1. What was your/your child's favourite thing about the socks?

How soft they were, super comfortable. My son's absolutely loved them, thinks they are the best socks ever! Because of how comfortable he found them, I also tried them and they are seriously comfortable and soft socks!

Great, easy to recycle.

Easy to use, I've already ordered some in black so my son can wear them to school.

Nothing at all, thought they were perfect.

I think there is a good selection of socks. maybe some socks for wearing with walking boots/wellingtons.

He loved the colour (bright red!) and also how soft they were.

It would be nice to have some thicker socks too if these were available

Patterned socks would be good and maybe also a knee high version for school

We tested these socks for my son who is 9 and has SEN including some sensory sensitivities. He really liked them, finding them soft and warm.

They are so soft! It's like my feet are sausages in a pan (I quote)

I did find it a bit hard to navigate - especially when I tried to select by size/age.

They are great as they are - very soft and warm.

It would be GREAT to have a range of coloured toe/heel school socks as these are so much easier to use for multiple children in school socks, that way they can each have their own set.

Good, eye catching, recyclable and not too big.

How easy they were for DS to put on and get off independently.

Great - minimum plastic and recyclable cardboard and envelope.

Haven’t visited it.

I was surprised at how much they ‘bobbled’ (aka pilled) after just one wear so if they could be made more resistant to that without adding plastic to the material composition that would be good! I would also like the size to be clearly marked inside the sock (e.g. 9 - 12).

I haven’t looked on the website but DS commented that the plain red socks we got were ‘boring’. Anything with patterns, stripes and animals/dinosaurs/monsters is more likely to be appreciated!

How easy they were to put on. Very stretchy.

Totally fine.

It would be nice to have some fun designs and different colours.

Dinosaur, animal, smiley designs.

Very soft, not tight on leg/ankle.

Paper package, easy to recycle.

No I haven't.

The colour we were sent was bright magenta which my daughter was not keen on. After just 1 wear and wash the material is very fluffy/worn looking.

1. Are there any additional colours or styles that you think would be a good addition to SOCKSHOP's range of kids' bamboo socks?good range of colours but perhaps a brown or green.

1. What was your/your child's favourite thing about the socks?

For my daughter; how soft the socks were and how comfortable the socks stayed after having been washed. She also loved the blue colour and typically she wouldn't wear pink HOWEVER she liked how the socks feel so much that the pink pairs were also worn!

I love the affordability and the fact that I now have socks that cause no issues for my daughter

The bag was brilliant, I loved the lack of plastic and recyclability.

I did, the website was easy to navigate.

No, the socks were great. I've had no tantrums over putting on socks and shoes!

1. Are there any additional colours or styles that you think would be a good addition to SOCKSHOP's range of kids' bamboo socks?

Yes, a larger range or colours and styles. Thicker socks would be lovely for the colder weather and a shorter style would be perfect for school.

I would also like the size to be clearly marked inside the sock (e.g. 9 - 12).
This would also help with the issue of having two children wearing the same type of sock.

The socks are incredibly soft and comfortable. It's usually quite hard to convince DS to put socks on but he didn't want to take these off.

Tbh I don’t really remember. Hate the little plastic tags as they left little holes in the fabric.

Yes, easy to navigate and a good selection. An enticement such as free postage if you spent x amount would encourage more buyers. Lots more types of socks on offer then I realised.

1. Is there anything about the socks that you would change?

The colour, bright red not very popular in our house. They are quite slippy so can’t be worn on floors but do make skidding across the kitchen more fun apparently 🙄. The socks did go a bit bobbly after several washes and the tops a little stretched but still so soft and cosy. They are the first ones DS reaches for in the morning. DD nicked a pair as she liked them so much and so did Granny who really struggles with finding comfortable socks (sensory issues are clearly genetic here).

1. Are there any additional colours or styles that you think would be a good addition to SOCKSHOP's range of kids' bamboo socks?

Maybe some patterns or days of the week. The kids options are very bright and some muted or packs of school colour socks would be good. The grown ups section has some patterns and colours. We didn’t like the red but the other colours on the website look lovely.

My son loved how soft the socks felt. He's quite fussy about seams over his toes and these didn't have any obvious ones. The packaging was simple and minimal which is good. I've become a bit obsessed about knee high socks for myself and have recently bought some from Sock Shop. It was easy to search on the website - filtering what I was looking for and I actually got a good deal. The colour I got in my son's socks was perfect for both school and home but I'd like some different patterns and perhaps longer ones for me. One of my older sons has now asked if I'd buy him some as they're so soft.

What was your/your child's favourite thing about the socks?

The boy lived that they didn't have any pointy bits (seams) and they were so soft.

Perhaps they could be thicker or offer a selection that is.

Anything pokemon /Minecraft but as a discrete extra so they could be worn ti school.

The boy loved them and wants to change all his socks to bamboo ones.

I’m not a tester, but I have to just add that these are my absolute favourite socks, I’ve got some more arriving today in fact.

10 year old has always had sock issues (no other sensory issues!) but he likes these. I love them too. No more scratchy socks that have lost their ‘give’.

1. DS said they were super soft and comfortable, not itchy and didn’t hurt his toes.
2. Packaging was fine, didn’t notice it really (but I would have, had it been excessive).
3. Yes - I wanted to see if there were warmer/thicker versions for winter. Site was easy to navigate, bright and clear on the eyes.
4. Hoping they will do winter versions but without sacrificing the softness of these!
5. As mentioned, hope there will be warmer versions although I’m not sure how you’d do that while keeping the bamboo make up of the socks. Maybe thicker weave?

Thanks to MN & Sockshop, I didn’t realise we’d be testing grey ones (or couldn’t recall if I’d req the colour) and DS has loved using ‘the nice ones!’ for school.

The lack of itchy seams and stitching.

Really robust packaging and good that it is recyclable.

Yes. Loved the Christmas range ! Site easy to use as expected.

Make them thicker and with a pattern rather than plain block colour. So easier to match!

Dinosaur / star / animal patterns are always a hit in our house. A choice of a thicker sock would be good too, these were quite thin and not great for winter wear

1. Are there any additional colours or styles that you think would be a good addition to SOCKSHOP's range of kids' bamboo socks? We received socks which were plain white and black. Bright colours would be lovely. My 3 year old like to have animals/images on her socks.

Definitely the softness, which remained after washing. She likes the length of them too and being able to pull them right up. We received plain white but she would love them even more if they were colourful!

The packaging was good and easy to recycle. I don't like the plastic tags on the socks which are fiddly to remove.

Yes, and I will definitely go back and order some more socks there. It was OK to use though a little bit confusing to navigate. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. My other children saw how soft they are so they want some too.

No, they are good socks!

Some more patterned ones would be good, but I like the range of colours. Thank you for letting us test them.

We had black socks which were great as she could use them for school. She loved how soft they were and her younger sister liked them so much, she stole some to wear too!

Not been on the website so don’t know what the range is like but a range of colours and patterns is always good.

1. Ds loved the socks, he loved how soft they were and said they were very comfortable. I’m hey wash great and since ds loves them I’ll be buying some more.
2. Packaging was great and not excessive, easy to recycle.
3. Easy to navigate website.
4. I wouldn’t change anything, my ds was happy so was I.
5. It would be great if some pattern styles were available, but a great range of plain colours.

My daughter LOVES these. She is eight and we have real difficulty with finding fabric, labels and seems that don’t irritate her. I would definitely buy more of these!!!

They didn’t itch or irritate her. She didn’t need to take them off at school and have bare feet in shoes.

I think it would be good to have some bright colours for weekends! Stripy socks or character socks would be nice.

Having had a quick look at the website there seems to be lots of choice of characters, vibrant colours and different patterns on the shocks. Maybe to add animal shapes or patterns.
