We have played with Eve / Evie for the new bubaloo but it's just not sticking, something is preventing us both for going for it, and I don't know what / why. Perhaps we'll suddenly feel it and go for it, but maybe not.

Other contenders are:

Lauren
Amelie

Last night D said he really liked the name Saskia, I'm not so sure.

It has to semi go a bit with Carlotte / Lottie (our eldest DD) and her last name begins with M and you makes a 'moy' sound.

Any comments on the names we have thought of and any other suggestions?

dare I ask what you called your boys? Peregrine and Aeneas?!!

Mytwopenceworth · 02/01/2006 00:35

can't tell you - they are so unusual that I would be instantly identifiable to anyone who has ever come across me in rl!!

hunkermunker · 02/01/2006 00:35

Aren't names difficult and soooo personal?!

PrincessPeaHead · 02/01/2006 00:36

yes, slightly regretting this thread because as soon as I announce this next baby all the people with children called Tegan will be on my announcement like a shot saying "what a CRAPPY name! Eugh!"

and it will serve me right!

harpsichordcarrier · 02/01/2006 00:37

yes! Saskia it is
once knew a very posh girl called Saskia with a lisp tho
she used to say "hello! I'm Thathkia, like Rembrant'th wife"

deaddennis · 02/01/2006 00:37

LOL! Can't believe how much trouble we've had this time - our surname doesn't make it easy - some names just sound hilarious, which isn't the effect you want, really!

PrincessPeaHead · 02/01/2006 00:37

ahhhhhhh.
inigo and finnigan?
cosmo and tarquin?
crispin and tristan?

I'm sorry I'm still giggling about crispin and tristan. Crispy and Tristy for short.

When you start getting hysterical over your own jokes it is time to call it a night. Goodnight!

harpsichordcarrier · 02/01/2006 00:41
