Alrighty then! New rules for Haiku. I will have a go at this, I hope that I will find more great ones when I wake up!
Birth:

Pushing, Reeling, Clutching
Baby in my arms
She is smiling

October:

Pumpkins, apples, and cinnamon
The wind is up
leaves turn brown and crisp

Chinchilla · 06/10/2003 21:36

You don't like Angel?
Don't know what you are missing
Hunky vampire man...

Chinchilla · 06/10/2003 21:36

I think I'm going to be talking like this tomorrow

Chinchilla · 06/10/2003 21:37

Very tired now - yawn
Going to bed very soon
Night night everyone...zzz

forestfly · 06/10/2003 21:38

Hunky man on mine
He is more my type you see
Angel is to smooth!

forestfly · 06/10/2003 21:40

Im actually developing a problem, i keep writing them. Must stop soon, talking like this now.

lilibet · 06/10/2003 21:47

Its addictive!
I was writing them all day at work
and sending e mails to dp
with lines
like this

I walk round counting syllables!

forestfly · 06/10/2003 21:51

Lillebet did you
sew your hem, or drink some wine
kiss man, all is fine

JJ · 06/10/2003 21:59

Mooncup, I have bought
Keeps blood, empty it at will
Husband, he says, "Cool"

Ventouse, he has seen
It's so huge, how does it fit
Works a miracle

(for me for me, yes
for me, for me, my own self,
maybe not for you)

JJ · 06/10/2003 22:01

Pretend the rules are
only five then seven five
It is easier

forestfly · 06/10/2003 22:04

Had a look at it
I had never heard; mooncup?
It scared me a lot

Turning off P.C.
Im loosing it,you can see
Night to all of thee

Tomorow i must
Concentrate on some essays
Leave mumsnet alone

lilibet · 06/10/2003 22:17

dp is here now
mending my boiler, lovely man!
sewing, wine and bed

marthamoo · 06/10/2003 22:20

Gave my pram away
Two boys, enough, we decide
Why then do I weep?

CountessDracula · 06/10/2003 22:32

Well I'm very pleased
that one small haiku
has resulted in all this.

Even if the first
was a bit offensive to Mieow
Her poem was ok

Sorry Mieow hope that u
forgive me for being so horrid
still, look what happened

lilibetsdp · 07/10/2003 16:13

A long time coming
Together (us) for always
Deeply happy now

Janstar · 07/10/2003 16:20

sprog has detention
so instead of a mile walk
I go and pick her up.

Janstar · 07/10/2003 16:20

Whoops! Can't count.

Mooma · 07/10/2003 17:05

Marthamoo don't weep
Babies seldom go to sleep
New phase of life calls

lilibet · 07/10/2003 18:16

ff has been good
no haiku from her today
miss her wit and charm

dp is soppy
I had a bad day at court
he makes me feel loved

Chinchilla · 07/10/2003 18:40

Lillibet (and lovely dp), how did it all go today?

lilibet · 07/10/2003 19:14

Hi chinchilla,
badly sums it up, bit upset and weepy, but we're of to see Chrissie Hynde in concert now. Will post the details tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

Chinchilla · 08/10/2003 19:06

Hope you enjoyed it.

forestfly · 08/10/2003 20:22

Lillibet not sure
If all went well or didn't
Hope you are ok

lilibet · 08/10/2003 21:07

Hello, this probably isn't the right thread for this as I can't possibly do it in haiku, so I'm about to start typing on the other thread, but thanks anyway!
