Welcome aboard.

The first rule of the tea room is - No fisticuffs.
The second rule is - Put the kettle on and lets have a Brew or open a bottle of Wine if its that time of day. Pull a sofa and relax. Parents of one, more (or less) children are welcome to hop on board and chat about anything and nothing. Introduce yourself if new and if you name change give us clue please.

The female Camp Director (aka: Mom) has just shown me Toddler's stash of presents (the ones that have arrived so far, that is). What a lucky boy he is! Mean Girl is just grumpy. She was born that way -- with a my-way-or-the-highway attitude. I take it with a pinch of salt.

We're off to Hershey and Lancaster (for the outlets) tomorrow. Grin

JM -- Yes, opened the package today and it's fab! Grin Thanks

Jacksmania · 15/11/2011 03:34

Oh good! I've been so nervous hoping you'd like it! If there's anything you want changed I can easily do that, or make you something different. But I hope it'll look good with whatever you end up buying for the wedding!

Thumbwitch · 15/11/2011 03:36

Oh JM! Tove Jansson's Finn Family Moomintroll - a fabulous children's story!
My favourites were the twins Thingumy and Bob, and their habit of transposing the first sounds on words in a phrase. "Pot a wity" is and always will be my favourite Grin

CMOTdibbler · 15/11/2011 08:10

The Moomintrolls are amazing, and I am off to but the cd immediatly. There is a whole Moomin shop at Helsinki airport, so my mum (who adores them) has a whole assortment of Moomin things.

DS loves our one Barbapapa book that remains from my childhood, and I haven't been able to find anymore

heh heh at list and procrastinating - the curse of my life! I am rubbish at getting stuff done Blush
I'll have an iced chocolate since you're offering, UniS - still needs the kettle for the creation of liquid chocolate before adding all the milk/icecream/cream - should take a while and occupy another several minutes of your time Wink

UniS · 15/11/2011 10:17

One iced chocolate coming up, with a flake and extra sprinkles.

Brew

Have tackle 3 of the 4 and done one extra. :)
have added a few more to teh list too :(

I'm very good at procrastinating!

Soup anyone? MC's been cooking again....

Thumbwitch · 15/11/2011 13:12

Lovely! lewd rolls all round :)

CMOTD - I am feeling a touch foolish - I saw your post on the questions for the skin bloke and didn't realise it was that thread you'd posted on, so put a suggestion for you - I wasn't trying to be smart, I just thought for some reason that you'd posted it in this thread so thought I'd answer! Just ignore me on the other thread please. I thought about getting my post deleted but then realised it might help someone who does get burnt so left it. Sorry! Blush

UniS - well done! that's a good start and thank you for the iced chocolate with extras Grin

Am feeling rather disgusting/ed at the moment - just seen some photos of myself at Playgroup this morning, sitting down. EVEN WORSE than the ones from a few weeks back where I was standing up. Currently very miserable about it. But - where there is a will, there's a way - we should be starting badminton next week, with a bit of luck - and the exercise will help me a lot. Plus I have to get rid of the chocolate habit (the hardest thing :() Wish me luck!

mistlethrush · 15/11/2011 13:15

TW - I can join you in being fed up. Hate photos of me at the moment... although I am moving slowly in the right direction - trousers 2 sizes below what they were, although they're still a little snug.

Thumbwitch · 15/11/2011 13:21

Oh well done, MT! I haven't gone down at all since I had the gastric virus, which was probably last October? only up. I have never had much success with attempting to lose weight - but I need to now. :(
Keep going, sounds like you're doing a grand job. :)
