Some have been calling it the Mumsnet election, so we want to know what you think - whether you'll bother to go and vote at all, and which political leader ticks your box.

This survey is open to every Mumsnetter in the UK. We will be repeating this survey regularly between now and the election, so please look out for it again. We'll be asking about topical issues in future surveys, too.

Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 in Boden or Amazon vouchers.

Thanks and good luck!

You HAVE to enter your username and email in order to do the survey - can you change this? Lots of people won't feel it's anonymous

You don't have to put your name or email, you can put "wibble wibble" but I normally give up if surveys require this as I'm really lazy

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 04/02/2010 14:43

All done, do we know what it's being used for? [nosey] I'd have thought it would be very useful if it had abit more Qs, but then I am just assuming I know what it's sort of for.

It does seem just a leetle bit cheeky to ask for that info and not say what you will be using it for.

There are so many surveys on MN these days, so many peopl trying to extract and manipulate opinions, that it can start to feel like we are all doing our chatting down at the deep dark face of a data mine.

HelenMumsnet · 04/02/2010 14:55

Hello again.

The username/email collection is just so we have your details to put into the prize draw (and contact you if you win).

We have absolutely no intention of linking your username to your declared voting intentions IN ANY WAY.

Username: Leningrad

Wereworm · 04/02/2010 15:00

I'm sure it's all anonymous, etc. but it would be nice to know what it is for -- how will use the info and who you might give/sell it to.

The following survey is open to all MNHQ employees. All entrants will be added to a prize draw and the winner will receive a fruitshoot.

When we get the info about MN voting intentions we will ...

(a)Write a humorous post about it to start a jolly thread
(b) Tout it around in press releases to try and get on the telly and in the papers
(c) Give it to party campaigners to save them hanging around on MN doing their own data-mining
(d) Other

That's perhaps the best way of getting the info I want.

HelenMumsnet · 04/02/2010 15:16

Not ignoring you, Wereworm.

But have to be sure of the facts before posting an answer to your Qs. Please bear with us for a bit...
