Thought I would start a new thread as the other one has reached 1000

Hope this quiet time soon passes for everybody!!
I've seen kids mostly from B&B, UA, and TS, and odd one from scallywags and MOT .. the asda castings dd1 did ages ago, lots of kids from all sorts of agencies.

cyan, glad to hear NYC was good .. didn't get to chat to you much on Sunday .. as dh and friends suddenly said they were going.
Dh asked if i'd like to go NYC probs in Nov (for our 10th anniversary) but i'm thinking i can't coz dd1 has school

hmm .. i wouldn't know i'm afraid .. mine weren't with an agency this time last yr. It's always been quiet for my dd1 tho.

thumbs- and my ds was with scallywags and he only had the 1 job in a year and that was this time last year. i cant comment at all!

dd2 has done well so far, but for some reason i'm expecting it to quieten down for her too

hi thumbs we should get together at brent x or something in a cpl of weeks? i have fridays free and we could take ds and your dd2 to topsy turvy maybe? altough i think gambado is better its a bit of a trek to traipse there seeing as u have to get dd1 from school. let me know what you think.

have spoken to ds dad and looks like ds' grandparents are going to take him to the job. i have decided that he wont be doing any castings whilst im doing this course unless they are on a friday, as i cant afford to miss my studies and dont want to take him out of nursery for the sake of a casting and him not to get it! at least this job is a straight job and not like the last bloody casting.

julie4travel........Thanx so much for the e-mail of the pics of DS. It is him on pg85!!! Thanx for posting a copy. I shall be attacking the postman for it by Monday am.

mrratty.......I have checked on the Toys R Us website and found him......although it is just an outline picture, not the same as in the catalogue. I have actually been checking the site for a few weeks now. But I have been putting in "Spy Games" into the search and it's been coming up with nothing. I had tried laboriously searching through the site, but not found him. Now having seen the picture, I just put in "Spy Gear"......and there he was! He has appeared on the site several times before and is currently still on there at least 4 times. Thanx for the tip though.

Gosh, but it is quiet at the moment!! We haven't had a single call from either agent in 2 1/2 weeks! Hope it starts again soon.

I'm back from the school run and dds shoes, socks and feet are all wet .. stepping in so many puddles!!

mrsratty.....thanx for nice comments about DS....if you've got the right pic he has dark spy glasses on, so you can't really see him. A better pic of him on TRU site is where he adverises a Batman Begins Ninja Sword

oh, but you said dark glasses .. i think i know now .. he has a sort of star wars/luke skywalker look about him!! (although i've never watched star wars, so i could be wrong!!)

hi all, long day today! we were at calpol shoot in clap junction (what a place, converted schoolhouse loft with 20' ceilings wow!) for over 4 hours. he slept once and they did a bunch but they asked him to stay for 2nd nap and take some more which they did and were even better!! they seemed to love him and the pics were so gorgeous! there were 2 other babies, much older than ds. one wouldn't sleep, the other arrived as we were leaving. i think they were trying to very different babies, because he had soft blonde curls and was very pale (absolutely beautiful boy). so we'll see if they get used. they're for adverts in m&b, practical parenting, etc. i think she said nov but may have been jan i can't remember! anyway was a lovely day and we both really enjoyed it.

also found out today that debbie bliss want ds back next week for some more shots for that same book. the woman (i don't know her job title, she buys props and clothes etc. and arranges shots) that was at debbie bliss and white co was there today and had proofs from the debbie bliss book and looks like ds might be on the cover!!!

ragamuffin your ds is v cute, love his dimples. seems like he's done quite a lot. could be that the baby rush is over and there'll be more work for the kids now!
