOnHigh · 23/12/2015 16:12

Think you've earned taht mulled wine issy - ScaredyCat has crawled out now, leaving me covered in cat hair, so I should get on - laters!

Jobs, meh.
I've got loads to do!
What I am actually doing is watching shrek on bbc1.
Oh! Great! Ds2 had just come to me crying in pain with his left eye...its red and filled with puss! Fab.
