Alrighty then! New rules for Haiku. I will have a go at this, I hope that I will find more great ones when I wake up!

Sorry everyone - my tutor didn't get around to this on Tuesday. I told him to leave it till last cos there was lots of 'proper' work to get through i.e. strictly the work of people who were there.

I left it with him when I left, just to read for his own amusement, and I'm sure he will comment next Tues.

By the way he is an 80-odd year old man who knows everything there is to know about creative writing. Thankfully he has the most open of minds too! It ran to 25 pages when I printed it out - and now it's longer - glad you started composing again!

Haiku exercise
Lifts the mind and the spirit
From our mundane chores.

Did he ever comment on us Janstar?

My tutor didn't say a lot! I think I wore him out, he had his 2nd heart bypass op only a few weeks ago... poor thing
