Hello, I have been using pampers size 4 with my 8mo DD.

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
Thinner than other nappies (good as DD is just starting to be mobile and I think she was less encumbered) but they do smell quite strongly of chemicals which I haven't noticed with other nappies.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
Good performance. No leaks. No rash.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes if they were on offer and came out the same price as my usual brand (Sainsbury's little ones). They are good nappies. However I don't think there is enough difference in performance to warrant spending more money on them. So I am almost entirely price led in this decision.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
I don't think I have ever had a conversation where this would happen (and DD is DC2). So probably not, no.
meerschweinchen · 26/10/2014 08:20

I used the nappies on ds, aged 13 months, size 4.

What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

I love the fact that they are the thinnest nappies I have ever used. They also look the nicest. I like the colourful design. They worked well on my ds. Saying that, other, cheaper nappies, have also been fine, so I'm not sure I can justify the extra cost.

  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

They performed well, no leaks. Saying that, I have rarely had leaks with any nappies with ds, so must be lucky!

  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would, but only if on offer and so significantly reduced in price.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes, for dryness and fit (although the elastic bits round the legs occasionally leave marks which other nappies don't) However, they are pricy, and I think Pampers Simply Dry are just as good, but cheaper!
isabeeee · 26/10/2014 18:31

My little cute face is 10 months and his size is 4

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

The nappies never leaked despite my baby's very active disposition and exploring habits.

  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

They were good during the day and at night. I and my son really enjoyed it as leaks are really such a nightmare with a lot of nappies but definitely not this nappy.

  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Would definitely use it, if I could afford to but for now will use it only occasionally when I want to be very sure there would be no leakage incident in public places.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?

I would most definitely recommend it.

My full review can be found in my blog at mylittlecuteface.wordpress.com/2014/10/26/pampers-active-fit-review/

My son is 21months old and wears a size 5.

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
Good impression as they are nice and thin and fit better around the legs and bottom than some other brands.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
They performed well day and night, no leaks at all. My son has been waking up a little damp to touch with another brand but with Pampers he was dry to touch which I was pleased about.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would use again, but I would be looking for them on offer as they are more than I would normally pay.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes I would, I thought they fitted better than others with no bulk around the front, so his trousers fitted better. They felt nice and light two so were easy to pop in your handbag.
Madamnit · 26/10/2014 20:47

I used the size 3 nappies for my DD who is 8 months.

What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

Pretty good! They were slim so fitted nicely in my handbag and fitted my long skinny DD really well. They were soft to the touch with a nice design.

How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

I'm afraid my LO is going through a teething, mega poopy stage so didn't get a chance to wear the nappies for a long period of time. Big pluses were that they held the poop in and didn't get a sniff of nappy rash even through practically every nappy for the last week has been a poop! DD is a super wriggly crawler and climber and no leaks. We change DD around 1030pm when we do the dream feed, so can't vouch for the 12 hours overnight.

Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would be happy to use these again. Unsure on price point but if it matched my usual brand on price (little angels) I wouldn't hesitate.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
I can't see how it could but I probably would!

prumarth · 26/10/2014 20:48

My son is 15 months and was wearing the 4+ size.

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
Initially I was impressed with the thinness of the nappies however, like other posters, I found the smell on opening the pack a little off putting (chemical smell). We also experienced a rash issue when our son wore the nappies.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
Through the day, the nappies were fine in terms of holding wetness away from his skin. At night we did have some leaking - however this is a problem we are experiencing with our current brand too. More concerning for us was the rash that appeared when he wore them - red marks across his skin and round his legs - not like nappyrash but almost like carpet burn in appearance. We switched back to our current brand and the rash disappeared but reappeared on using the papmers again.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
No - the price is higher than I would be prepared to pay and I am concerned about the red marks that appeared on my sons bottom.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
I would say that the lack of bulk is good however the smell / rash would lead me to not recommending them overall.
Jenny2014 · 26/10/2014 21:27

My not so little giant 7 month old tried the 4+ nappies.

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

Surprising! I hadn't realised how damp the skin stays in an Aldi nappy in comparison to the Active Fit nappies. Equally I hadn't noticed the smell of an Aldi nappy, but really noticed these.

  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

Superbly, but actually we didn't have a problem with the Aldi nappies either. These are really nice though, and don't look as cheap as the Aldi nappies / aren't as bulky.

  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I think the price is the determining factor for us. We can't afford to pay considerably more when the Aldi nappies comparably aren't too different. We've not had any nappy rash issues, but if we had, then I'd certainly pay more to keep his skin drier.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?

Yes. Hands down I would. But I'd also say the same about Aldi.

goingloombandcrazy · 27/10/2014 07:18

What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

We used them at night time only. By the time the nappies arrived we had moved onto pull up pants and I felt bad putting my daughter back into nappies. However after two uses the smell was so offputting I donated them to a friend. Her child found them good during the day.
We both liked the slim fit of them .

  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

The smell was offputting. The cost is expensive.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?

For dryness and fit I would recommend but for price no. They aren't that amazing to justify the difference.

In respect of the product test was it really necessary to send a USB stick out. Couldn't you have save money and be environmentally friendly and sent us a link?

Reniee14 · 27/10/2014 11:56

We used size 3 nappies for my baby girl who is 5 months.

What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

Not bad overall, they had a soft feel with pretty designs for both genders, not bulky which is a good thing fitting in the changing bag?

How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

The PAF did well, held in her wee's & poos, snug fit around her thighs even though she's a small baby. I can't give my opinion on her wearing the nappy for 12 hours as I wouldn't leave her overnight in a nappy so long! can be frightI'm afraid my LO is going through a teething, mega poopy stage so didn't get a chance to wear the nappies for a long period of time.

Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes as Pampers are my usual brand for my daughter. Personally I prefer to pay a little extra & get quality & when the time is right I would be happy to transition to the PAF as at the moment were using Pampers New Baby size 2.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes

ImGoingForATwix · 27/10/2014 13:26

Tested with DS, 12 MONTHS. SIZE 4+

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
No strong impression to be honest, I liked them overall, but no more or less than my usual brand.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
No leaks day or night. Good fit and stayed in place.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Probably not, but only because they're quite a bit more expensive than my usual brand and I don't feel they're any better than those (Aldi Mamia 4+). If they were a similar price I would certainly be more likely to buy them and if I couldn't get to Aldi, I would pick up a small packet of these over other supermarket brands I haven't any experience of.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes, although I always recommend the Aldi ones too!

Thanks for the opportunity to test these.

Spangles1979 · 27/10/2014 17:55

What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
My ds is 15 months and I'm using size 4 nappies. I knew they would be good quality but was interested to see if they'd improved enough to convince me to ove back. They seem to have become thinner and softer since I used them in the past. I'd used Active Fit with my dd but moved to own brand with ds to save money! Overall I was happy with the nappy's performance.

  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time? I didn't notice that much difference after a 12 hour sleep compared to my current nappies, but during the day I did notice that his skin was dry to touch when I changed his nappy. I also noticed that the wet smell of the nappy was not as strong as it had been with my dd. I didn't notive any difference in fit.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would, although I would only buy them when on offer
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes
foodie12345 · 27/10/2014 18:17

DD 13 months size 4+
-What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

Good design, worked well & fitted well, not bulky as other brands. Did not make DD uncomfortable.

-How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

Really well, no leaks and did not irritate my DD skin.

-Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would use them again but only when they are on promotion. They are so expensive compared to the Aldi nappies I usually use.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?

Yes I would recommend them for dryness and fit

Featherbag · 27/10/2014 19:20

Please state the age of your child and the size of Active Fit nappies you were trying in your response.

DS2 is 11mo and we were trying size 4.

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
Good - they're nice and thin so don't restrict movement, and they gave good protection during the day.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
Day time great, but night time we had the first leaks he's ever had. After 3 soggy nights in a row we went back to Baby Dry.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, they were great during the day and he's VERY active!
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes, the fit was particularly impressive, but not for night use.
petalsandstars · 27/10/2014 19:28

DD aged 16 months in size 5

Overall impression is that they are good nappies, fit is good and they are slimmer than others so easier for movement.

Performance was good both day and night but there is an odd smell which I've not noticed with other brands.

I would use them again but only if they are on offer as they are more expensive than my regular brand.

I would recommend them but with the price caveat.

Abc135 · 27/10/2014 19:32
  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
They seemed ok initially for a disposable nappy, however they have a very strange smell to them which is amplified when they are wet.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
At night she would have leaked and be wet through her clothes
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
No, I did not like the smell and the fact they didn't last her through the night.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Maybe for fit but not dryness
TallRedhead · 27/10/2014 19:45

DS 8 months size 3+

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
Good daytime nappy. Good fit. Nice picture on them!
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
Only good for daytime as my ds fills a full nappy overnight!
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would - for daytime only.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes but not for night.
paddlenorapaddle · 27/10/2014 20:20
  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
Slim good strong tape but oh my word the smell of them what is that ?
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
Very well especially through the night
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Price but more then likely
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
Yes if it came up in conversation
coco2303 · 27/10/2014 20:21

15 month old daughter size 4 nappies

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
They did seem less bulky as other brands and my daughter was happy enough running around in them. They do smell different to other brands I gave used.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
they were very good of a night at keeping my daughter dry. However, we did have a couple of poo explosions that the nappy didn't manage to contain.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would if they were on offer.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
For fit yes, and for night time bit if you ate anything like me and frequently change their nappy throughout the day I don't think the extra cost is necessary.
ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 27/10/2014 20:34

Please state the age of your child and the size of Active Fit nappies

Age 2
Size 5

  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?

Overall very good. Liked the look, fit and performance of them.

  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?

Dd doesn't wee much at night so they were mostly dry in the mornings. They kept her very dry and totally irritant free from any wee.
During the day they held their shape well and didn't sag, drew the wee away from dd's skin. She doesn't poo in nappies so can't comment on that I'm afraid.

  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes if they were on offer. I wouldn't pay full price for them but would choose them if on offer.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?

Yes I would.

AntoinetteCosway · 27/10/2014 20:50

DD, aged 3, size 5.

Overall impression: fine. In honesty, no different to any other decent nappy we've tried though...

Performance: good. No leaks, didn't come undone or anything like that.

Use again: only if they were on an amazing offer. They don't seem any better than or different to Aldi's or Asda's, both of which are miles cheaper.

Recommend: I would, with the caveat that they're bloody expensive for what they are!

Selinemaratima · 27/10/2014 22:15

What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
• Very flexible, slim but still quite padded and due to flexibility, more comfortable
How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
• Through the day I found the 'wee' didn't just congregate to the front of the nappy causing it to sag and cause my little boy to waddle, at night I change him immediately in the morning and thought they were just fine, although with a 'poo' I felt they weren't as absorbent/didn't contain it well - my LO was covered

Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would but maybe not at night

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
I would absolutely and do use them myself during the day

Selinemaratima · 27/10/2014 22:20

Ps have used them for past four years with DD & DS but sporadically and yes agree with OP now I think of it, the smell is slightly off putting!

shoebedo434 · 27/10/2014 23:10

used for boy aged 2 years and 9 months, tried 4+ nappies
I liked these nappies, they were a good fit and he seemed comfortable
I didn't need to change him too often and there was no leakages
there was no problems at night time, there was no accidents or issues and he seemed happy
he liked the designs on the nappies and I liked the compact packaging
I would buy and recommend this nappies

idleweiss · 28/10/2014 00:43
  • What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
There was a very strong almost chemical smell off them..put me off a bit! Apart from that I thought the designs were sweet and liked the fact they were quite thin.
  • How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
Ok...when my little one wore it at night..in the morning, a lot of the times I found his pjs would be damp Ashe had done such big wees it had seeped through the nappy! During the day they were fine.
  • Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Hmm..if they were on offer (half price) I would consider buying them from time to time...for use in the day time.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
I'm not sure..I wasn't entirely convinced myself on the dryness part...
idleweiss · 28/10/2014 00:48

Oops! Forgot to say I tried size 3 for my DS who is 5months old! [Blush]
