Alrighty then! New rules for Haiku. I will have a go at this, I hope that I will find more great ones when I wake up!
Birth:

Pushing, Reeling, Clutching
Baby in my arms
She is smiling

October:

Pumpkins, apples, and cinnamon
The wind is up
leaves turn brown and crisp

the princess listens
from the royal bedchamber
small peahead bellows

is that one?!

You lot are funny
Laughing my a**e off right now
Trying to think of more

End of the weekend
School beckons tomorrow morning
Children to shout at

They will be tested
And found wanting in knowledge
I have failed again

But some will surpise
And make me feel pround of them
Children learn, time passes

My God - I was offline most of the weekend and didn't realise I had opened this can of worms!
