ds with with BK for over 2 years .he had one job and never went to one single casting. i got fed up with paying for doctors letter and sending in photos when they phone woudl never ring. they have so many kids of their books. it seems now they are getting more picky but up until month or so ago i never heard anyone say they turned them down. on the one job he did do we were quoted a price and then was paid less than what they said. if i was giving advice to a friend i would say try UA, MOT, BB or kidS london as they seem to be spoken about really highly.

mimi1uk · 06/07/2006 22:22

HI I really want my Dd to do modelling as I think she is gorgeous and want to show everyone but my DP is dead against it it. Any advise on how to win him round?

sha11 · 07/07/2006 09:17

Hi everyone

My dd is with bk, she has been with them since april, she has had a casting and also one job without a casting, she has also been put forward for 2 other things that i know of but didnt have the look the company wanted. I find the staff very nice and helpful. So far am really happy with them.

strawberrymilkshake · 07/07/2006 09:47

Hi Georg >> Welcome to the site. What has you dh got against modelling.

mimi1uk · 07/07/2006 10:29

my dp was not really too into into it at first now he even takes him to castings, and is as proud as punch when he sees him on telly in a advert, i really do not believe it does any harm to any child especially as most enjoy it and also they can earn a little money for later life, which is always a good thing

mimi1uk · 07/07/2006 10:30

alinjosh · 07/07/2006 12:03

Hi i am looking into modelling for my 1 yr old and wondered if anyone had heard of rascals, urban angels have closed there books till late november also would be interested to here any other reccommendations

mimi1uk · 07/07/2006 12:19

i have heard good things for urban angels kids london, mot junior, bruce and brown,

julie4travel · 07/07/2006 12:40

Mimi Happy birthday, Its my hubbies today aswell.
Bet hes a lot older than you though (hes nine years older than me!)
I still haven't seen the ad on TV

alinjosh- someone had their kids with Rascals and wasn't that impressed on one of the older threads, cant think who though. My kids got accepted by them and I never booked the assesment for them as I heard there were better agencyes

Strawb- anything from cs? I haven't heard anything i did email asking when we will be on teh site etc and no answer

sha11- are the gel sheets from boots too? have you tried them do they work? I never even heard of things like that before yet anything is worth a try!

Hope you are all ok
