Testers please answer the questions below:
- Which Toomies Bath Toy did you test, and what was your initial impression of the toy?
We tested the octopals. I was initially struck by how big it was because of the green lilly pad bit.
- What did you or your child like or dislike about this toy?
DD liked the little figures but she's in a fixed bath chair so the green base was difficult for her to interact with as it was at arms length because of the front bar of her seat.
- Would you choose to purchase this bath toy over other bath toys in the future?
No, I like the little pals but they don't work as a cohesive toy in the way that the squeaky eggs toy, that presumably this replicates as a water-based version, does. Just a standard set of squirting bath toys would do the same job.
- Would you recommend Toomies Bath Toys to your friends and family based on your experience with this toy?
Not this one but they're well made, and the swirly / spiral octopals toy advertised on the side of our box looked interesting so I'd maybe buy that as a gift for a new parent.
- If you could add or change a feature what would it be?
Wall mount mum, and make her bigger so she can be used as the storage for the babies. For us, the green base added nothing to the experience. The figures are also a good toy for in the car, as they're so light and easy to hold, so maybe market them more widely than just as a bath toy.
