Well it was certainly memorable!

MadamedeChevreuse · 23/05/2015 15:56

Sorry drink I thought you meant "Poland is though." Are you getting into your milkmaid costume for tonight btw?

Mmm fancy he's not bad at all. Nice chest rug.

FancyFancy · 23/05/2015 16:06

Yes I thought the chest rug might be popular in here Madame

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 23/05/2015 16:07

No, it isn't Hmm

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 23/05/2015 16:08

That was inregards to the chest rug.

This year's Polish entry is a proper artist (I think). Will need to google!

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 23/05/2015 16:15

LOVED that hat thing. Oooooft.

Meal planning/online shop should only take an hour, especially for 2 of you Drink. Unfortunately, I always also have here, Twitter & FB open so yeah...2/3 hours Grin

It does get repetitive & boring though, as you don't do the "oooooh, that looks nice, let's try that!" like you do when strolling round the supermarket.

I just want Aldi to go online now, then my life will be complete although that would mean no middle aisle of randomness browsing

Oh - and [high five] MNHQ.

Cinnamoncookie · 23/05/2015 16:22

Cancel the alarms, stand down the panic, I have peach bellini !!

There's lots of camping stuff in the aldiaisleofweirdness this week

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 23/05/2015 16:28

I just need more resolve I think. I go to lidl sometimes but end up spending more money cause I get all the nice bitsHmm

When I think about meal
Plan for 7 days my mind literally jumbles up and then freezes. Online shop already takes me an hour! And then I still end up needing to go to shops cause i forgot the main thing.

Also DD's cheese and milk add up cost wise (goats cheese and buffalo mozzarella and almond) but i'm sure there is loads of room for improvement.

I do already batch cook so that's one plus among a sea of minuses.Hmm

MiladyBeaWinter · 23/05/2015 16:33

I'm shocking at "Ooo that looks nice" and also a sucker for a not such a special offer. I've also checked my credit card bill for the last two months and it would appear we spend more than I think we do. Blush. I do better on the weeks I go to Aldi or get a Sainsburys delivery, not so good on the weeks I physically go to Tesco or Sainsburys.

Thankfully I do all the finances, pay the bills, do the bank etc. DH has no clue what we have or where we have it. Makes life a lot easier - no complaining about what I spend. He does do the eyeroll about kids clothes, but I think that's just so he has something to moan about. I ebay and pass on outgrown, and get stuff handed too so I wave a bargain in front of him every so often and he is fooled impressed.

I have a bottle of fizz in the fridge for tonight, and eurosnacks . DH is wanting to watch and has score sheets, so not sure how much actual wenching I'll manage. Shame Ireland are out, after today's vote the Eurovision world would have gone mad for them tonight.

Deservedly so. Fucking well done Ireland. [luck]

MiladyBeaWinter · 23/05/2015 16:41

Oh. How do you do clover / shamrock?

[clover]

MiladyBeaWinter · 23/05/2015 16:41

Lyndie · 23/05/2015 16:52

Afternoon all. Just heading home from the beach, gorgeous day and BBQ, tired and dirty children in the back!!

I do not do Eurovision (it's awful) so I'm going out for a meal with DH. And I can't post on the new thread so I'll try the next one - see you in a 1000 posts!!

£150 a week at Waitrose and £15-20 top up for milk etc. Shock

Baddz · 23/05/2015 17:26

The princess bride is on channel 5.... Go go go!!!

MavisGrind · 23/05/2015 18:19

Evening all.

Before I forget....Madame - defo about end of July. We should make plans!

I've been really economising this month and writing down every penny I've spent - I've just totted up my food spend and I appear to have spent £120 for the whole month Shock. Now, in my defence, the dcs are away a bit and have small appetites anyway, I haven't included school lunches in this, I haven't bought any alcohol all month and I have been running down the freezer. Still very surprised by this - I added it up three times as I didn't believe it!

Prob won't watch Eurovision as I have loads of ironing to do so won't be able to keep up. I do have peach Bellini though so will be with you in spirit.

Off to placemark on the new thread (well done Cinn) Laters my lovelies.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/05/2015 18:21

The Princess Bride, I love that Smile

An earlier MÃ¥ns Smile

Here's a real cutie, Anton, a couple of years ago, the video starts about 1 min in.

AnneOfAramis · 23/05/2015 18:47

I like Eurovision for more than the piss-taking. Some of the music I genuinely like as lots is regionally similar to the other homeland. I usually support who I like on the night, but if not then Azerbaijan because they are like the little brother and basically speak the same language if they actually sing in bloody Azeri.

AnneOfAramis · 23/05/2015 18:51

But pretty much everything I listen to is Latin, Bollywood/other Indian genre and Arabic so it's safe to say my taste is a bit different. I liuuurrrrvvvee Ricky Martin but mostly only listen to his Spanish stuff.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/05/2015 18:56

This is my all time favourite I think, Serbia and Montenegro 2004 Smile

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 23/05/2015 19:05

I thought it was only for pisstaking!

Angry @ those not watching! It's an Inn tradition now, you know!

AnneOfAramis · 23/05/2015 19:06

Wicked - this was my fave. It played all summer in Turkey that year. m.youtube.com/watch?v=10XR67NQcAc

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 23/05/2015 19:16

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/05/2015 19:34

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 23/05/2015 19:45
