Basically, my brother is in intensive care with multiple stab wounds, he is stable, but critical. So he could go either way.

At the moment it doesn't feel real to me, I feel like I'm in a soap or something! It's very surreal :(

I'm going to C&P the message I've been updating various people with (names removed). Back home now, Doc said no point in staying. Got a phonecall from my sister in tears at about 7pm saying that DB was on 100% oxygen and they can't do anything more for him. He can only fix it himself now. His right lung is very badly damaged and isn't able to heal because of the oxygen being forced into him so his left lung is doing all the work. He's now on 85% oxygen, and there's still every chance he could die. It's all up to him now :( we need a miracle to get him through this.

Evian his mum and 2 sisters aren't really anything compared to how much close family he has wanting to take care of hi. Put it this way, the ICU waiting room has 15 chairs, 12 of them tonight were taken up by DBs family and that was nowhere near even half of close family members!
