Thats really sweet!!!

We had a bit of a nightmare in Willsden as I left the station at the wrong exit just as it started to pour with rain! When we got there it was all so quick and easy, studio work is much easy than location! It was for a christmas brouchure which seemed really funny in this heat.

mimi1uk · 05/07/2006 19:58

i have just emailed CK to let them know that serena needs glasses. was that the right thing to do?

mimi1uk · 05/07/2006 21:47

does she need them all the time?

yackertyyack · 05/07/2006 21:49

MIMI .... am due anyday now!! [GRIN] Good luck with casting tomorrow.
MISDEE...... yes agencies like you to keep them informed of any changes in appearence - scars, teeth, haircuts etc. Am sure it will not affect her chances of working ....is she keeping them on ok????

misdee · 05/07/2006 21:50

the frames will be ready next week. she is extremely long sighted and will need them all the time, as she also has axis(??) problem and will end up with a lazy eye if she doesnt wear them.

mimi1uk · 05/07/2006 21:58

marymay · 06/07/2006 09:51

hi lindac..my 10 year old dd is with u/a .i dont know much about childs play.she was also offered a place with bizzykidz which are surposed to be good for older children but we went with urban angels.i have only heard bad things about models direct.have you tryed mot kids they are also surposed to be good for older children.

julie4travel · 06/07/2006 09:58

lindac- hi welcome to this thread

Bizzykids has good and bad feedback

Childs Play accepted both my kids. After looking up information I decided against booking the appointment with them purely beacause I wanted to find a agency with a smaller amount of kids on the books. I have been looking for ones with 350 kids or so on the books as last year my ds was with Scallywags and only had 1 job in a year yet they have 1000 kids so I wondered if it because they have too much variety

I did buy a good book called "modelling and acting for kids which listed a few agencies to try"

Also there are some info websites
www.notapushymum.com and www.childmodelling.net
which has information on agencies and feedback from members. Obvioulsy everyones opionion is totally different.

You might want to try some other agencies and then see what one you think is the best option for you out of all of them

Good Luck with your decisions
