This is the feedback thread for the 500 Mumsnetters who have been testing brand new range of cold-pressed baby food, My First Savsé.

Here’s what Guka, the founder of Savsé has to say: “When we looked at manufactured baby food, we realised babies weren’t getting the nutrients they deserved. Refusing to feed my own child pasteurised product, I wanted to push boundaries and create the freshest baby food possible. After all, real food isn’t just for adults.

This is why we created My First Savsé – Europe’s first cold-pressed, HPP baby food that’s as good as homemade. Unlike heat pasteurised baby food – which experiences a shocking 40% reduction in nutritional value – with My First Savsé the nutritional value of our 100% Organic, Grade A fruit and veg is never* compromised.

*Source: Fruselva Laboratories, July 2017 (tests carried out vs. heat pasteurised competitor x)”

Also from My First Savsé: “By cold-pressing our fruit and veg we don’t strip the goodness, replacing heat pasteurisation in favour of non-thermal High Pressure Processing (HPP) to ensure all vital nutrients are locked into each pouch, removing any nasties without compromising on taste or quality.

A busy parent will have to make a million compromises on a daily basis, but quality nutrition for their baby should never be one of them. However, with 1 in 4 parents unable to prepare homemade baby food due to work pressures, many have been forced to rely on heat pasteurised options bought in-store, with a sell by date often older than the babies themselves! But compromise no more. Our brand new cold-pressed baby food range, My First Savsé, has solved the problem - because babies deserve real food too.

Unlike heat pasteurised baby food, you won’t find My First Savsé in the baby aisle - oh no. You’ll find it in the chiller, alongside all the other fresh products!”

Testers, once the products are finished, please answer the below questions as well as leaving any other feedback you have:

1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
2. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
3. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
4. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
5. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

We’d also love to see some photos of your little one testing My First Savsé cold-pressed baby food, so please share on the thread if you can.

If you’d like to share your experience on social media, please do using the hashtag #myfirstsavse

All testers who complete the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
No it wont change how i shop
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
She enjoyed them all, i wouldn't say there was a favourite
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I loved how there was unusual ingredients in them, such as prunes. I would never have given my child prunes before
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Depending on the price yes, i find it hard finding meals pre made for my baby as she is dairy free.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
I think i would have to see the price first, they look like they could be an expensive brand, so maybe on special occasions buy one or two but not a weekly thing. However is the price was right, yes i would recommend and i would buy weekly and use them on trips out.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I didn't know , maybe just coz I never realised it.I don't know how much will it change the way I shop but it will definitely be on my shopping list.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My baby loved the Coconut, Cacao, Apple &Banana .He loved all of them but this was her favourite .

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I find My First Savse very única because of its composition and very healthy!I make my sweetie little smoothies but this solves the problem in diversity.I think a few mixes are a bit to liquid and maybe making them more like a paste base will be an improvement.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I would purchase it , first because it's very healthy and has amazing ingredients! But yes the fact that is never pasteurised I guess gives a big plus and I really do hope it gets to be sold everywhere.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Definitely!I think is a good start for your baby and a very easy way of giving diferente ingredients to the baby.We can't all have coconut and others on standby 🤗.
I love the products so much and really think this is the best product so far for babies and the closest to home cooked meals.

ruthspo · 08/09/2017 14:10
  1. No I didn't know these products were available before this. However I don't think it would change my shopping as I make most of his food from scratch.
  1. He loved all of them!
  1. To improve them they should cut back on the Apple. Apple is known to be the cheapest ingredient, so bulking their products up with Apple makes me doubt their quality.
  1. And 5. It would depend on the price. As mentioned above, the majority of his food is homemade, but I keep some aside for emergencies or picnics.
Also I would not recommend it over what is already there until the apple content is reduced

1.Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No, I wasn't aware of either.

2.Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My daughter oved the chocolate one.

3.How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think that offering pouches for different age groups would be good; these were very runny and my daughter is now a bit older and used to texture. In addition having a clearer line between sweet and savoury may help.

4.Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes and no; I like the idea of them being fresh, however the shorter expiry would put me off buying in bulk. In addition, I think that the cost of the pouches is quite expensive.

5.Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I would tell them about the product and let them make up teir own minds

Sawaqar · 08/09/2017 14:15

1.Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No i did not know that's there was chilled pet food as I do not have a pet

No this will not change the way I shop for my child as this is a good alternative to home made food especially when out and about and as a quick meal for the busy days

2.Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

The lentils sweet potato carrot and Apple recipe was the favourite

It Has more flavours to it and my child loved it

3.How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think they should make more flavoursum varieties such a pasta range tomato sauce range. I think it's more natural and is a good next option after home made food for babies

4.Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes I would purches it because it's never heat pasteurized as I know it hasn't been messed around with before going in to my babies system it makes me feel more confident about it

Yes I would recommend it to my family and friends as it's good for babies who are sensitive to certain ingredients or fussy eaters or other wise just a next option for busy parents and if out and about, this product is a brilliant source of energy and all the goodness for babies in their 1st stages of weaning

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I knew that chilled pet food was around as I have bought it for my dog. I didn't realise until I was sent the product to me that there was a lack of chilled baby food. I would for sure like more chilled baby in our supermarkets so I can buy my daughter more of it.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
My daughter didn't have a favourite she enjoyed them all. Every pouch was finished and fully enjoyed. My daughter loves fruit and vegetables so the different combinations together went down a treat.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
Maybe try stage 2 pouches so there is more texture and maybe add meat or fish. I've only feed my daughter on pouches or jars so any products that are available to me that I know has natural ingredients with no hidden nasties is a fab idea and will be in my shopping trolley.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Yes I would buy My First Savsè again for my daughter as they are fantastic flavours and my daughter really enjoyed them and I felt good giving them to her knowing they are all natural. Other pouches and jars have very long best before dates but My First Savsè have a short date so you know they are fresh.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? Yes I would recommend My First Savsè to my friends and family who have children as they are great pouches.
The products are fantastic and I will be purchasing again for my daughter I hope that you make more flavours and add stage 2 to your range.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I was aware of this but hadn't really put much thought into it!! I suppose if we can make fresh food available for our pets, then the very least there should be is a choice available for our children! I don't think it will change the way I shop for my LB though no.
  1. The Cacau one was a definite fave. Its a shame I don't have any of the retailers close by else I would purchase this one again. The kale one was very sharp. He squinted at that one a lot, but did eat it!!
We found the apple to be as expected- just Apple!
  1. I found the consistency of the purée very loose. It could have done with being thicker. A bit tricky to keep on the spoon. We did also find that they tended to be more of a pudding taste rather than a main meal. I think this is because the fruit content was present it all of them which made the sweet. I like the unique mix of ingredients, but maybe a unique mix of just veg???
  1. I would definitely buy these again if they were readily available. The fact that they don't have that funny jar taste makes the world of difference, and I don't feel
Guilty about grabbing one on the go.
  1. I would recommend yes. It's fresh and taste great. The ingredients are ones that you wouldn't necessarily go out and buy such as Cacau and coconut!! They did taste home made and my LB did really like them.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
Yes I did know this. When I first heard about it it did sound like a wonderful idea to have chilled baby food, assuming it to be fresher and therefore more nutritious for my little one when I didn't have time to prepare my own. After this trial I'm not sure it will change the way I shop for them to be honest.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
My little girl seems to be much like me, and enjoyed the one with coconut in most. To be honest, much of the range was opened but never finished, but the coconut one was.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I found that every recipe I received was very sweet. The majority of them had apple as a main ingredient. This is fairly common of other brands as well, but I prefer being able to get some that are more savoury than sweet, as I wouldn't want my little girl to get too much of a sweet tooth. As she loves nothing more than chewing on a piece of broccoli, I'd rather encourage that than give her too much sweet puree. My First Savsé need to release recipes that haven't been sweetened with fruit as well as fruity ones.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
I'm not sure I'm totally convinced that heat pasteurising makes it any worse for you. I think I'd need more evidence that this is the case. I half feel that fresh must be better, but then at the same time the food I received had fairly long best before dates on them, so could theoretically end up on a supermarket shelf for weeks anyway before purchase, and then is that any better? I'm trying hard to believe the company's claims, but not convinced yet.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
It may come up in a list of other brands, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to recommend it. The main issue with it for me is that you can't really take it out on the go as it needs to be kept refrigerated, which makes it less convenient than other pouches. On days we're at home it's a nice option there if I haven't time to prepare my own food though, so I wouldn't necessarily NOT recommend it. My little girl didn't seem to dislike the taste, but there are others she seems to prefer, if I'm honest. But then I've noticed she can be quite fussy with pouches overall - she much prefers chunks of food she can grab at.

No, I found the need to chill it a little inconvenient

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The ones that had apple in them!
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
Moving into stage 2/3 would be handy
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Yes, because I like the ethos
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes, feels healthy

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I did not know about chilled pet food and it won't change the way I shop in future.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My son enjoyed the blueberry one but we mixed it in with his porridge.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think more savoury options would be good as they all contained fruit. Other than the flavours being obscure I don't think they are overly different to other brands.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I wouldn't because my son is more into baby led weaning as isn't a fan of being spoonfed. Also last night I noticed the pouch said to consume within 6 hours of opening which I don't think is very good.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

No I wouldnt just because I found the flavours obscure and think they are expensive for what they are

Thank you for the opportunity to test though

BlueGirl1982 · 08/09/2017 15:28
  1. No I didn't know this, but I don't imagine it will change the way I shop.
  2. She happily ate all of them, even the ones I thought were a bit suspect, think the winner was the cacao for both of us though!
  3. A wider range of flavours, less smooth options for growing babies, vegetable only pouches would also be good.
  4. I would buy it if I liked the flavours on offer, we only really buy pouches as back ups/for quick meals when out, so the heat pasteurisation isn't necessarily my prime concern.
  5. Yes, the flavour range was a hit here.

I liked the flavours and the packaging, but given we use pouches for our and about and sometimes only half is eaten, the life span isn't ideal so it would depend how the price point compared to other brands.

BlueGirl1982 · 08/09/2017 15:32

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I didn't know. It will make me rethink what I buy.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

He seemed to like all of them mostly the same.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think the names sounded very exciting but the actual flavours were heavily the less exotic flavours based. The ideas seem a bit more exciting than other offerings but lacking in savoury options

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I'm not sure the price is worth what you get

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I will tell them about our experiences but the price might be prohibitive for a lot of people I know

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one? No i didn't realise they were the first for chilled baby food...it does give it a more fresher feel but it wouldn't make me purchase differently for my little one...as it restricts me to keeping it chilled so quite difficult for days out!
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range? Apple but was extremely impressed by the alternative flavours.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets? It's quite different which impressed me...its good to see the alternative to home cooked meals which are easily available! I'd keep going in this direction...its nice to see something different!
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? I would but only select flavours that I know will be eaten at home!
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? I would...first savse are great for 1st time food experimenting through to older children.

My daughter is now 1...saying this she only has 2 teeth so we are restricted to puree and soft easy to eat foods...i would purchase the odd few of these from time to time but sticking to the Apple as it was the only one my daughter polished off completely!

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
No I wasn't, but it won't change the way I shop. I like being able to have a few stores in my changing bag for when I'm caught out etc. Rather than panicking about keeping it refrigerated.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The blueberry based one!
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
They are reasonably similar recipes to what's on offer by other brands.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
I think per sachet they are quite expensive. Although I love the fact it's fresh, it's not always convienient.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes. The concept is great, especially for mums that prepare all their babies meals beforehand. This is a great item to grab when out and about, and feel guilt free.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
No, I don't have pets, so unaware of this. I doubt that it will change the way I shop as I only buy store bought food for my son on trips out, and having to keep it cold is impractical when you are out and about.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
I don't think he had a favourite, he seemed to enjoy them all.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
They need to be more lumpier for older babies - my son who is 9months drank it like it was water. Other brands offer lumpier mixtures for older babies
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
I would if you didn't have to keep it cold - as said before, I only buy this sort of baby food if I am out.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Only for babies that were starting to wean and if there parents were made of money - very expensive at £1.70 a pouch!!!!!

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I didn't but it will definitely alter my shopping habits as I'd choose a fresh product again.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The cucumber,kiwi,kale,spinach,apple and banana flavour.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
The only negative I'd say is having pouches with just one food in. I think by having just apple for example takes away one of the great benefits of the product in that you can get multiple fresh fruit/veg into your child in just one go so the other products with a combo of ingredients offer a better nutritional hit. I think it compares well, but may struggle against the more well known brands who offer recipes. Perhaps gentle spicing could be added?
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Yes as detailed above the combo recipes would definitely be on our shopping list.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes- we all need to grab convenience products for our children from time to time and My First Savse have given us products that offer a better nutritional option - how could anyone say no to that?!

Btw- no digestive issues for my daughter.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I didn't know that there wasn't any chilled baby food. I may consider buying depending on the price.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

The one with cocoa

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think there was quite a good range but maybe more savoury options may be good. I think it's a bit different from other ones on offer.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I would if it was in my price range. Much prefer to give my baby fresh food than highly processed.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
I would as an alternative to home made if in a rush. They're so fresh with vibrant colours that look like what is in them.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I didn't not know you could buy chilled dog food. No it won't change the way I shop.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My little boy favourite was Lentil, sweet potato, carrot and Apple. A very strange combination but he loved it. He even took the packet of me to finish it off

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

Possibly look at more texture meals for older children ? My little boy has just turned one but has pouches when he is teething but if you done little meals for older ones I would definitely be interested.
I think they compare as been just as good to others on the market. Only thing that would put people of is having to keep it cold when out and about.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes but with it been in the chilled section I would probably forget. My little boy would love them as snacks.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Yes my little boy loved them. They were very easy for him to eat when he was teething (4 teeth coming in at one time) so it was nice and cool on his gums. I liked that they contain all the goodness as none is lose through heating.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I did know this. I mostly use pouches for convenience though so chilled is not a big factor.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
Apple
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I was surprised there were only very sweet flavours and nothing to expand to past the first weaning tastes.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
I might!
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Not really, although there were some interesting flavour combinations.

I didn't know about chilled pet food but I'm not sure why it's relevant. It won't change the way I shop though it's nice to have more choice.

He loves apple so enjoyed all the ones with that in!

I found the pouches very runny and quite difficult to keep on a spoon long enough to get in my boy's mouth! He's been weaning/weaned for over a year now so I think I may just be out of practice with the first foods that these seem to be (although he still enjoys fruit pouches for dessert)

I'm not sure if I would. I use pouches mainly at home so getting them straight from the fridge isnt a problem but for convenience and the fact that they have to be chilled at all times does makes them inconvenient for travelling. My husband met me from work and packed a picnic for our son as we were going out for tea - he had packed one of your pouches for him which ended up being thrown away as he didn't realise it had to be kept chilled, I think clearer packaging would be helpful.
I am also alarmed by other posters warning about out of date pouches on this thread, I didn't know about this until now and feel I should have been warned. I didn't think to check mine before giving them to my son.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I would in terms of my son enjoying them but I think the product would be too expensive for many, especially if still on maternity leave.

  1. No, I didn't know and it won't change the way I shop.
  2. The coconut & cacao one.
  3. Less Apple, some meat options.
  4. Being heat pasteurised is not something I care about.
  5. I wouldn't recommend it because it's quite expensive and has caused tummy troubles to several peoples children.

I didnt know there was chilled pet food available. I know they do chilled ready meals for children because of little dish and own brand supermarket meals such as m and s. I am sure m and s have some chilled baby pouches too own brand? I dont think it will change the way i shop as i buy pouches for convenience rather than chilled or not.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

Definitely the apple, but the blueberry one too.

I think they have good flavour combinations and ingredients are put together I wouldnt normally think of. Maybe some more savoury ones? I think to improve more texture as they are very liquidy.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I am not sure I would based on price and i buy pouches for convenience if going out and have snacks available. Being that it needs to be chilled is actually an inconvenience for me.

I would for flavours and for them to try something new but there are negatives for me hence cost and that they do need to be chilled. Also shorter shelf life.

I tried to give my little girl all of the samples and different flavours but she refused them. Not really sure why. It might be that in each there was added something sweet like Apple, cocoa or cocconut and she has not been used to sweet flavours yet. I think she prefer vegetables on it's own and fruits she likes to eat whole not mashed. I think that is the reason why she wasn't very keen on this food. So for me it didn't work maybe if you do some more flavours without adding sweet fruit to everything. I still would recommend it to the parent who know that his/her child has sweet tooth.
