Good morning all.
Wonder how Jbells is doing? Probably a mummy now Smile

bebe hope you had a nice day with your Mum

WYorks well done for getting on with the nursery. Hope you slept well last night too & enjoy your countdown to ML

100 what a lovely idea to make a blanket! (I wouldnt have a clue where to start!) Hope you also slept well. (My dream geni has a leg bit too and it makes such a difference")

waves to Mrs, SWI, squirrel, quod and AC

I dont have a housefull of stuff, but i did have a cupboard full of random bits and pieces which needed to go to make room for baby stuff, so got rid of most to bin / charity shop / ebay. Its the only hanging space long enough for my pretty dresses so Im thinking even when baby is here, those things will have to stay there anyway.

I had a productive day yesterday... i finally after months years of saying i must, backed up my laptop (onto the external hard drive the OH got me for Xmas). Also spoke to Dads solicitors, got hotel booked for July wedding, packed and posted ebay stuff, made a chilli, did the iroing, had a long phone catch up with my friend. Today, nothing hugely exciting..... aqua natal followed by Sainsburys!

Hope everyone else has a good day and cant wait to here what Jbells has to say when she has time to update us!

I can't believe that the Upduffeds outnumber the waiters/TTcers

AmandaCooper · 17/05/2011 17:41

Oh bother I have another job interview. The timing is crap.

OP posts:
MrsSatsuma · 17/05/2011 17:55

Please let me join them soon! Expecting AF tomorrow.... again.... think FF got my ovulation wrong this month. If I disregard my temps from when I was ill, I reckon I OVd around 20th (see chart, which would fit with my usual (from what I can gather so far) and confirm that my luteal phase is indeed ridiculously short...

AmandaCooper · 17/05/2011 18:47

It doesn't look great, MrsS. I wouldn't say you were definitely out of the running this month, but if you do get AF tomorrow I'd start thinking about what you could do to spin out your luteal phase a bit. Acupuncture is something you consistently hear great things about on this forum.

I wonder what was going on around day 11 though, you had EWCM for a couple of days. But your temperatures were all over the shop. What do the Charters think?

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 17/05/2011 18:57

Also is there any reason why you are missing a load of temps around CD11?

OP posts:
nannyl · 17/05/2011 19:43

Mrs S... One of my friends who has been trying for years and years, recently Aug 2010 started taking angus cactus (sp). Her luteal phase was short and it really helped her her.

Sadly she had a miscarriage at first but is now 14 weeks pg. Smile Perhaps you could try that... it worked for her, when so many investigations had led to and found nothing.

She raves about it and it worked for her.

AC fab to see your wait to try is nearly over Smile

still wondering how JBells is doing

squirrel007 · 17/05/2011 20:07

It's good that you are so sure what you want nannyl, and it sounds like you've done a lot of research!

I have to say that a homebirth has never appealed to me - don't quite know why. I think I'm worried about it being messy and having to clear up!! Plus I don't want the neighbours to hear Blush Probably a good job though as it looks like I've developed gestational diabetes (even though I have none of the risk factors Angry) so I have to go into hospital for monitoring during labour now. I quite fancied the MLU, but I don't think that's possible with GD.

bebe I hope Mr B is treating you better now? And is your leg feeling any better?

100years sorry to hear you're struggling with pains. I've heard that physio can be good, if you catch it early enough. I know the being pumped up feeling though! Every so often I feel like that, and it's really strange.

wyorkslass great that you are almost on maternity leave!!

Hi to everyone else! Got to go and eat now - DH is cooking me a lovely (low-carb) dinner Grin

jbells · 17/05/2011 20:53

squirrel007 · 17/05/2011 20:57

Congratulations jbells!! :) hope you have a quick recovery

nannyl · 17/05/2011 21:43

Congratulations JBells

Hope you feel better very soon, and you are the 1st WIIT person to become a Mummy.

MrsSatsuma · 17/05/2011 22:22

Hooray for jbells! Congratulations!! Hope pain goes very quickly.

AC I was ill CD 9-13 so I missed one temp and have disregarded two temps, as when I was ill again this weekend (joy!) my temperature shot up again so I'm fairly sure these were false alarms - that and the fact that it didn't stay up afterwards. I'll post on charters and see what they think - just feel like I'm taking advantage as I can only keep up on one thread so can't contribute lots to that one!

bebe hope your leg is better? When are you seeing doctor?

nannyl thanks for the tip, I'll look into it :)

[waves to everyone else and will catch up soon but must go as MrS has bad headache and needs looking after!]

Quodlibet · 17/05/2011 22:34

Congratulations Jbells! Welcome Luca John!

MrsS, it does say in TCOYF that for some women, they don't show a clear thermal shift at OV, even though they are still ovulating. Maybe that's the case for you? Would OV sticks be worth a go to see if you can get any more info? (sorry I'm pretty clueless too!)

AmandaCooper · 17/05/2011 22:36

That's the norm with the charters thread though I think, once you've been charting for months (hopefully not) you'll be the one giving the advice, but everyone has to start somewhere. If I do start TTC I'm definitely going to join that thread. I think it's really interesting.

How long is it you've been trying for now? 6 months?

Congratulations to JBells and baby Luca. Can't wait to see a photo and hear the birth story! What does DD make of it all?

MrsS hope you get lucky soon and something helps. x

Squirrel, sorry to hear you might have GD. I have a GTT next week due to my weight, no other factors involved, and have not so far put any weight on, the test was arranged automatically. Got the midwife this afternoon so will be asking her about my pains, which I still have.

Congratulations jbells :)

Been to visit a friend, who I have known for 10 years, was lovely to see her and her family, she has 2 daughters who are about the same age as me, the eldest one had a baby last year, so I got to meet her granddaughter :) AS I said, off to midwife soon. really enjoying my week off work :)

bebejones · 18/05/2011 15:06

Sorry this is going to be self indulgant post!

Eye is so bad now I can only see properly (ie not double vision/blurred) when things are about 3ft in front of me or closer or I have one eye closed! Really fed up! Feet don't appear to be getting worse, but my eye problem is throwing my balance off completely & I keep walking into stuff as my peripheral (sp?) vision is non existant on the right. SUCKS! Pretty soon I'm going to be housebound as I just don't feel safe going outside on my own even if I'm walking! :(

Plus I have a sneaking suspicion that even though my feet/MS isn't that bad now it may be getting there. I have never felt so fatigued before. I can barely function. I have zero concentration & just don't feel like doing anything. Getting up in the mornings is horrendous.

Really f'ing fed up! Angry Sorry to rant. And I will catch up properly later. Just can't take it all in right now & needed to get all that off my brain! When DD is in bed I shall be back as I won't have a small child climbing up my leg & shouting in my face!!

100years · 18/05/2011 15:54

Oh bebe, sorry to hear that :( Poor thing.
