Hello everyone!
Sputnik: Happy Birthday!!! Hope you are having a lovely day and that dd is starting to feel better with the help of the AB.
Cellini, sounds like you have found some new friends
!
I agree in gently introducing ds to the Italian language before he starts materna. Any sort of activity will do, I am certain. Plus, I'd try him on some TV programs in Italian. You'll find all the English programs translated in Italian on Sky, or you can get him some Pimpa dvds.
When we were living in the UK (we spoke italian at home) I "threw" mine at nursery when they were about 1 yr old, because it seemed to me the best way for them to learn English. Mind you, they were in an English environment anyway, because English was spoken everywhere, when I took them to the doctor's, spoke with neighbours etc etc, therefore they picked it up quite easily (dd more so than ds, who started to speak at 2!!!)
Gio, are you still in M.?
So utterly fed up with winter, it's so cold, I don't want to leave the house until May!
