Oh bebe that really sucks.
Maybe the stress and you being overtired is making your eye worse too as I find that my eyes are the first things to suffer when I am run down.

Can you try and do something relaxing? Maybe let DH look after DD for a bit and take yourself off for a long bubble (although I'd suggest avoiding a glitter bath bomb after reading this which made me giggle uncrontollably and will hopefully make you smile!!!) bath with a glass of wine and some nice music?

I've got a 2.5 hour drive into London this evening to have dinner and a bit of SWI with DH before I go to Birmingham tomorrow, Leamington Spa on Friday and Yorkshire for the weekend before another day in LEamington Spa on Monday - I lead a very glamourous life dontcha know!!! It's been over 5 years since I last drove in London and I'm a bit scared!!

100years · 18/05/2011 16:43

Hope your drive goes well SWI and your SWI :), and also your trip into Brum tomorrow. I actually live in Brum, maybe one day when you are here we should meet up. And anyone else who has a trip to the midlands for work or pleasure.

bebejones · 18/05/2011 19:56

Sorry ladies, I have read back but I just can't digest it all at the moment!!

Hugs to all, I'll be back soon! :)

MrsSatsuma · 18/05/2011 22:21

That's really rubbish bebe :( Sorry probably daft question, but have you spoken to the doctor / specialist yet? Kick your DH into action - he needs to look after you or we'll set the gruffalo on him!!

SWI I am jealous... I love Leamington! Often near there so I'd join a midlands meet up!

AmandaCooper · 19/05/2011 07:01

MrsS sorry to see your chart has dipped.

Bebe honey that's really bad. Hope you get sorted out quickly and that your DH is looking after you.

SWI have fun on your travels!

Haven't spoken to docs about eye as it's not MS & I'm waiting waiting waiting for my new glasses which will hopefully make it a bit better.

Feet don't appear to be getting worse for now. But this level of fatigue is kicking my butt! MS nurse should be calling me back in the next couple of days to check up on me.

SWI - good luck SWIing!! Wink That thread made me laugh too! Hilarious!

JBells - can't wait for the lowdown & pics of your lovely baby boy! :)

DD is having her first proper haircut today at the hairdressers. I've trimmed it before but it's getting in her eyes now & I'm too scared to put the scissors too close to her eyes/lashes!!! Bit nervous now, my baby is all grown up!

nannyl · 19/05/2011 08:40

Good Morning all.
bebe sorry to hear about your eyes. Lets hope you get new glasses soon, and pleased to here your foot doesnt seem to be getting worse.
Good luck for DD and her haircut!

SWI sounds like you have a fun weekend planned Smile you popping in to see me when i West Yorkshire? LOL

100 hope your midwife appt went well.

waves to everyone else.

No major plans for me today... just going to the market, renewing some library books, and other boring phone calls and stuff. Oh and i got another ebay bargain yesturday..... not the worlds best bargain ever but still good, an immaculate carrycot with rain /storm cover for my mountain buggy. Now I have all the bits and bobs needed to made a 'whole' buggy with all the accessories / added extras!

ShaggingWithIntent · 19/05/2011 11:38

This is sounding like SWI's WIIT tour of Britain!!! Had lovely evening in Town with DH and met up with friends for drinks which was fun. I confessed to him about my thermometer and he did his Hmm face and said it should be natural and not so planned etc. Whilst I'd love that we don't bloody live together so a bit of planning etc is involved. He couldn't really argue with that so hopefully it won't put him off too much. Didn't seem to last night Wink!!!

Bebe. Hope that everything works out ok for you and that DH realizes that you need support from him. So cute minibebe having her first proper haircut. Is she scared?

Nannyl. You like some eBay guru! I'm always too scared to buy stuff on there! Probably a good thing though as otherwise I'd be easily able to spend an absolute fortune!!!

AmandaCooper · 19/05/2011 16:57

Woo hoo SWI you and DH are putting in some serious effort lol. It's a shame you're often out and about, so you can't just pick your days for DTD.

I've got an Ebay grumble today. I bought 6 dining chairs from someone in London and paid a courier to pick them up. The seller has now reneged on the sale, so no chairs AND I'm out of pocket!

Well AF has arrived 6 days early!!! Hmm Angry So feel even more crap! Typical!!

DH was in work for a 7am meeting today & was still awake at 3am doing prep for said meeting. So don't think he's in any position to be looking after me. He looks so drained, really worrying about him! :(

SWI - Of course planning is required!!! Silly man!! Wink It's not like you can jump on him at any given oppurtunity! FX for you that it happens quick with all this military precision! :o

WW - Look on ebay for mat clothes. Oh and also h&m are quite good & dp on high street. (Although dp are costly for the quality IMO)

DD was an angel at hairdressers. We decided not to give her a fringe as we didn't think it'd suit her. So the lady just trimmed it & the plan is to trim it regularly to thicken it up & put it into a bob later in the year! :)

Have made some Peach Melba cupcakes today, they are scrummy! :o

bebe, hope you are feeling better very soon. :( Sucky sucks for you.

nannyl I'll pop and see you when I am up in Yorkshire next if you like :) We are planning on moving back up there at some point but not for a while. Midwife apt was good, heartbeat strong and regular. Baby was lying kind of cephalic, could feel the back and limbs. She is referring me for physic re the pelvic pain. All seems to be well there. Wow you got some great stuff :)

SWI for us we were able to chill out and the plan was a few months of relaxed trying, but then we lived together, had it taken till now then I think we would be using all kinds of things like OPKs etc.

AC, if you contact Ebay can they sort it for you?

WhyWait, yay for popping, although not good re the clothing situation. Mine mostly are from Mamas and Papas, Mothercare and New Look. I think Asda do some maternity clothes if you want to try there, I know I've had tops from Asda before that have been lovely, not been in to look at maternity clothes though. But I reckon they will have vests etc.

I'm bloody knackered today :( And have had some hormonal tears, prob through the tiredness. My poor OH, he came home from work, asked me how I was, I said tired and he said hows your head (meaning mentally) at which I burst into tears! He says there is a man in there pressing the wrong buttons!!! LOL

jbells · 19/05/2011 19:01

Hello everyone :) wow theres a lot to catch up on i will try and name check tomoro ots gatd typing with one hand lol.

Waves to all and hugs of the lil man :) x

bebejones · 19/05/2011 19:39

AC - meant to say, can ebay claim the money back for the courier for you from the seller. Had you already paid them when they went back on it? That's really not on! Grrrr!

JBells - glad you are home & doing ok. xx

100 - those hormones are a PITA aren't they!

WW - Did you go in the h&m IN Bristol or the Cribbs one? Cribbs one is always a bit crappy! GAP do maternity stuff in the cribbs store now I think...pricey though!

Cakes for all :o

WW I got basics from Dotty P's on the high street. The one in Leeds has a pretty big maternity section. Other stuff i got from Next online, Mamas and Papas and Mothercare. I got some nice dresses from ASOS too. I'd never used them before but they were really good and had no probs with an item i had to return as it didn't fit properly. I was very impressed. They have a big choice of maternity stuff.

JBells really glad it went ok and you are home now.

Half day at work for me and then we are off down to the big smoke for the weekend to see my sister :)

100years · 20/05/2011 10:52

jbells :) Hey, glad you are here and don't worry about catching up yet. Have added you on FB. Waves back to your lil man :) Glad you are feeling brighter than after dd.

bebe, the hormones blinking well are a proper PITA.

Whywait, yeah OH is pretty amazing, I do wonder how come I was so lucky to find someone like that and keep him :)

Enjoy the weekend WYorks :) I shall be doing a bit of shopping in DP Leeds then, we are up there soon :) Our DP doesn't have much in the way of matty clothes.

Slept better last night. Visiting a friend this afternoon who I haven't seen for a while, but she has a little one, will be good to catch up and have a baby hug :) Then tomorrow going to a wedding party :)

nannyl · 20/05/2011 16:01

Hello everyone
JBells i have added you in facebook with a massage saying its me!

100 hope you feel better today. Enjoy time with your friend and baby cuddles

bebe your cakes look amazing as usual. Smile Hope foot / eye are feeling better.

WW, I got most of my maternity stuff on ebay. I have 3 pairs of jeans (next, mamas and papas and mother care,) The mothercare ones are my favourite as they dont fall down as often. My friend got through 2pairs of jeans from dotty P as after a few weeks they BOTH broke, so i 'unrecommend' them on behalf of her!
I have a lovely skirt from JoJo (99p ebay bargain) and a lovely dress from JoJo for a £1 or 2 from NCT sale. Got a couple of "as new" maternity tops from next, from ebay (99p + postage) but most of my casual tops are size 16 from primark, (Im normally a 12) (about £2 each). Im not sure if they will last until 40 weeks, but will be mostly ok i think. Also have a top from blooming marverlous from NCT £1, and a JoJo breast feeding and maternity top (from NCT for 50p) & an H&M mama top
Got some bump bands and really really comfy jogging bottom type trousers (New!) from Asda, will get some more of those jogging bottoms, I expect i will live in them for the 1st few days after birth. I think they were £8 and i highly recommend them. I have a maternity jumper from NewLook. Size 16 but the smallest size 16 maternity top in the world, not sure it will fit in a months time, its tight now! Otherwise i have 2 (non maternity) jumpers that still fit.... and thats my whole entire wardrobe at the moment! Oh and pretty Non maternity dress from Asda which im sure will be fine until baby is born.
I have trawled Medow Hall in Sheffield and not really found much i like... it seems to me like everything is black / white / grey / beige and i prefer brighter colors. In all honesty In my opinion, the best maternity selection is on ebay!

AC sorry to hear about your ebay hassels Sad how annoying

WYorks have fun in London.

Not much news here..... have spent today making lists of things to do in June / July / Augast (and frightening myself with how much does NEED to be done in not that much time) and just pottering and getting on with boring bits n bobs (washing / ironing etc) in the house.
This weekend, no hugely exciting plans... going to NCT sale that we tried to go to last weekend but got the date wrong.Blush Grin
Off to get bread machine to make home made pizza for dinner now.

hope everyone has a lovely weekend

AmandaCooper · 20/05/2011 19:17

If you are friends with JBells, find me in her friends list. My (admittedly bizarre) profile pic is a cartoon of a baby playing with matches in front of a petrol pump (old university joke reference) and my initials are JS.

Message from the seller:

"I would reimburse you however I didn't ever agree to the courier being booked so it doesn't seem fair to me. I would always consult someone before booking a courier to collect from them."

OP posts:
bebejones · 20/05/2011 22:05

The cheek!!! Shock A sale is a sale. Did it say on the sale description when they had to be collected? (I know sometimes it says please collect on/by) Had they taken payment from you & then refunded it?

100years · 20/05/2011 22:09

Blinking heck AC :( Hope you do get it sorted out. Oh and I've added you on FB.

Had a lovely time visiting my friend, her LO puked on me :) He's 13 weeks old :) That's fine, she apologised and I said don't worry!

She did the ring gender test on me, and it came out as BOY!!! As does my Chinese gender prediction thing, so... Well we will find out in a few months, but I do feel more boy than girl if that makes any sense. I was really expecting to see a little boy thing (aka penis) when we had the scan last month, but obviously 'he' was too active to let us know. OH thinks it's all a load of rubbish, I've not told him it came up as boy. There are a few other things, like my hair is fab, I look better than I did, apparently they point to boy too. AND the wool shop sent me the wrong wool, it was supposed to be pink, cream and blue, they sent cream, white and blue, so I reckon the wool shop woman was subconsciously hinting at boy!!! LOL I'll probably be ALL wrong. But I'll here at this point in time state the fact I reckon LO is a boy. Now for a 14wk + 6 day wait to find out if I am right!!!
