Aillidh Christine Kinnaird died of complications from treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia at around 11.30 on 8 July 2012. She was surrounded by family and friends and most of all, love.

We had our candle lit for you all last night, such sad news. Words can not express the hurt Expat and her family is going through. 'Love like starlight never dies' Aillidh has touched so many peoples lives in that she will live on.

Expat I am truly sorry. She was an amazing young girl who has brought many people together and onto the bone marrow donation register, which is incredible.
