We very much enjoyed testing these Fromage Frais. We were lucky enough to get all 3 flavours in our local Sainsburys.

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
We were extremely satisfied with these yoghurts. My little one is definitely a fan!
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes, I would recommend these Fromage Frais. My little one loved the flavour and the pots are just the right size (not too little and not too small).
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
My daughter liked all the flavours. A few times she even managed to eat more than one. She is not keen on milk so I am more than happy to let her eat as many Fromage Frais or yogurts as she likes.

Yes. I would buy these again.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

-Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?

Ds2 is in the very early stages of weaning and hasn't eaten anything in large amounts. In all honesty he wasn't a fan to begin with, but we persevered and by the end he was happy to eat half a pot of the strawberry flavour. Older brother was happy to yum up the leftovers!

-Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.

Yes. I liked that it was full fat but with lower sugar, which seems almost impossible for adult yoghurt. They are either lower sugar and fat free or normal fat and lots of sugar. I like organic as it comes with higher animal welfare standards.

-What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?

He wasn't a fan of the Apple one.

-Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?

I would, but did find it difficult to get hold of. Locally we only have Sainsbury's that stocked them and they were out of 1 of the 2 flavoursthey sell. Although I went further afield for the product test, I would not do that every week.

-What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

Yoghurt is a fridge staple and we eat most days. Cheaper price would help, as long as the quality remains as good. I appreciate that organic costs more though. Also I do buy the squeezy pouches of other brands as we use out of the house and so they don't make a mess if I let the kids eat in the living room.

-If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?

No. I already buy plain yeo yoghurt big pots, but this is used for mixing with other things e.g. granola, smoothie, honey. The tiny plots don't have room to mix anything into.

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
very my little girl loves them and kept asking for more
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
personally I would wait until someone had been weaning for a few weeks as I started with just plain yoghurt just to avoid additives and preservatives as much as possible.
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
I think my little girl didn't think they were big enough! But I think she would ha d struggled to eat 2!
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
yes if the price was right.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
more offers or lower price
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
yes. Would add it to other deserts in place of cream/ice cream or mix it with fruit or Cereal for breakfast.

Very satisfied. My little girl loved all of them!
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes, the texture is perfect for weaning and the tastes aren’t overpowering. They are also not too sweet.
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
They taste natural and not too sweet which I have found with many other brands. Also the variety available is really good.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
Yes definitely.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
I already buy Fromage Frais almost every week anyway as my daughter loves it and usually has some with her lunch.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes i would definitely try it, as a snack on its own or with some fruit or even with cereal.

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
I was very excited that we´ve got this chance to try mini Yeo fromage frais. My baby is very picky, so I was curious to see how he will react. Unfortunately, he didnt like these yoghurts as much as I expected and I understood the reason when I tried them by myself - they are not sweet enough...my boy has a sweet tooth and when I let him pick, he went for Yeo Valley with honey!
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
I definitely would recommend them inspite of the failure with my boy. I liked the size, texture and taste too, only my baby goes for more sweet stuff...
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
We liked packadging, variety of fruits, creamy texture. My baby boy disliked the taste - not very sweet.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
Since my child didnt enjoy them as much as I hoped, I will not probably buy it again.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
We buy yoghurts regularly, especially the one with honey, that one is very popular in our family.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Not sure if I would buy it, but it could be used as a mixture with porridge or as a sauce with a piece of cake...

-Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
I really liked them and from the melt down my little one had when she'd finished the pot, I'd say she liked them too.

Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.

I definitely would because I like that they are naturally sweetened with fruit juice rather than sugar like some other brands.

What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?

My littlest is allergic to strawberries so I loved that there were some different flavours to choose from. The packaging was great as it reiterated the natural feel of the product. The only down side was the tears when the pot was empty.

Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?

Yes! She loved and so did I.

What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

I currently buy them for lunch boxes for the older one and for snacks for the younger one. If they came in a tube that would be really handy for lunch boxes.

If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
I think so. I tend to buy big pots of plain yoghurt, to use with fruit or with granola.

lyd4165 · 04/12/2018 10:25
  1. satisfied.
  2. yes I would recommend
  3. I liked the packaging but thought they were quite small and expensive
  4. probably not
  5. If it was easy to see on the packaging that it was healthy and didn’t contain much sugar as well as being reasonably priced
  6. probably not no.
Jamb16 · 04/12/2018 10:32
  1. Very happy. My daughter loved the taste and kept wanting more. She had a big smile on her face when she was eating. I enjoyed the taste too and like the fact it is made from natural ingredients and a healthy snack for my child
  2. I probably wouldn’t right at the beginning of weaning as I don’t think it is good to introduce children to sugar straightaway but definitely at about 9 months I think it is a great snack or dessert for weaning
  3. The pots were a bit small in my opinion and my daughter needed two really. I like the packaging and that they support British farmers. I like the fact they don’t taste too sweet but still flavoursome, unlike other children’s yoghurts which taste very sweet and artificial
  4. Yes definitely
  5. They are good for taking out to cafes, trips out etc so I would be encouraged to buy them more often for this reason and at home for snacks and dessert as I tend to find bigger pots don’t get eaten quickly enough before they go off so prefer smaller sizes like this
  6. If the pot sizers were a little bigger and slightly cheaper I would definitely buy them more often
ellenpartridge · 04/12/2018 10:59
  1. We were very satisfied with the little yeos fruity fromage frais. My daughter really enjoyed them and was asking for them after her dinner.
  1. I definitely would recommend them but possibly not to someone who is about to wean their baby as I'm in favour of baby led weaning so would think they are more suitable for a slightly older baby who is able to use a spoon. However if someone was looking to spoon feed then yes I'd recommend them.
  1. My child liked the flavours and texture and really enjoyed the little yeos. I also liked the taste, that they don't have a lot of additives and that they come in a good portion size. I didn't really dislike anything but would prefer the price to be a bit cheaper as I would look out for them to be on offer. I normally buy similar from aldi for a cheaper price.
  1. Yes I would buy them again especially if on offer.
  1. I don't need encouraging to buy yoghurt and fromage frais more often as my daughter loves it so I buy loads anyway
  1. Yes I would consider using a natural fromage frais and would give it to my daughter as is or mix with fresh fruit

Thanks for letting us test them out

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?

Very satisfied. My 2yo child kept asking for more!

  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.

Yes, definitely. My child liked the taste and the texture is great for baby led weaning as it isn't runny, so doesn''t drip off the spoon. My child was able to hold the pot easily in her hand and feed herself.

  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?

The organic and natural ingredients. I also like there was no added sugar. My child seemed to enjoy all the flavours equally. She wanted 2/3 each time so bigger pots would be great.

  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?

Yes, especially when on offer.

  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

Bigger pots and a slightly lower price.

  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?

If my child liked the taste then yes. I would serve it with pancakes.

From the packs that we've tried I'm quite satisfied with it.
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
I would recomment 100% the strawberry and Raspberry one as it taste very good ( I had to try one too). And Little Yeos with pear I think would recommend it too, but my little one did not liked this one.

I like this as it is a good size for little ones and also they taste very good. Also being organic is a plus.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
The strawberry and Raspberry one definetly I'll buy it.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
Being an organic yogurt and made with fresh ingredients.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?

Sorry for missing one (raspberry and apricot) but I went to Tesco today and they did not had this flavour.

We were very satisfied, my son loved them!

Yes I would, they're tasty and don't contain anything that would be bad for the baby.

  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often? Special offers and additional flavours
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it? Yes, I'd add fruit and cereal to it for breakfast and use it to make soups and stews creamy and to cool them down quickly.

I've been to Tesco and Sainsbury's and both only have the Fruity mix.

EmberRainbow · 04/12/2018 18:18

really enjoyed this test, thanks for letting us take part

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity
Very satisfied with all 3 flavours
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
If they were planning to wean using fromage frais I’d perhaps mention this brand as it has more natural ingredients than others- but I wouldn’t recommend using fromage frais when weaning to be honest as I think there are better/healthier alternatives.
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
Liked the flavours, taste/texture and portion amount. Didn’t dislike anything in particular
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
If at a good price yes as handy for out/about, as others have suggested a large tub that could be portioned would be great
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
Nothing, we already buy yoghurt/fromage frais as a household
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes if good price, good for out/about pack ups ect or quick/easy desserts with fruit

Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
Very satisfied. My LO really enjoyed them.

  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes. They are perfect size for.little ones (maybe a bit small for my growing 18 month old!) And being organic they are not full of nasties!
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
My LO loved the flavours (a change from his usual natural yogurt) and I loved that they were more natural in the ingredients used. My only negative is that they were quite small pots - more suitable for younger babies.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again? Yes - if on offer.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
Frequent offers, variety of flavours.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Probably not, we usually buy full fat natural Greek style yogurt and this would probably be cheaper.
Unihorn · 04/12/2018 20:54

Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais? Really pleased, my eldest loves yoghurt and would eat a pack a day if we let her. She seemed to really like the different flavours available here.

Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes definitely, decent size and nice range of flavours. My daughter unfortunately seems to be intolerant to the dairy in yogurt so we'll have to hold off on that for a bit.

What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
She really liked the flavours. I'm not a big yogurt fan but I also thought they were nice.

Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
Yes but only on offer. They're currently 2 for £2 in Asda which is great.

What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
I already go through lots a week! But a good price is always attractive.

If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes probably, but it tends to be more cost effective to buy larger pots. I would use it as a snack/post lunch dessert.

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
We enjoyed them. DD loves yoghurt and these were a good size for her so I didn't feel obliged to share it.
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes, yoghurt is a good weaning food and these didn't have added junk.
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
Favourite thing was the size. Least favourite was that when I snapped some pots off and all the lids came off with it.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
Yes, probably next week because I've done this week's shop.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
I buy yoghurt every week anyway so no.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes probably. I give it to DD.

  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?

Really satisfied. I loved the variety of different flavours and my 19 month old couldn’t get enough of them.

  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.

Yes, my son has a very sweet tooth and I wondered how he might find Little Yeos compared to the brands on the market that don’t have as natural flavourings but he absolutely loved them.

  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?

My son liked everything. After the first spoonful he just kept saying nice. The only thing he disliked was not being able to fit his hands inside the pot - his cutlery skills aren’t the best!

  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?

Definitely. I plan to add them to the shopping list.

  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?

Making them more readily available. I couldn’t find them in my Waitrose despite the leaflet saying they stocked two flavours. However, my Sainsbury’s had a better range.

  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?

Yes! I love that idea. I would serve it with honey for a natural breakfast or use it in place of milk with cereal - it would definitely make less mess!

PizzaAndChips · 04/12/2018 21:27
  • Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais? Unfortunately we only got to try the Raspberry and Apricot variety due to consistently poor availability at my local stores. However, my baby and toddler both loved the flavours. I thought the consistency was nice and creamy and they didn’t separate like cheaper fromage frais have that we have bought.
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes - smooth consistency but not too sloppy. I’m not so sure the raspberry flavour would be a good starting point, however, as it seems slightly sharp for a first taste.
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
Fairly good pot for toddlers and babies - nice size and plastic not so thin that it breaks when you’re separating the pots. However, the ridge round the top means you get product stuck in there!! Product tastes natural. Children enjoyed the flavours.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
Perhaps, if on offer. We currently buy 6 pots for 68p of supermarket’s own brand.
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
Price point combined with low sugar content.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes, price depending. We use two yoghurts a day - 1 per child.

Very satisfied. My little boy loved all the flavours.
  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Yes, the taste is not overpowering, the texture is nice and creamy and the pot is the perfect size
  • What did you and your child like or dislike about Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 packs that you tried?
I liked the fact that it was made with real fruit puree. My LO especially liked the strawberry and peach and raspberry flavours. There wasn't anything to dislike except it's availability in shops. We went to 2 Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Tesco to find them all.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?
Yes, in fact we did on a 2 for £2 offer
  • What would encourage you to buy yogurt or fromage frais for your child more often?
Different flavours and as natural as possible.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes, I would. We'd have it on its own as a snack/dessert or mixed with fruit at breakfast. It's perfect weaning portions.

  • Would you recommend Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais to a friend or family member who is about to wean their baby? Please explain why or why not.
Maybe not for weaning but for when they are a bit older. As would go for natural yogurt when weaning.

She liked the yogurts and all the flavours. Packaging is nice.
  • Would you buy Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais 6 pack again?

Buy it regularly as yogurt is one of her favourites.
  • If Little Yeos launched a Natural Fromage Frais in a 6 pack would you consider buying it? How would you use it?
Yes I would definitely use it. Often use the natural yeo valley yogurt anyways as she really likes it but would also be good when weaning.

-Overall how satisfied were you and your child with Little Yeos Fruity Fromage Frais?
Very satisfied. My baby enjoyed eating her Little Yeos Fromage Frais and in return this made me happy knowing that she is enjoying something that is organic and without added sugar.
