it's fun having 2
until one eats siblings poo
then its revolting

fio2 · 03/10/2003 16:57
GeorginaA · 03/10/2003 17:12

Somehow I'm not sure
That I feel reassured now
After Jimjams thoughts

JJ · 03/10/2003 17:27

Two boys, opposites
Fight, cry, laugh, love, hope; all twice
Surrounded by life

JJ · 03/10/2003 17:30

There must some cult,
some far off little known group
who believes it's good

The internet knows
We shall ask the google god
It gives us knowledge

But fear not, kind mum
Eating poop will not harm him
My son; living proof

(note from the author: but it's been his own poop, although on an alarmingly regular basis)

JJ · 03/10/2003 17:35

Do not try to search
For information on that
Unless stomach strong

sunchowder · 03/10/2003 18:05

Again I return to a fantastic display of humorous brilliance! Butterfly Mum, thanks for the two additional references, I had already read the first one and then went on to the one I liked which said do it any way you like it, did you see my link? It does seem nice to stay within the 5,7,5 thing though. And I do believe we might have some Renga (without elaborate rules) going on here which was a new term for me!! Cut and Paste: What is renga?
Renga, or renku, is linked verse where two or more poets write a series of verses. There are various types of renga and often elaborate rules to be followed in their construction.

Well I believe that Janstar and Aloha and probably many others must know what the renga rules are. JJ: Love the reference to Google God
Bogwoppit: I have always loved your name and even went to the web to see the cute picture of the Bobwoppit last week. Northerner: You crack me up too and I love haikuing with you too. Georgina try not be afraidI had four at one time (3 steps and one infant)..somehow you get through it all, part of it is wonderful, how it does change your life though. Lillibet (always think of lilliput when I see your name), enjoy your delicious quiet weekend. Fio2- you can't wonder why you are edgyI don't know if he was just at the pub or if he called you, I wish I could make it all better, sending you a cyberhug. JimJams the literal of eat shitthat is amazing, were you starving him or what? Did DH get to floss his teeth? (Does he have teeth yet?) Janstar was serious about getting her work doneI am going to try to get more done too..check back later.

Kisses to all the haikuists across the ocean...

Migraine yesterday
Couldn't join in Haiku fun
Hooray! Lost two pounds!

sunchowder · 04/10/2003 22:17

Oh, these are all wonderful! Lilliput, I am so glad you are liking your hair, and Jodee, I wish I lost two pounds.. Soupy, it was very cutsey. BossyKate, don't feel bad, take care of those sniffles--many more playdates to come. Ah Georgina, what's for tea? How about some turkey stuffing? I adored bread stuffing and puddings for my first three months. Angeliz, excellent!

Today I did shop
And a kind stranger gave me
A can of Lichee

I was at the oriental market picking up some nice teas. I had never experienced a cold can of lichee--it has little bits of fruit in it, quite refreshing it was through a straw!

Oooh, how very strange,
Sunny Sunday afternoon -
Husband playing golf.

I really have to stop thinking in haiku syllables. It's driving me mad

wobblyknicks · 05/10/2003 16:18
