Aillidh Christine Kinnaird died of complications from treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia at around 11.30 on 8 July 2012. She was surrounded by family and friends and most of all, love.

happypotamus · 08/07/2012 21:44

I'm so very very sorry.
There are no words, but I work with children, some of whom die, and this is my simple prayer when I can find no other words:
Lord, I pray for Ailidh as you welcome her into your Kingdom. May she rest in peace, and may she forever walk with the angels in your garden of love. I pray for her family at this time. May they know your love and comfort in these darkest of days. Take care of them Lord and let them know your loving arms around them.

Rest in peace Ailidh.

Oh. How awful and sad. Saw the thread title and knew what was coming.

My thoughts are with all who knew Aillidh. There's a star shining a little brighter tonight.
