More Harry Potter- Does anyone else think Snapes a goodie?

Having re-read The Half Blood Prince last week, I think he is on the right side, but no-one agrees with me! Anyone else sad enough to have an opinion on this?

Snape - no way - didn;t he kill dumbledore?

Dp thinks so - he thinksDumbledorewanted Snape to kill him rather than one of the badones, as he was going to get killed - orworse - anyway.

I agree imnot 27. I can't for the life of me remember why I think it from the books, but I do have a sneaky suspicion that he'll end up the hero. I'm also convinced that Dumbledore isn't really dead but that could just be wishful thinking on my part.

And I fancy Alan Rickman.

Yep, but I think Dumbledore knew he was going to die, cos he drank that funny liqiud in the bowl thing where the locket was, in the cave. (With me so far?)

Maybe, D didn't want Malfoy to be a killer, so he asked Snape to do it?

I'm totally with you, imnot27. I thought all the way through the book that there'd be a twist and it'd be explained somehow - still think there will be in the next one (though may not be entirely unrelated to my inexplicable crush on Alan Rickman )

I have always felt that Snape was a goodie. I was really sad when he was a DeathEater. I still think that he must be working deep undercover to ensure Harry's safety.
