Lovely texture, not overly pureed. All new flavors than what he is used to eating at home. I added one to some small pieces of pasta for a bit of extra bulk for him, loved it.

She hadn't been interested in most baby food, which was why I was keen to try these. She really liked the strong flavours, especially the laksa.

Laksa, Korma and Vegetable Koshari.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

They were very different flavours from other brands out there. Baby really liked the laksa, though we found it a little bland in comparison to the other two.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

Loved the colours. Brand name much bolder than the flavour of the pouch - would make the meal’s name much more obvious.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

Anything more ‘exotic’ than the other big or supermarket own brands can make. Would like a next stage pouch too with more chunks.

Korma, Laksa and Sambar

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

My 10 month old loves different flavours and spices in her dinner so I really hoped she would enjoy these. Rather than give out of the pouch, I warmed and put it onto her plate like I would normally but I just felt the textures were too smooth and therefore she turned her nose up at them a little. She would take maybe one or two spoons of all but wasn't devouring it as much as she would if it were a homemade dish with rice/veg/other bigger chunks. They smell delicious and I did try a tiny bit of everything, but I definitely think they would benefit from being less blended

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

Whilst they look like other baby food pouches, they do have a more exotic look and I feel they're more premium looking

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

Maybe some other world cuisines with bigger flavours like Chinese, Thai, Jamaican etc to be different from the blander flavours found with other baby pouches

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Tom Yum, Sambar, Koshari
  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I found the flavours to be there, eventually, sometimes they came as a bit of an after taste. My daughter was not keen at all on the pouches, she weaned via baby led weaning so was introduced to all flavours and textures from the beginning. She is a brilliant eater and eats everything, all sorts of flavours, so I was surprised when she didn't want more! I found there to be hardly any texture in the pouches, which surprised me considering they are marketed to 7months+. Having read the ingredients on the packaging all pouches contained mostly water, which reiterated my choice on using the baby led weaning method with my daughter. That said of course these pouches would be handy in an emergency or whilst travelling.
  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I think if I was in the market for food pouches this packaging would make me look twice, it is attractive, colourful and looks different to others.
  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I think its not so much the flavours that need to be improved its the texture of the produce in the pouch.
