They're really easy to use - open the pouch, pour, forget about it until it's done. And they smell great!

The pulled pork wasn't too sweet, which was really good. It would go great on burgers. The beef & ale was really rich & flavourful.

Definitely - and already have. They're a good price, easy to use, very tasty. A great store cupboard staple.

Super easy to use and ingredients needed weren't too expensive or hard to buy. The smell is sensational.

Smelling them cooking for hours and the kids being able to help make them.

Yes, we only got our slow cooker at Christmas and rave about it all the time and this range is super easy and even quicker than doing it all from scratch ever time.

More vegetarian options, I appreciate the sauces themselves may be vegetarian but sometimes as a veggie it puts me off looking at them to find out

1. Squeeze in the sauce and go. No complicated steps, no faffing around, no huge lists of ingredients. Easy to stick in the slowcooker before heading off to work in the morning.

1. My 11 year old who is super fussy loved the pulled pork. She even prepared the meat in the slowcooker herself it was that easy to do.

1. Pulled pork yes as it was actually really nice. The chicken curry one, probably not as it was more like a spiced tomato chicken than a curry itself.

1. Things like sausage casserole, some more spicy curries and perhaps some lamb recipes.

So very easy to use - with the pulled pork it was literally just chuck everything into the cooker.

my children love the novelty of pulled pork - its a fun family meal.

i would recommend the pulled pork as it is so easy to use and it makes a fun family meal.

I cant recommend the beef and ale as the taste or rosemary overpowered the dish

I would be interested to see a chicken casserole or a chilli for use with chunks of beef not mince

Super easy to use and extremely tasty. Also really healthy - good ingredients and pretty low calorie per portion.

Yes, I already have to friends and family! I was amazed at how easy to use and tasty they are. Esp as you really don't need many other ingredients.

Creamy chicken (for things like chicken pie) and maybe a lamb tagine?

NB: My local supermarket is a big Tesco Extra, but they don't stock the Chilli Con Carne flavour, which is a real shame as I would've loved to try it. For ref, they are being sold at £1.50 full price, which I think is a good price-point.

Loved testing this product and I’ve always used homepride sauces and they are a favourite in the family for taste and easy ness.
They have vegan choices too.
So great all round for everyone’s taste.

Loved these, the beef and ale was delicious. Made cooking family meals in the week nice and easier. Would like to see more flavours added to the list

I tried the Beef & Ale Casserole and the Chicken Curry as they were the only ones I could get in my local Tesco. They were easy to use and the instructions were clear - though getting all the sauce out of the pack was a challenge; I eventually cut the pouch in half and used a silicone spatula to extract it!

My family enjoyed the Beef & Ale Casserole, but we all agreed that the Chicken Curry was far too sweet for our taste.

If the packaging was different I'd probably recommend the product more strongly but it was, as I mentioned, a real nuisance to empty and it can't be recycled - a tetrapak carton would seem to be a better solution than the awkward plastic pouch.

My husband and son both licked the bowl clean from the pulled pork, cannot rate the ease and taste enough as a quick slower cooker meal. By quick I mean lob it all in the slow cooker and 8 hours later a mouth watering meal 😋

Not really, we found them rather bland and tasteless. The chicken curry was very watery and despite smelling of lovely curry favours as it cooked, it just tasted of the tinned tomatoes.

A stronger flavour curry perhaps.

We really liked the idea of these pouches in theory and have never been disappointed by Homepride products in the past so it was a shame we didn’t like them.

I loved these products - very easy to use and very tasty. I thought the curry one was the nicest. Will definitely purchase again and look forward to trying the beef and ale one particularly. I would like to see a wider range of flavours such as an Italian base such as tomato based or for meatballs and a creamy chicken/pork. It would also be nice to see a gammon flavouring

Unfortunately it took so long to find these products that I only managed to get round to trying one of them - the Chilli con Carne.

1. I really liked the flavour and found the instructions easy to follow. It all came out the correct consistency which I can find hit and miss when left to my own devices!
2. Unfortunately the children wouldn't try the chilli, however DH and I enjoyed having two nights worth of dinners with it.
3. I'd definitely recommend, especially to my friends I know who have similar issues with correct liquids
4. I'd like to see something Chinese inspired and mexican inspired too, perhaps some more specific curries like jalfrezi or madras rather than just curry. Something that can be used with vegetables rather than meat too (although that could be more of a case of tweaking the recipes on the back to include veggie options).

I particularly liked the ease of use, specially the pulled pork which was so easy. Because it was so easy it made one of our favourite lockdown days. Set up the pulled pork (which took literally 5 mins) went for a long walk then came home to a delicious smell. Played games, knowing our evening meal would take minutes to allemble All loved it! Family's favourite thing was the delicious smell when we returned from a day out. I'd recommend pulled pork because it was full of flavour and so easy. I'd like to see sweet and sour.

1. I liked how easy it is to store these sachets, they take up minimal storage room, always a bonus for me where larder space is limited. The instructions were so straightforward and it was easy to get going quickly. I could only find Beef and Ale and Chicken Curry in my local Tesco but will keep searching for the others.
   

1. It was so quick to get an evening meal prepared and using the slow cooker meant I could get it ready in the afternoon and then forget about the meal, it's a great feeling. The family liked the flavour and all commented favourably on their meals.
   

1. I'd definitely recommend the Slow Cooker range to others, they're so easy to use, represent good value I think and can transform your time and help you enjoy making a meal rather than it being a chore.
   

1. Like another poster said some variations of curry would be good, we all know the sorts we like and something like Tikka Masala or Rogan Josh would be good. Some tagine options or some smoky bbq flavours would be welcome as well.

Another one here who could only get hold of beef and ale flavour. It was delicious though and like others, I thought the sauce was much thicker than usual slow cooker sauces which are often very watery.
I would recommend if people are stuck in a rut or want a different flavour with minimal prep. But wouldn’t be the cheapest way of eating.
Would love to see some flavours from other cuisines such as an oriental dish or some curries.

A nice thick strong tasting sauce which can be hard to achieve with a slow cooker. Dh loved the beef and ale and cleared his plate in no time.
