We loved the beef and ale flavour, but not so keen on the chicken curry which was a bit bland for us. Very easy to use though.

Easy to use no preparation needed, beef and ale was the favourite , have bought all the range would be nice to see one for just vegetables for vegetarians also bought parents some they love the beef and ale one best

After much hunting in my local Tesco's and the following week in Sainsbury's I was able to track down the Pulled Pork and Chilli sachets so we tested these.

1. What did you particularly like about the Homepride Slow Cooker Sauces?

I liked that there were very simple to follow instructions. No chopping or additional prep needed. I liked that I could just bung it all in the slow cooker without having to remember to go back an add anything later. Perfect for busy mornings.

1. What was your family's favourite thing about the Homepride Slow Cooker Sauces you tried?

My daughter complains about anything "spicy" so I was worried about the chilli, however she happily ate it and there was actually enough left over having fed a family of four to have for lunch the following day.

1. Would you recommend the Homepride Slow Cooker range to others? Why? It's a great shortcut option so I would recommend it to others for the occasional meal. Definitely something to have in the cupboard when you realise the locusts (children) have eaten what you had planned for dinner.

1. Which other flavours of Homepride Slow Cooker Sauces that you would like to see introduced? Totally agree with a sausage casserole suggestion from PP but would also love more vegetarian options. I really try to cut down on meat consumption so this would be really helpful.

Possibly. Though I have done beef in slow cooker previously, using own ingredients, so may also recommend a slow cooker recipe!

Question for those of you who tried the pulled pork one: I looked at the cooking instructions online (was unable to buy this one) and saw that the meat didn't required pre-browning, was surprised by this as thought that pork always needed browning...did it get cooked ok without browning?

I left a review earlier in the thread. That was for the chicken curry which we didn't like. But, I found the beef and ale variety in my local Sainsburys. I would buy that one again. Thick, rich and tasty.

They were very easy to make a tasty meal. Often when I’m using the slow cooker I want to throw everything in quickly in the morning before I get on with other things, the sauces were great for that.

I enjoyed the sauces that we tried but I cook similar things from scratch ( it just takes longer to prepare!). Id like to see flavours that I wouldn't normally make from scratch like chinese sauces or curries.

The ease of use, the affordability, still felt like I was making a home made meal, more like cutting a corner than cheating Great flavours, hoping they'll extend the range.

The depth of flavour and how it complemented the meat. The beef was especially tasty. We tried the beef and ale one and the chilli one as that was what was available in the supermarket.

I would recommend to family and friends who enjoy a good home cooked meal but sometimes struggle for ideas. The sauces are inexpensive and the range is good.

I'd like to see a sauce for a lamb dish as that's always good in the slow cooker, maybe a beef stroganoff too.

I love my slow cooker and these sauces were amazing. I would love to see a casserole version and spaghetti bolognese or a stroganoff version. I would definitely try new flavours in addition to adding the current flavours to my shopping list! Full of flavour and so easy to use and gives the family a great meal.

I tried the chicken curry and chilli con carne and they were both delicious. Very easy to use, they are a good price and would buy them again. I would like to see a sweet and sour one as it's a family favourite. I would recommend them to friends and family.

As you weren't able to use the vouchers online I hadn't been able to get any to try as have only been doing click and collect. I did manage to get a couple in Morrison's yesterday as I went in, so will be trying them ASAP!

I have now tried the Chicken Curry and it was just as easy as the Pulled Pork. I used mini chicken breast fillets rather than the thigh and a full 400g tin of tomatoes. All the family enjoyed it (2 adults, 6yo, 2yo) and although it wasn’t really spicy that suits the children and means it is a meal we can all eat. I would recommend it for anyone who is wanting to save time as it took less than 5 mins to prepare. When served with naan and microwave rice, it is a super quick meal.

Yes because of how easy it was, if people arn't used to slow cooking it could be a good start of a familar dish that is impossible to mess up.

I was only able to find beef and ale. I don't like beef so I made it with gammon and chicken. It tasted gorgeous with the shredded chicken, but very salty with the gammon.

I liked that it's just a case of pouring it in and leaving it to do its thing. We could only get one flavour and I wasn't looking forward to it when I smelled rosemary. But it was gorgeous.

I would recommend them if it was easy to find the other flavours.

I'd love to see mild chilli I know it's an option but I didn't see it in any of our shops, bolognaise, something to compliment gammon.

No. The packet was small, too thick and expensive for what it was.
