Basically, my brother is in intensive care with multiple stab wounds, he is stable, but critical. So he could go either way.

At the moment it doesn't feel real to me, I feel like I'm in a soap or something! It's very surreal :(

What a bloody day so far! Got summoned to hospital at 3am because his good lung is giving up, so we're just sitting around waiting for him to die. Then a doctor came and suggested this procedure to put oxygen straight into his blood to help his lungs heal. Great! Yes? Only problem is, he has to go to manchester. 2 hours away. So now we're waiting to hear from the Dr about what exactly will happen and how long he'll be there etc. So we're all clutching onto this one straw.

Hope that this is your miracle. Your emotions must be all over the place. Make sure you rest when you can and that you remember to eat & drink. It'll stick in your throat but you need it.

He's in theatre now being prepped for his journey. He should be on the road in 2 hours, 70% of people who have this procedure survive so fingers crossed this is the miracle we've been hoping for! He could still die at any time though.
