  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Vegetable sambar, vegetable koshari, Tom yum

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I liked that these were world foods that I don’t often eat myself so good to introduce my baby to new flavours. They also are healthy. He seemed to like all of them (he isn’t a fussy eater so enjoys almost everything).

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

Much like other pouches, colourful and easy for travel

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

Not sure

Sambar, Tom yum, and korma

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I liked the international flavours and tried all of them myself. They were good. The child wasn't a big fan but I wasn't surprised. It isn't the brand's fault but mine. We had done very well with Ella's in their more international flavours and then I stupidly gave him a fruity one- so he only wanted fruity sachets but would happily eat a real curry or whatever we eat.

I found he liked sambar best, then korma and then Tom yum.

If he didn't want a savoury pouch which is our new norm, I'd make toast soldiers and put the sachet as a spread which usually works. So I'd still consider savoury pouches for nights we are eating something unhealthy and not toddler friendly.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

It was cute. I don't know if anything would make it stand out more or less.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try? Salmon Bahia, Vegetable Koshari & Laksa

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried? Can't say exactly what he like but he definitely loved the flavours. I was quite impressed by the variety of spices in them.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket? It was pretty standard packaging. Compared to other brands the pouch colours are muted so might not be the first to be seen but I scour shelves to find exact what I'm looking for anyway.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range? It's quite a good selection already and makes a change from stews and pasta. Maybe a tagine

Korma, Tom yum and laska

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I loved the fact they’re inspired by different parts of the world and she loved all the flavours! So refreshing to have a different variety than the usual “ready” brands
  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I think they’re really nice colours but perhaps a different character on each flavour might be nice! I think they look and feel more expensive than other brands
  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I can’t think of any immediately but I’d definitely buy other flavours to try in future

  1. Bahia Salmon, Korma and Vegetable Koshari

  1. They smelt appetising. I liked that the dishes feature strong different flavours, however there was not enough texture for my child. It worked better as a sauce on a meal with rice.

  1. The packaging looks more premium than most other pouched baby food. However most have green tops, would say this is a disadvantage to standing out.

  1. Biriani - could do veggie, chicken, fish etc

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Korma, Tom Yum, Laksa
  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

That they were something different compared to the flavours that are more commonly seen in the shops. Glad that she could have something a bit more exotic, and similar to the types of things I like to eat.
  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket? Packaging was fine and something I would choose. The designs were nice but I’m not sure they would stand out, mainly because most baby food I can think of that’s similar to this is brightly coloured too.
  2. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range? Anything inspired by other countries, with a range of spices to add depth. Maybe something with more texture to extend the range.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Tom Yum, Laksa, Korma

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I loved the idea of my baby trying a wider variety of flavours and dishes and being introduced to mild spices instead of just eating spiced dishes I’d cooked slathered in Greek yoghurt! Unfortunately he didn’t seem to like any of the pouches and didn’t finish any of them. Perhaps they were too bland/ lacking in texture as he’s over a year and used to chewing ‘real’ food.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I liked the packaging as it clearly stated what was inside but it didn’t stand out from other similar products.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I think pouches containing fish would be good as I haven’t yet convinced my baby to eat salmon or tuna although he loves a cod fish finger!

1.Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?
Vegetable koshari, Tom yum and salmon Bahia

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

My baby really liked the vegetable koshari, as did my toddler who finished off what she had left in the bowl! All the flavours were distinct and detectable without being overly strong, they were more interesting than foods we usually chose which are quite plain.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I liked the colours being a bit richer and darker than you sometimes see, I think they would stand out. I do worry about too much single use packaging but I think these can be recycled so that's good.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I would like some middle Eastern flavours, or anything really, it's nice to find some more interesting food choices like this.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

My 10 month old was very keen on the kochari in particular - he's quite reluctant to be spoon fed as prefers to feed himself finger foods but he was very compliant when eating this!

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I like the visual design, however I wish the squeeze pouches were replaced with something more easily recycled.

  1. We tried Vegetable Koshari, Tom Yum and Vegetable Sambar.

  1. My baby really enjoyed the variety and trying new flavours that he’d not had before. He liked the texture too. His favourite was the Tom Yum but he ate them all!

  1. We liked the packaging as it’s colourful and it is easy to identify which dish from the different colours of each pouch. Quite a lot of text on the reverse so not sure if things like any allergens might get a bit lost?

  1. Other flavours we’d like to see are some Caribbean or Middle Eastern options. More fish/salmon would be good too.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Bahia, Laksa and Sambar

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I liked that they were very diverse - different spices and flavours that we wouldn't perhaps think to offer on a regular basis. Unfortunately my son didn't enjoy the bahia or the laksa, but he loved the sambar. I felt they were far too smooth for a 13 month old though - he is used to lumpier textures now and it's a shame there isn't an age range that would suit him more.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

The packaging was perfectly fine, however I don't feel it would necessarily stand out on the shelf amongst other baby food packaging. The name isn't particularly unique or memorable either. For convenience, the screw top lid works well.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I can't think of anything that particularly stands out to me. More Chinese, Japanese or Thai flavours would be great though as I can't think of any other baby food brand who offers this.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Korma, Sambar and Tom Yum for age 7+ months.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

My baby loved the flavours. They are foods that I wouldn't have the confidence to cook myself so it was nice he got to experience something I can't cook.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

Very pretty packaging and would stand out on a shelf.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I'd be interested in breakfast type foods from around the world to give him a bit of variety from porridge and weetabix.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Vegetable Koshari, Tom yum & Bahia salmon

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

As pescatarians I really liked the flavour options as they sounded so different from other baby pouches we have tried in the past, usually we are limited on flavours to pick but with this brand there was plenty to choose from. I liked that two of the pouches contained salmon as well as it helped me feel like my little one was getting her omega 3. My daughter ate more of these pouches than she has ever ate of previous pouches we tried so she clearly liked the flavours. My three year old also finished off the vegetable Koshari pouch and said it was yummy. Both my husband and I tried a little bit of each pouch and they did taste good.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I didn't notice the packaging particularly, I guess I felt it was similar to other food pouches that are on shelves. It didn't particularly stand out to me.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

Maybe more vegetarian options. More flavours from around the world. Keep up the good work Oliver's Cupboard!

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try? Laksa, Tom Yum and Vegetable Kashari.

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried? That they were quite mild. None of these are foods I would try as I don’t like spicy foods, yet the Laksa tasted lovely and most surprisingly my baby ate it without a fuss! She wasn’t keen on the other two though.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket? I don’t particularly like the designs but they do stand out well on a shelf. They definitely stood out to my daughter as she chose them from our food cupboard herself over the pouches she prefers.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range? The range seems ok as it is and I haven’t looked to see what the full range is. My baby really loves Chinese style food so maybe something that incorporates that if there isn’t already something.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

It was bright and colourful, standing out but I would prefer an easier to recycle product.

  1. Which flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard baby food did you try?

Sambar, laksa and bahia

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

I liked the fact that they're different from anything else on the supermarket shelf. I would definitely pick this up due to the unique flavours. Unfortunately, I have a VERY picky eater and he only truly enjoyed the laksa (which in itself is an achievement!) However, he did tolerate about 5 spoonfuls of the other flavours which is a lot better than some of the other brands we've tried.
  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I liked the illustration on the pouch. It would stand out to me as it's not just a basic two tone design like some of the others.

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I would like to see some more flavours which incorporate squash and pumpkin, purely because I know my 9 month old will eat anything with squash and I'm keen for him to try new flavours such as the ones olivers kitchens have brought out

  1. What did you and your child like most about the flavours of Oliver’s Cupboard you tried?

My child really enjoyed all of the meals and clearly enjoyed the new and interesting flavours. I liked the fact that the meals were strongly flavoured and very different from anything I could cook at home or from other baby food brands. I think it is great for babies to eat a varied diet with new and different flavours and nutrients and feel this will help make my child a healthy and adventurous eater as she grows.

  1. What did you think of the packaging of each pouch? Would this stand out to you on a shelf in the supermarket?

I loved the packaging´s bright colours and food designs. It also has a real stand out appeal to a child on a supermarket shelf due to the cartoon child and their big eyes, quite appealing to an adult looking for baby food also!

  1. What other flavours would you like to see in the Oliver’s Cupboard range?

I would love to see some recipes with white fish and small oily fish such as mackerel or sardines rather than only salmon. I have some reservations about salmon due to the accumulated pollution risk in large oily fish but think fish is a great, healthy and underused ingredient in baby food normally.

However I really don’t like pouches. They are not easy to recycle and I think a glass jar with label is much more sustainable and my preference.
