This is the feedback thread for the Mumsnet users with a child aged 6-24 months, who tested Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais. All selected testers were given vouchers to buy one of each of the following flavours:

• Little Yeos Strawberry & Raspberry Fromage Frais
• Little Yeos Strawberry & Peach, Apple & Pear Fromage Frais
• Little Yeos Raspberry & Apricot Fromage Frais

Very satisfied.

• Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.

Yes I would as they don't add sugar. But I probably wouldn't recommend them to use as first weaning foods -- stick to pure fruit and vege purees. But certaintly for use 1-2 months down the line.

• What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?

They were the perfect size for my baby -- but my older children gottheir hands on them and ate 2-3 in one sitting.

• Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?

Yes I would

• What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

Sugar free No additives/preservatives More fruit content

• If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?

Yes I would use as a first food for weaning -- add my own flavours i.e fruit purees or fresh fruit so could grow with baby. Might use in cereal too.

I really struggled to find them anywhere but little one loved them when I did. I tried one and actually found it quite bitter, but he didn't mind!

Maybe, but the sugar content seems fairly high.

The packaging is lovely. I found the taste quite sharp and bitter.

Probably not, sorry!

Less added sugar. He usually has Greek yoghurt with fruit.

Possibly. I'd add to fruit or to oats.

Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais? We were satisfied. Both children loved them and I liked that they weren’t bright pink!

Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not. Yes I think so. I’d like to look into the relative sugar contents but they were tasty and it’s nice that they are natural.

- Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again? Yes.

- What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often? Good offers. Assurance regarding natural ingredients and low sugar levels.

- If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it? Definitely. I’d use in recipes and would give as it comes, as well as with fruit.

• Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?

My little boy loved them! He often asked for a second pot! I had a taste of all of them and really enjoyed each of the flavours. My little one was slightly less keen on the Apricot flavours than all the others but that is likely to be personal preference, his cousin really liked them!

• Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.

Yes I would because the pots are a great size for a little one, taste great and are of really good quality. I like the fact the products are organic.

• What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?

We liked the flavours (my little one was less keen on Apricot but his cousin happily tucked into those). The size of pot and packaging were great. It was nice and thick and seemed good quality, what I would expect from this brand really.

I already have!

• What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

I already buy yoghurt for my little one as part of his everyday diet.

Yes, definitely as I would assume there would be even less sugar. I could also add to cooking.

So far I haven't found any! I've been in all 5 of my local supermarkets and none of them have them. I will keep trying as the voucher lasts until 31st and post my opinion then.

Obviously I'm unable to answer the rest of the questions at the moment.

Yes I would but maybe a bit later on as the pots are a bit big for a newly weaning baby

He enjoyed them so the taste seemed to be good! The pots were a good size for a one year old.

If it had less sugar.

Yes, children like the taste of natural yoghurt so I would feed it by itself.

My DC liked the Little Yeos, and I would definitely buy them again. I was very satisfied with them. The things that normally put them off food are the taste and the texture - in this case, both taste and texture meet with approval! They seemed healthy, too.

Yes, I would recommend them to be used from time to time for weaning - the pots are maybe a little bit big for a 6-month-old, so it might be wasteful to open one a day.

I don't think I could be encouraged to buy yogurt/ff more often, as I already buy quite a lot. But if Little Yeos launched a natural fromage frais then I'd consider switching to it.

I tried 3 retailers and no one had them so I couldn't review them
