I am not a Chelsea fan but am really pleased for them and hope they go the distance in Europe - they deserve it and so does Ranieri.

Must say I would be amazed to find any Arsenal fans wishing Chelsea well in the next round!

in reference to the money however - it was a lot of effort from long standing players that helped to the victory along with the cheapest ones - Bridge and Lampard.....

unlike Hernan Crespo who earns a whopping £92 000 a WEEK - is that obscene or is it just me?!?!?!

What I find annoying about the players' wages is the cost of football. We sit in the cheapest stand at Chelsea and it will still cost £500 odd each for us to renew the season tix and then on top of that are the away tix and foreign trips (and I've hardly been for the last year or so because of the kids so it means other half gets to take his mates gggrr). We can hardly afford the cost this year but my other half would go without shoes for a year before he'll give his season ticket up!

I mean what do you do with £90k a week?

Yes, well this will make you laugh. I've always liked football but was not allied to any particular team until........ I moved to Shepherds Bush and because a QPR supporter!!!! I keep telling hubby that we'll be in the same division next season He does say that Spurs are going all out for their usual 11th/12th place which keeps them financially viable and in the Premiership but not much else...

I am even sadder - growing up in aus been more of a rugby league fan than a football fan and now I surprise myself and others how much I know and understand.
