  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

I had the laksa, the korma and the vegetable sambar
  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

Good variety of flavours that I hadn’t seen elsewhere so she hadn’t tried them before. It was nice to give her different flavours rather than the same few options on the meals where I’m using something ready made
  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

Easy to store and pack for travel. Easy to open and decant into a bowl for meal time. The design is cute and the colours do stand out. They do look different to other pouches that are available
  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I would like to maybe see some Spanish flavours as I think there is a lot of Italian/pasta based meals and a lot of the rice based meals seem to be a korma and that’s it so maybe some kind of variation on paella or something? Not sure if that’s possible!

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried? Good flavour but wasn’t too overwhelming/ over powerful with spices.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket? Packing was fine. Don’t have any opinions good or bad for it.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range? Not sure- katsu curry maybe.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Laksa, Bahia, Tom Yum

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

They were different. I liked the smell of the spices as they smelt like adult meals instead of something basic like a single fruit or vegetable. I thought they'd be too adult or different but my baby liked them too and ate each one easily and quickly.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I thought the packaging was colourful and fun. I like the theme of meals from around the world. I think it would stand out in the supermarket.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

It would be nice to see desserts too from around the world as your range is just savoury. Most other baby food tends to do common dishes such a spag bol, cottage pie etc so it'd be good to see more from different parts of the world, so Asia, Caribbean islands, Latin America or Africa. Even some European meals could work like Paella as you don't see them done in baby food.

Thank you!

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Lanka, sambar and I forgot the last one sorry. I think it was the one with salmon in.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I liked the uniqueness of them. I think my child needed more time with them. She found them hard to get to grips with.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

Packaging was cute, liked the colours and a bit different to the others out there. I think if I was looking at them on the shelf they might blend in a little too much. If you've been travelling these are gunna be a hit, otherwise parents might feel a little unsure about them.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

Malaysian foods are the best, more of those. Indian flavours, Thai would be good too.

Laksa and Salmon Bahia, sadly we didn't get 3 flavours.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

The food smelt lovely, different to the samey foods currently available on the market. Baby loved the salmon bahia!

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

The packaging was bright and fun, it would stand out against some brands.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I think the current range is great, given how much baby liked the salmon bahia perhaps some more fish dishes. It would also be good to see a range for 1 year plus with added texture.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Bahia Stew, Vegetable Koshari and Tom Yum

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived, having expected another blend of fruits/vegetables! It was great to introduce some different flavours and textures early in the weaning process (our son is 7 months). We hadn’t even heard of the stew or curry, and some Googling led us to make an adult version of the Brazilian stew.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I really liked the softer design and muted colours – most baby things are so bright! And the bright font would stand out and grab our attention with the unusual flavours.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

More vegetarian options would be great. We’re really open to trying new flavours from different countries – Korean is a particular favourite in our kitchen at the moment, so I’d love to see more options from there or wider Asia on the shelves. It saves making a baby version of our own meals, which can be tricky when keeping salt out.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

We tried the Korma, Laksa and Koshari.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I liked the varied and flavoursome recipes, it was refeshing to see something different. I also loved that the chicken was halal as we are Muslims, although this was not clearly advertised.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I liked the bright and fun design, although to be fair many brands use bright colours so I am not such they really stand out. They do look like there is a real brand identity though, which is nice.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I would have loved to try the Bahia as it seems delicious. I think it's a nice mix of recipes, maybe sweet or breakfast flavours would be an interesting addition.

  1. We tried Korma, Tom Yum and Laska.

  1. Laska - my son was really unsure about this one at first, but after a couple of spoons he kept opening his mouth for more and more. It was the quickest he ate out of all of them! He enjoyed it the most. I could tell he absolutely loved all the flavours packed into the pouch.

Tom Yum - he kept smacking his lips together saying "mmm" and moving the food around his mouth really taking in all of the flavours. Fair to say he loved it!
Korma - he kept pointing to have more in between spoonfuls which was really nice to see. Again, wasn't keen at first but once he got a good taste he was loving it. Nice texture and his first taste of spices. It's a winner.

  1. I do like ghe packaging, but the small print at the top on the front where it shows where the cuisine is inspired from, I would like to see this much bigger as it would take my interest a lot more if I saw it in a shop.

  1. I'd love to see a fajita one!

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Veg Koshari, Veg Sambar, and Salmon Tom Yum

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

Loved the idea of new flavours, new cuisines - both us parents are really into food and flavours from around the world. I think my son liked the taste of the Tom Yum the most, but given his age (14 months) the food wasn't quite chunky enough for him, and I needed to mix it with something (i.e. brown rice). I liked the spices and flavours but I think they could be even more pronounced. He has food intolerances, and I liked that we were able to eat all of these without any issues.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I liked the look, cute but tasteful, and my son definitely wanted to grab the pouch and look at it - I think it was the kid's face that did it for him!

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I could imagine something Moroccan-inspired/North African, or Caribbean.

I was a bit inconvenient heating it up in a pan of water.

4. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?
Thai flavours - green curry, pad Thai. Or, honestly, meals that I haven't heard of would be best, but obviously I can't recommend them as I don't know about them!

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

Not so much flavours, it would definitely try some toddler meals in the same flavours - my baby is now 11m so we are getting away from using pouches regularly so would be nice to see the next stage on in meals.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

We were lucky enough to try the Laska, Korma and Bahia pouches. Having tried them myself I can vouch that they well and truly pass the taste test - really delicious and a nice texture.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

The pouches we tested were full of flavour, spices and gentle warmth and proved really appealing to my 10 month old who gladly finished the whole pouch each time. A great introduction to a more sophisticated range of flavour experiences and a change from the more standard fare of shepherd’s pie, roast chicken dinner etc.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I found the packaging was fine but not notable - it wouldn’t jump out at me on a supermarket shelf. I think the halal status should also be made clearer on the packaging.

Mediterranean inspired foods, moroccan dishes, greater range of curries.
