My second thread. The first is awaiting deletion due to details that were in the thread.

Basically, my brother is in intensive care with multiple stab wounds, he is stable, but critical. So he could go either way.

At the moment it doesn't feel real to me, I feel like I'm in a soap or something! It's very surreal :(

His oxygen is now down to 75% which is good, just got to hope it keeps getting lower now. Apparently he's doing all the breathing actions himself, he's just not taking in enough oxygen.

Thank you everyone, you've all really helped so far, it's lovely having someone there to talk to whenever I need to.

He just keeps going up and down, the doctor says the next few days will be the hardest apparently. His oxygen was down to 75% yesterday, back up to 100% today. He's still kind of stable though.

The hospital summoned us all at 3am, his left (good) lung is giving up, so now it's basically just his heart keeping him going. The doctor says he doesn't know how long it'll be. It's looking very very likely that he will die. We just don't know when. His heart rate is 148.
