anne I just think it's such a no brainer. For children it's so easy to learn almost by osmosis and then yey presto, enhanced CV in the fututre . It can, hopefully, open extra doors for the future not to mention the full appreciation of the other culture. ANd if there is someone who can do that for you - yay.

Morning all. We have SaturdaySportingActivity complicated by an accident on the route in and a massive LocalEvent causing traffic carnage as well. Followed by a birthday party for a small relative. I anticipate much stress....

I frigging hate other people's children.

This may be a slight over-reaction due to the fact that you can't actually shout at them as you can your own. In case they go home & tell. But when one of them is mimicking you telling your child not to do something..... AND he kept coming in the room I was wenching in with his fucking Nerf gun & just standing there hiding. Which proper put me off my stride and also required laptop to be opened & closed, opened & closed

Anyways. This afternoon I shall be sitting in the hairdressers for 3 hours reading magazines & doing my nails.

Morning. I have a cardinal (nto) rule that we don't do sleepovers. Which makes me a crapola mother but I can live with it. They are allowed to sleepover in each other's room at weekends, which they love but they always go straight to sleep. What is the actual point?

LetUs I think we have the same DS. Cloned or something. It's like a roller coaster and he gets so angry about nothing then realises and collapses sobbing and wanting cuddled. Spoke to the school and seems he is lovely while he is there, so just with me then. Super. Roll on the end of term - 7 weeks? We don't get half term up here as we finish end of June.

And I f**king hate other peoples children. generally. cant stand my own most of the time, let alone anyone elses. Actually that's not true. I do like children. They seem to like me quite alot. But I can only cope with them for a short period of time.
I make a huge huge effort when I have had to look after others children for the whole day. I meticulously plan and make things really nice and really cool, with tonnes of fab food. But by god, I love it when they go home!!

I am alone. Dh has flown up to Scotland. I think I might watch a series 1 episode...........

Well I have been writing an exam answer since 9.25 because I have been occupying the DC and washing clothes whilst DH has moaned about there never being any dinner for him. I.E. My mum or dad cook for themselves, the kids and me a shepherds pie, some kebabs or whatever but he doesn't do 'white man food' - I kid you not, he said those words, so apparently he always has to go without. He appears to think that good should be cooked according to his taste and not the other 6 people who eat fucking spaghetti bolognese with no issue! Twat and I was beginning to like him.

Drink I agree. Up until now I have been busy, the bus ride with a toddler wasn't filling me with joy as well as adding basically another whole day at 'school' just didn't seem fair at the time and if I am honest it is less language as if I actually tried I could cover that, but the social element and the extracurricular stuff that I like. It might be different now though as DC3 is old enough to go to, so I would just roll up and drink coffe and read a book whilst they all go and learn.
