julie4travel - what happened did B+B say yes but not to only modelling? They do do some TV work, commercials and BBC stuff.
Jurasic- My DD is in this months Junior, in 2 articles - secret hidaways and boys/girls.

mrratty- b and b said they wouldn't do modelling only as fed up with people stipulating that. it makes it hard

Jurassic- mot aren't sole rep are they? you could go with a seperate casting agency then aswell if you joined them and not have the same prob as i have!

Have you asked your son what he would prefer? My daughter is 5 and I know modelling suits her better than TV work so we won't ever have that dilema. It must be really hard as B&B are such a fab agency but you have just joined aa acting one.

Hi Jurassic,sorry for the late reply been out all day. DD is 2 and a half so quite a lot younger than your dd. Considering that traditionally there isn`t much work around for 18-36 months she has done quite well. She has been lucky and had some lovely jobs such as a 3 day shoot for a worldwide campaign for Zara,2 jobs for M&S ,Huggies,Monsoon ,Debenhams ,she is also in the September issue of Junior .We sometimes have to turn down jobs and castings as I work part time. We are very pleased with B &B .However saying that MOT are meant to be very good too. Good luck re: whatever you decide.

Hi Tigeryuan! Hope you are well. Is the September issue of Junior out already? Had a look at website and it said it was on sale from 3rd August?! She is wearing lilac checked trousers and her hair is up in bunches.

Yes,apparently so , not seen a copy yet. I emailed the fashion editor who was at the shoot She replied straight back and said Lauren was in Sept issue.

her name is there, she looks so different. she was up side down or something. the topic is called Glass houses. she wore a pink top & a grep dress or something, as i cant see the bottom half.

Thanks very much for that Tiger! She was crawling about on a glass panel set in the floor and photographed from underneath..Hence why she looks so different!! She had a heat rash on her face that day too so they were photographing from different angles. Wow ,now you have told me you didnt recognise her,I am imagining that she looks well,,,odd..Cant wait to see it.I should have subscribed to magazine too.

when i first looked at it, i checked the name. i know your girls name & agency. but i thought its someone else. she looks much younger!! very cool pic ! going to bed now.

morning all- hope the suns still shining today. i think i am going to run teh question with the casting agent if my ds can not be put up for commercials then he could still stay with them for film and other tv work. has anyone asked a casting agent if they can do that before? my hubbie wants us to give another month or so with teh casting agent as its still early days

by the way i asked my son photos or tv and he said he wants to do both!

Didnt B+B say no filming restrictions though?

If so, they may not be happy with just being able to put him forward for commercials.

It must be very difficult but I guess you have to decide what kind of work he's best suited to or you want him to do.
If its filming of any sort then CS is better for you but if its photographic ie magazines and stuff then go with B+B as the are really a modell agency and dont get much filming except commercials.

jurassic- hi b and b did say if cs would allow it i could do commericals with them and film etc with cs , they wouldn't have a problem with that as they rarely get any film work. they dont think cs would agree to it though, yet i think worth asking the question

Hi, hope that everyone is well.

DD has a casting for C&G, in the morning they want her to look younger than her age, but DD looks older so probably wont get it, but its still experience.

It V.quite on here tonight where is everyone? Good Luck to anyone else with castings/ jobs this week.

they said i could find it online.

already had it done with IK, and its not run out, but ofcourse they are uncontacable anyway.

will drop this off at GP's later, and get some pics done. i am so unorganised.
