This is the feedback thread for the 500 Mumsnetters who have been testing brand new range of cold-pressed baby food, My First Savsé.

Here’s what Guka, the founder of Savsé has to say: “When we looked at manufactured baby food, we realised babies weren’t getting the nutrients they deserved. Refusing to feed my own child pasteurised product, I wanted to push boundaries and create the freshest baby food possible. After all, real food isn’t just for adults.

This is why we created My First Savsé – Europe’s first cold-pressed, HPP baby food that’s as good as homemade. Unlike heat pasteurised baby food – which experiences a shocking 40% reduction in nutritional value – with My First Savsé the nutritional value of our 100% Organic, Grade A fruit and veg is never* compromised.

*Source: Fruselva Laboratories, July 2017 (tests carried out vs. heat pasteurised competitor x)”

Also from My First Savsé: “By cold-pressing our fruit and veg we don’t strip the goodness, replacing heat pasteurisation in favour of non-thermal High Pressure Processing (HPP) to ensure all vital nutrients are locked into each pouch, removing any nasties without compromising on taste or quality.

A busy parent will have to make a million compromises on a daily basis, but quality nutrition for their baby should never be one of them. However, with 1 in 4 parents unable to prepare homemade baby food due to work pressures, many have been forced to rely on heat pasteurised options bought in-store, with a sell by date often older than the babies themselves! But compromise no more. Our brand new cold-pressed baby food range, My First Savsé, has solved the problem - because babies deserve real food too.

Unlike heat pasteurised baby food, you won’t find My First Savsé in the baby aisle - oh no. You’ll find it in the chiller, alongside all the other fresh products!”

Testers, once the products are finished, please answer the below questions as well as leaving any other feedback you have:

1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
2. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
3. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
4. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
5. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

We’d also love to see some photos of your little one testing My First Savsé cold-pressed baby food, so please share on the thread if you can.

If you’d like to share your experience on social media, please do using the hashtag #myfirstsavse

All testers who complete the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? No I wasn't aware of this seems strange that there hasn't been a market for chilled baby food before today.

Will this change the way you shop for your little one? Yes if chilled baby food becomes more popular and other brands come along and they are easily accessable then I would be more likely to buy fresh food pouches for my son. This would be because they will be more fresh and have less added sugar in them than some of the other baby pouches on the market, as they are designed so that they have a longer shelf life resulting in having to have more additives in the food to keep.

Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range? My son's favourite out of the pouches was Lentils, Sweet potato, Carrot & apple.

How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? Some of the pouches were of a thinner consistency than others so they ran off the spoon in particular the coconut, cacao, apple, banana for example.

How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets? They offered more of a mixture of flavours in the one pouch mixing both vegetables and fruit together. They are the only known fresh food pouches so they have to be stored in the fridge and have shorter use by dates than other baby food pouches already on the market.

Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? I would purchase if was widely available because I believe that they are as close to home made purees as you're going to get and they're a healthier option to other baby pouches on the market where they have to have a certain amount of additives in them to be able to keep such a long shelf life.

Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? Yes I would because they're fresh, full of flavour, there is a good choice range of flavours, easy to use packaging and easy storage in the fridge with clear use by dates. The only downside I would say is that when out on day trips it would be harder to use because they wouldn't keep long even with an ice pack in a cool bag as they're designed to be stored in the fridge so they would be best suited for use at home.

Really enjoyed the opportunity to trial My First Savsé baby food almost as much as my son did, thank you. x

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I wasn't aware of this and no, it's unlikely to change my shopping habits.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

None, she wasn't keen on any one item on particular

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

More savoury options, there's a lot of fruit in these pouches making them very sugary.
I don't see these pouches as being a legitimate alternative to those on the market currently as I avoid buying pureed fruit and simply make smaller fresh portions at home.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
No its easier for me to make a small portion at home without the cost and wastage of baby not eating the whole portion
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
No it just doesn't offer anything special in my opinion

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one? Did not know this and not sure that's correct, as have seen other brands such as Little Dish for some time now. Not sure when Savsé came on the scene.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range? The coconut and cacao one.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets? Personally I'm not too much of a fan of mixing sweet and savoury so much - I started my son off on pureed vegetables and nothing else, and he's turned into a really good eater (he likes sweet things, but will eat savoury first and in preference!), so I would offer some recipes that don't have, for example, apple mixed in.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? I'm not sure - I would need to make myself aware of the potential benefits v the impracticality of storing them in the fridge and having a shorter shelf life before making that decision. Cost is also an important factor.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? Yes, as the flavours are interesting and tasty, but I would also mention re having to store them in the fridge. As nearly all other brands can be stocked up in a cupboard, there's a need to be careful buying these, as they would be rendered unsafe to eat if put with all the rest!

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I didn't know that! Scary really. Yes it will, definitely.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

He loved the one with the lentils in it the best. My other children loved them too! Particularly the cacao and coconut one, and the blueberry one.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

A wider range of pouches with a bigger protein content would be great. I think the flavour combinations are really good, definitely better than Ella's Kitchen in my opinion and just as good as Piccolo and Babease but obviously fresher and more nutritious.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes I would because I aim to give my little ones as nutritious a meal as I can with the time I have, so this would increase my ability to do that.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Yes I already have! I recommend them because I really like them too - it's like a yummy smoothie treat

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I didn't know this! I don't have pets, and I didn't feed my older child shop-bought baby food at all, so had never considered it. That does seem a bit bonkers. It will change the way I shop in that I'll look in the chilled section now!

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

Lentil, sweet potato, carrot and apple and the cacao one.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I'd like to see more veg options (i.e. without the high apple/pear content). They had a more interesting range of ingredients that "traditional" baby food, however there are a couple of other companies also now in this area (although not chilled)

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I would if I was weaning again, however my baby is really passed the puree stage now so won't have much call to.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? Yes, definitely. I know people who feel guilty about using processed baby food, and would find it reassuring that these are closer to what they'd make themselves.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
No I wasn't aware of this but it wouldn't affect the way I shop for my son. I also wasn't aware that there was chilled pet food available, there are none in the supermarkets I shop in. I don't like the idea of chilled pet food, I can't imagine wanting to store pet food in my fridge. I like the idea of chilled baby food but I don't think it's that innovative as my son eats other chilled foods like baby yoghurts.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
His favourite was the coconut and cacao one, he happily ate it. He wasn't too keen on the apple one but ate most of the others although he wasn't as keen as he was on the cacao one.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I don't think they could improve their recipes as they have natural ingredients and seem healthy. Maybe they could make more savoury pouches and introduce a range of textures for children of different ages. I think they are similar to other baby food pouches available, the main difference is that they are chilled and don't have any additives. I think they have slightly more experimental flavours than other pouches which I like because its nice to give your child some different flavours now and again.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
This doesn't make a massive difference to me. It would depend on the price. If, as someone said above, they sold for £1.70 each, I definitely wouldn't buy them as I think this is far too expensive, especially for the plainer flavours. I could cook and mash an apple for a lot cheaper than that. If they were cheaper than this I would buy the more interesting flavours from time to time.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes I probably would because I think they are a good idea and my son did enjoy most of them.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I wasn't aware there was chilled pet food, but neither surprises me! I don't think this will have a huge impact on how I shop, as we try to feed our daughter mostly homemade things.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
Definitely the one with cacao in - and such a different combination than we would normally have!
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
Everything seems to have apple or pear in. I think veggie options should be less fruity. We are trying to feed less sweet foods, and have difficulty finding such things in the grocery store.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Yes, I would buy My First Savsé knowing it is never heat pasturised. I am interested in feeding my child the heathiest options, and I feel this method of unpasturisation is optimal in this regard.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes, but with hesitations. I like the 'healthier' aspect, but the pouches seem quite sweet to be giving more than on occasion. My daughter enjoyed them, but she probably has quite a sweet tooth by now!
foreveryours123 · 07/09/2017 14:20

my baby really loved the saves, didn't leave any,, but I must admit that I didn't like the smell at all. I was really surprised by the price and wont be buying any unless I see a good promotion on.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I did not know there was chilled pet food but I did think there was chilled baby food.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
Probably the cacao one.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I generally feed my 8m old whatever we are having but I was interested to try him with a pouch to see what he thought. I personally thought the flavours were very fruit dominant, quite runny and could have more meaty flavours. My limited experience of other brands seem to do this.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Not a chance, sorry. They are too expensive and not portable like what I would want them for.
  1. Would you recommend my first savse to friends and family?
No, as nothing stood out for me.

I like the idea - that most of the nutrients are kept but I just feel I can do better and cheaper at home if I wanted.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

Yes, I would buy fresh poutches for her when she is alone with her father. I hope there will be some different ones soon. Maybe a bit more filling?

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

Kiki absolutely loved the one with cacao in it

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think they need to think less complicated. The ingredients stated on the front of the pouch seem so odd together that it actually would put people off. I taste all the food I give to Kiki and must say I quite liked it. None of the pouches contained milk, which was great because Kiki is allergic to it.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available
in supermarkets, and why?

Yes, I would buy the occasional pouch. Occasional because they consist mostly of apple.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Yes, I would. Especially the cacao one. Kiki absolutely loved it. I heated the pouches up before feeding her and mixed that one with her coco yoghurt breakfast. MASSIVE hit.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
No, I was not aware. No, this will not change the way I shop, but it has made me a wiser mummy.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The coconut, cocoa one, but she loved them all :)
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I think the flavour combinations were really nice. They were unusual but worked really well. Loved the fruit and veg being in the same pouch. I think they stand out from the other pouches on the market due to their innovative flavour combinations.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
I would as a treat as the price is too expensive to make it an everyday purchase.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? Yes I would as the flavour combinations were amazing
canihaveacoffeeplease · 08/09/2017 10:48
  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I had no idea there was chilled pet food available. I really like the idea of the freshest possible food for my baby when I can't prepare it myself, so yes, I would definitely purchase refrigerated baby food.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
Lentil, sweet potato, carrot and apple went down brilliantly, as did carrot, pumpkin apple and beetroot. The cacao one was not popular at all, I put it back in the fridge and tried again twice more, but she just wasn't keen.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

As others have mentioned above, I was very surprised with the apple puree content in every pouch. This made them sweeter than I would've liked and makes them less well balanced if you were giving more than 1 in a day, so the baby would be eating a huge amount of apple but actually not a lot of vegetables.

Having said this, I know that a lot of baby food pouches are the same, and I do like that Savse have additional benefits. DD also mostly really enjoyed them, and hasn't been massively keen on many other prepared baby foods, except for really sweet ones, eg strawberry and banana.
I would be very keen to try some more meal based offerings for slightly older babies, perhaps with meat/fish/carbs/pulses, and certainly less apple puree as the main ingredient

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes I would. I try to make as much food as I can for my baby, and really appreciate when I can't (eg long journeys) that I can get a product that is as close as possible to this. It is nutritionally really good, and most importantly, she really liked them and ate loads, so I can be sure she is eating!

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I would definitely recommend, as they were popular with my baby, and are a quality product, however the price would be a sticking point for some I am sure.

Good luck, i think the product is great and has huge potential! xx

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No as it's the convenience of being able to take the pouches anywhere and not worrying about keeping them cold.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My little one ate all of them and showed no real preference!

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I prefer the others on the market add you can take them anywhere, also the my first savse pouches were very funny!

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I wouldn't purchase it as it not convenient and doesn't last as long as others on the market.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

No it's very runny and not very useful for on the go which is when you would use the pouches.

Battenburg1978 · 08/09/2017 13:05
  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one? I'm afraid not - to be honest the thing about pouches is that they don't have to be refrigerated. Even though the Savse pouches arrived in a refrigerated package, I did not actually realise that they had to be kept in the fridge!! For food that had to be refrigerated, I would prepare fresh.
  2. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range? This trial made me realise that my little girl does not like pouch food much. She did enjoy the coconut and cacao pouch mixed in with Greek yoghurt - that went down really well, but she wouldn't eat any of the savoury ones. To be fair she won't eat any savoury Ella's pouches either!
  3. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets? I think they offer a wider range of flavours which is good, especially savoury flavours. Some of the pouches tasted very appley, no matter what the other ingredients were so focus on that to improve them.
  4. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? To be honest the pasteurisation thing doesn't bother me in the slighted and I probably would not purchase due to cost and inconvenience of having to keep in the fridge.
  5. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? I think they are nice enough and would suggest them to someone who did not want pasteurised baby food. Overall j don't think I rate them any more highly than any other pouch.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
No I really was not aware of this! Since trying these I have been buying these occasionally for my daughter when we are going out so i'd say yes it has changed the way i'd shop.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

Sofia enjoyed Lentil, sweet potato, carrot and apple the most, but to be honest she enjoyed them all, I was quite surprised.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I'd say they should add more savoury options, I do think they offer quite a good range though compared to many others. But I do think The information " keep refrigerated " should be more be more visible.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes I have already purchased since we tried them. But they are a bit more expensive.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I certainly would! But for occasional use

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I knew there was chilled pet food but having this for babies never really occurred to me. I don't think the way I shop for DDs food will be changing

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

DD loved the blueberry and coconut

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

More savoury options would be nice. Pricing wise I think they are pretty on par with the market.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I would definately purchase if widely available. I like getting a range of brands to switch things up when out and about.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Yes. They were good quality and DD loved them

Summerflake · 08/09/2017 13:28

Unfortunately we did not try the product.

It sounded really good but the package was delivered opened, with no information inside and I was uncomfortable with giving this to my daughter.

I e mailed to ask for some advice and my e mail was ignored. I also had an out of date product which again was ignored. I notice that I've been pestered several times for feedback so clearly e mails can be sent.

I wouldn't use this product due to the unprofessional way the test was conducted. I wouldn't be happy giving this to my daughter and I wouldn't recommend it to others.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I didn't know that learn something new everyday I don't like thinking chilled pet food is in the chilled section I haven't seen it myself. It won't change the way I shop in regards to chilled baby food as long as the chilled baby food isn't in the same child fridge as the child baby food.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

my little ones favourite was the coconut and cocao flavour as he loves anything coconut and ate it all up I was even surprised when he wanted more.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think it would be nice to have more vegetables based pouches only rather then mix it up with fruit.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I've seen it retailed at varies prices from £1.70- £3.00 each and could become quite expenses and so I wouldn't buy it unless it was on offer.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I wouldnt recommend on the bases it could become expensive and also there isn't enough vegetable content It is a competitive market out there with other baby food offering so much more or parents preparing meals from scratch. There was concern even though my pouches were in date that some testers were giving some pouches that was out of date surely that shouldnt happen and it should have been checked prior to sending. Also the various pricing which would work out too expensive for many parents.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one? No. I make a lot of purée and found that this is no better because it has to be kept refrigerated. To me the useful part of pouches is portability.

I did know there was chilled pet food (which I've never purchased) but I couldn't care less that there IS chilled pet food and ISN'T chilled baby food - I think that's quite an odd question. This won't change the way I shop as I only use pouches to supplement homemade food, usually for picnics / trips out so I wouldn't be able to take the Savse pouches anyway.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

He scoffed the cacao one but wouldn't eat more than a mouthful of all the others. He actually spat the kale one all over the table.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

From the little tasting I did, they were all overwhelmingly apple flavoured which was a bit disappointing. I would like to have seen more vegetable based / vegetable content pouches. I have no issue with my son getting enough fruit as he loves it so really I like pouches to sneak vegetables in to him! For this reason, I prefer the more vegetable heavy ones from Aldi. The smoothness of the puree indicates they are really only a Stage 1 food but they were so runny, the puree was tricky to get on a spoon, my son ended up drinking the one he did eat!

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I don't think I would buy My First Savse as I use pouches for convenience and the fact that they have to be chilled at all times makes them inconvenient. I am also alarmed by some of the other posters warning about out of date / unchilled pouches - I didn't think to check mine before serving them as I couldn't imagine a company would send out a dud product for testing - not very professional. I've heard several reports of runny nappies following Savse consumption too but luckily my son seems to have the constitution of an ox.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Potentially, depending on what my friends or family wanted from their pouches. I find them inconvenient and their homogeneous taste puts me off. But if my mum friends were concerned with heat pasteurisation, then I'd probably mention them. Although I suspect they would be prohibitively expensive for many mums, especially still on maternity pay.
