haha mimi, the ironing thread has loads of people on it that dont iron their kids clothes!
i couldnt do it, creased clothes make me feel funny

has anybody know of dkmodels as my dd has been asked to go to an interview with them ?
are they sole rep do they charge loads etc?
any help would be great im still struggeling(spelt wrong i think) with what to do

also for a 7mth old who would you suggest trying /

lanismum, oh my god not ironing clothes thats unheard of in this house, that would be heaven but as u said 'i just couldnt lol.. i have ironed his whole stock of clothes, and im worn out, and just found a few more bits i usually iron as i go but have left it for ages, and there was tons he has so many clothes

i know dk models got the contract for mamas and papas recently which would have been such a lovely job, i love there stuff, x

afternoon all- right found out with b and b that you cant be with a seperate casting agency as they have had problems in the past etc. so I have the weekend to decide stick with cs or go with b and b! Its hard to know what to do for the best!

ellesmum did you give b and b a chase to check if they received your photos?

julie 4 travel did u reapply to bruce and brown then and get a yes second time aorund?? or am i confused, i do not know too much about cs really, is there any way u can put cs on hold for a little while?? these difficult decisions always pop up!!!!!!

yes mimi i re applied the other day purely cause i was stalling ts and nc cause of the fees etc. ds is already with cs and carole said ok to get a seperate modelling agency, i heard some were with b and b and casting agencys so gave them a try and basically i have to make the decision. i have paid 52 for photoshoot with cs and a year on spotlight at 80 pounds. carole is lovely though and he has had one casting since joining them end of June (which i thinks great really) i am worried he is missing out by not being with a modelling agency in the meantime!

hi julie i emailed b and b this morning and they said they have now given my pics to the right department, it could take 24 hours or up to a month to get a decision depending how busy they are ive already been waiting almost a month now so i think thats a bit ridiculas. i went with kids london now so it dosnt really matter, but would still like 2 know what the outcome is.
i got a yes from truly scrumptious yesterday. but still glad i went with kids as ts is very pricy.

its really difficult, i have heard good things about bruce and brown, but i do not know, anything of them really , it must be reall ahrd to know what to do,! good luck with ur decision

ellesmum- i am putting my dd with ts as not many agencies really wanted her when i applied. just waiting to Mon next week (payday) to send the huge fees off. they seem to get the work though just a shame on the charges. did you go to one of their assements aswell

julie good luck with ts ive heard they are good it is a shame about the fees. ive been invited to an assesment day at the end of august but wont be going as im already with kids.

Hi all! Cyan,heehee ,how funny! You must be such a proud mummy! I remember when dd`s Zara pic was used on the front cover of "Sloane Square" a freebie mag for residents/businesses in Chelsea .My sister ,bless her ,went to their offices and with heir permission picked up as many as she could physically carry!! She had to lug about 50 magazines home with her on the tube. Will try my best to get to mothercare before we meet and will nab as many as I can for you!

Julie, well done for getting ds into BB. You must be chuffed. It pays to follow things up.
DD has her Bubblegum photo shoot booked for Sep 9th. I'm a bit nervous actually. Spoke to my father in law today and have roped him into helping me get to and from any castings/jobs we may get. He's a lorry driver and lived in London for years(is in cheshunt now) so will be much better than me at getting places. Also I won't need to park as he will be able to drop me off and collect me after. I've actually been worrying about all the travelling side of it all. Its so daunting to me to get to all these places alone. He won't be able to help me all the time as he does work but its shifts so he is around in the day in the week. My dad is around in the day too but he'd prob be just as stressy as me, driving in london so not the best person to ask!

Julie what a dilemma!!

Wasnt it you that said no-one was interested in accepting you lo's at one point, now here you are trying to decide between all those.

B+B are very hard to get into and an excellent, top agency I would go with them as you wont get the chance again and Carole takes most kids who are half decent I m sure she'd have him/her back again like a shot.

Out of the 2 agencies also, B+B get much more work than cs. Good luck
