I used Baby Dry size 4 with my 19 month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I am a regular Pampers user, but I have only used Baby-Dry when my babies have been little and I've then changed to Active Fit, even overnight. I wouldn't use them again as I found that they were very prone to overnight leakage and far from the urine being locked away from her skin, it was very wet and exposed, the nappy would be drooping and her clothes soaking.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I only really buy Pampers nappies, but compared to Active Fit, I found them a really poor substitute. I have only ever had 2 or 3 major leaks with them over 3 babies, but I had 3 major leaks from 1 bag of Baby-Dry. They really didn't live up to their name!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

No, I would rather spend more on the Active Fit and know that at the end of 8 or so hours, my daughter is still dry!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No, because of the problems I have found with them as described above. I would suggest Active Fit instead.

Tested on my 4 month old son (Size 3)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall I found them to be very good. They were a good fit, felt soft and most importantly kept my son dry all night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I found them to be superior than supermarket brands in preventing leakages. They kept my son dry for 12 hours with no leakages. They seemed to be very absorbent and kept the wetness away from his skin.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are expensive in comparison to supermarket brands but it is worth paying extra to have a better quality more absorbent nappy. Also they are on offer in the supermarkets quite often so I tend to stock up then.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend Pampers baby dry to other parents as they are good quality and help prevent overnight leakages.

450fromPaddington · 11/06/2013 18:07

Ive just posted a review on these nappies so I feel repetitive now! In summary though, having tested all other available nappies over the last three years, these are the best in terms of softness, comfort and Leak-Resistance. Every so often I experiment with others because they are cheaper but I always return to BabyDry. I don't like ActiveFit because they're less soft and feel less comfy against baby's skin. Just like other brands eg Tesco, Asda, Huggies, CheekyBots.
I have gone from having no babies to having three of them within the space of eighteen months, so I now know more about nappies than I ever planned to!!! Perhaps it could be my Mastermind topic. . .

littleredmonkey · 11/06/2013 20:26

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

In general very good, had less accidents. Have pretty much always used them as we got more leaks from other makes. Little man seems quite comfy in them too.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

In general best out of all the other makes we have tried. Though I think the 12 hour claim is pushing it, unless our man is more widdly then other babies??? Recently had a few wet nights after 9 hours.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Think they are very good value especially if you shop around. Why? because they have been the most problemn free.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I do if anyone asks and mention they are having a few nappy problems.

moneypenny123 · 11/06/2013 20:29

I tried size 4 on my 16 month old. They lasted his 12 hour sleep. I can't recall them ever leaking. Yes Pampers are more expensive than some other brands but I tend to bulk buy when they are on offer.

My son has never had nappy rash.

I would and do recommend them. I wouldn't use any other brand of nappy.

I was selected to test these by mums net Hq and received a free sample. These are my own views though.

iloveholidays · 11/06/2013 20:31

Tested on my 6 month old daughter - tested size 3.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I found the baby dry nappies very absorbent and generally held my daughters urine overnight -even with a couple of feeds each night. They did leak occasionally, but more often than not were find. I would use them again as I didn't need to change during the night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

My daughter felt dry the majority of the time, apart from a couple of times first thing in the morning after a full night in the nappy. In terms of leakage there were a couple of times that it didn't last the full night. I did however find that the did not hold bowel movements for my breastfed daughter often.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are expensive full price however would buy when on offer. The cost per nappy does seem a lot.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend pampers baby dry just because they generally would hold a lot of urine and also are a good fit without being too bulky.

iwantbabies · 11/06/2013 21:01

I used Pampers Baby Dry size 3 on my 3 month old son.

Q1
Fantastic nappies all round. Very soft on baby's skin in comparison to other disposable nappies and not bulky. Will definitely use them again.

Q2
I originally bought well-known reusable brand nappies but decided to use these disposables for the first 1-2 weeks. When we changed to the reusables I didn't feel my son was as comfortable at all. I also didn't like to see his skin so wet in the reusables. I tried other supermarket brands but Pampers are definitely the best. The Pampers Baby Dry have excellent absorbency and contain all moisture throughout the night. I didn't have any issues with skin irritation or nappy rash. Other disposable brands don't compare in terms of leakage and absorbency. Also, better than Pampers Active Fit. My only complaint is the chemical smell that comes off them.

Q3
They are the most expensive but there always seems to be an offer on somewhere. Like most mothers on maternity pay, I would prefer them to be cheaper.

Q4
Yes, and already have. Softest disposable nappy on newborn skin and very absorbent.

NRM13 · 11/06/2013 21:14

I tried size 3 for my 5 month old.

Q1 I was really impressed with the Baby-Dry nappies for overnight use. They kept my little wriggle bum dry through the night and we didn't feel the need to change her during the night as with other brands. I would definitely use them again (and have been in fact!)

Q2 They didn't leak at all, whereas other big name brands come up quite small and do tend to leak. Especially with solids! Ew!

Q3 They are quite expensive if purchased in smaller packs but the larger packs bring the price down from around 20p per nappy to about 14p per nappy, so much more economical and also in line with the supermarket brands.

Q4 I would definitely recommend Pampers Baby-Dry. I am in fact starting to make baby gifts such as nappy cakes and I have been using Pampers for these gifts to ensure that new mum's get to use good quality nappies.

All in all - a very happy product test for mum and baby's bum!

projectg · 11/06/2013 21:18

I tried the size 4 nappies on my 6 month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall impression was very good. They kept my baby dry, sometimes for well over 12 hours at night time (I am blessed with a good sleeper) and there was plenty of flexibility around the legs. Yes I would definitely use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Far superior to other brands on both accounts.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do think they are value for money when purchased in the supermarket special offers. Otherwise slightly expensive. That said, I would probably still buy them for the peace of mind that they aren't going to leak overnight.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend them. For the peace of mind that they won't leak overnight and I don't have to rush to change my baby first thing in the morning. I'll definitely be recommending anything that gives me a bit longer in bed!

I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.

CurlyKatie · 11/06/2013 21:50

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you were trying in your response.
My DS was 23 months and we tried size 4

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Great nappies, would use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

We have used baby dry since birth along with pampers sensitive wipes. Aside from occasional times when we have used active fit or borrowed other nappies from friends when out and about. We love the baby dry. We have never had a leak and never had so much as a spot of nappy rash. I still have to full pots of sudocream that I bought before my son was born.
The active fit don't fit so well and whenever we have been given another brand of nappies from other friends they just seem a bit cheap.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

We think so but then again I always look around for deals.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely.

I trialled the pampers baby dry size 4 although I had requested size 3 so I'm afraid the trial couldn't be completed properly! I emailed mums net regarding this but no reply :-(

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

The nappies were ok but being as I was trialling a size too big for my baby it's difficult to give an honest opinion. I didn't find them to be as good as the new baby nappies if I'm honest! And nit sure if I'd use them again, I'm currently looking to try Aldi own brand "Mamia" as I have heard lots of excellent feedback from other mums on them!?

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

As above I didn't find them to be as good as the pampers new baby nappies, leakage was terrible and they seemed to smell strongly of urine as soon as my LB urinated in them - also think they should have the "wet" indicator on them like the new baby nappies as this was brilliant!!!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I can't really comment on the value of the pampers baby dry nappies as I haven used an other brands as yet to compare them to

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend pampers but not necessarily the baby dry range - definitely new baby ones, and the reason I wouldn't recommend them is as above in question 2

Missbobbins · 12/06/2013 09:32

I tried size 4 for my 7 month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I found these to be a very good fit - we have tried others but they repeatedly leaked. She is a prolific widdler and these manage to stand up to the test. They are flexible and soft - would definitely use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They did very well and there were no leaks. They were comfy all day and all night. She is a wriggler and they just wriggled with her!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do find them expensive but then they seem to be a better nappy so well worth the extra. It saves on changing so often and also with fewer leaks it saves on the washing too.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend these nappies as they are the best ones that I have found!

Thank you!!

DianaDi · 12/06/2013 10:52

I tested Pampers baby dry nappies on my 5 months old daughter and all I can say I love them. No nappy changing during the night and brilliant for longer trips in car and hot weather. No leeks. Definitely recommend.

spookylittlekitty · 12/06/2013 11:48

Size 4 on a 6.5 month old

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Really liked them, they seemed to rub less than other nappies and there were no nighttime leaks. Would definately try again

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Much better than the other pampers range and sainsburys range. About the same as the ASDA range

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are quite good value for money, especially if brought on supermarket multibuy offers.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes as they seemed to do exactly what they promised

DanielleandTily · 12/06/2013 12:55

We tried the size 3 nappies. Tily Mae is 5 months

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not? - We were pleased with the nappies. They kept Tily Mae dry for the 12 hours even when she feeds most at night and the nappies were full her bum was still dry. The designs were cute. Nappies are soft and flexible. Will defiantly buy for use during the night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? - We were very impressed. With other brands and economy pampers we were changing Tily at 3am with Baby-Dry we did not need to change during the night. Also bum was always dry and had no leakage.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why? - Compared to other brands and the amount of nappies you get the are a bit pricey. However it is important to us that are baby stays dry through the night and is comfortable so we would pay the price for the Baby-Dry. Also we use regular pampers during the day and would use baby-dry for nights so 1 pack would last us 45 nights.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I have already recommended Pampers Baby-Dry to a friend. As they keep Tily dry all night with no leaks, and seems happy and with no nappy rash.

Busywoman0109 · 12/06/2013 12:58

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Very impressed. Yes, we will use them from now on for overnight nappies.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
We have only used one other brand nappy but they leaked a lot! My only criticism is whilst for wetness they are brilliant, as soon as my son poops in a Baby Dry nappy, they then leak. Bit of an issue if he does it at night therefore as it results in a complete clothing/bedding change every time.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Good value as you're almost guaranteed to only need one nappy for the entire night! One pack could in theory last you a month!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Have already passed on recommendations to fellow new mums!

sam86 · 12/06/2013 13:28

I tried size 4 nappies

Question1
I found the fit was perfect on my sixth month old son. Other brands vary a lot on him even though still a size 4 and within his weight range, but the pampers had the best fit.
Overall I thought they were a great nappy, and I would buy again when on offer. They looked cute, were reliable, and kept my little mans bum happy!

Question 2
There were no leakages during the trial- no poop up the back either! They kept his skin dry and he only had nappy rash when on antibiotics.

Question 3
I think they are a bit more expensive than others, but they are also great quality. I would buy when on offer only.

Question 4
Yes I would recommend them

VivClicquot · 12/06/2013 13:57

I tried size 3 nappies on my 7 month old daughter.

Q1 - I am a regular user of Baby Dry for overnight nappies, and so was very happy with the improved range. In hindsight, I think my baby is ready to move up to a size 4 as we've had a few overnight leaks over the last couple of days, but this is a recent development and probably due to a growth spurt, rather than being the fault of Pampers.

Q2 See above. I definitely think Baby Dry offer greater protection against overnight leakage when compared to other brands.

Q3 While Pampers is more expensive than other brands, I do think you get what you pay for when it comes to nappies. The material is much softer against my baby's skin.

Q4 Yes, absolutely.

AnnieB82 · 12/06/2013 14:28

My baby is 9 and a half months old and testing size 4 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall I found the nappies great, they are very soft and I have not had any leaks yet. What I like about pampers is that they really absorb wetness compared to other nappies, making my baby more comfortable. I would use these again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I would say Pampers are the best on the market in terms of dryness and leakage protection.
Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Well considering I find Pampers nappies the best, I would understand a higher price for the qualit - that said though, competitors' brands are often half price, so when we really have to budget I will end up buying other brands, and leave Pampers for when I'm in a shop that sells them as a treat!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
It's a discussion that comes up frequently amongst new mothers, and I Think we generally agree Pampers are best quality but we cannot Always afford them. Certainly for new Babies Pampers are recommended.

Twixxie · 12/06/2013 15:01

We tested out size three Pampers Baby Dry nappies for our four month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

The nappies are good quality and seem a good fit on my tubby baby's bottom. We would prefer to use them to other cheaper brands if we could afford to do so!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Pampers provide the best protection for baby, they're the driest on her bottoms and definitely don't risk any nappy rask. Her bf baby poo did leak once but it's usually a daily occurrence in other brands so this is an improvement!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

As a household we go for the cheapest brands possibly so long as they are still working for us. We can't stretch to Pampers normally, they're more a sort of treat! I bought a few packs when she was newborn and would but them if they're on offer but as a general rule, I would prefer to save money by buying other brands.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, definitely. They're the best brand by far and I have told many people that!

Jessicasmummy2011 · 12/06/2013 17:08

I tried size 3 on my 6 week old boy.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I found these a snug fit unlike own brand nappies I had been using, they were not bulky even when soiled.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I found them fantastic for keeping in explosive loads, we had no nasty leaks.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I find Pampers a bit expensive, however when I was preganant I bought in bulk whilst they were on offer, I think if you shop around and purchase them when on offer they can be good value for money.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I definitely would recommend Pampers baby dry to other parents especially if they are on offer.

babySophieRose · 12/06/2013 18:47

My DD is 19 months, tried size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall they are good, better than supermarkets own brands. We are now using them all the time. Haven't been happy with active fit and thought baby dry are the same, but they are definitely more absorbent.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They keep my LO dry for longer than other brands, but still have to change during the night.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They probably are good value as the last longer than other brands we have tried, larger boxes do not come too expensive.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes,I would recommend them as they keep my LO dry for 5-6 hours, they are soft, still leaked at times, but my LO is very active and that is probably the reason, as all brands can leak from time to time.

NaveedeIslam · 12/06/2013 19:21

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Its always been a fab experience with Pampers baby dry, they doesn't leak even at night time for 12 hrs sound sleep. i will def use them and using at the moment as well because i think its perfect for my little girl's soft skin

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
*I don't trust any other brand except pampers because they are extra thin but extra absorbent, which allows comfort for no leakageSmile

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are good for the price

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I do recommend pampers to every Mum

upanddown83 · 12/06/2013 19:27

Q1 liked the nappies kept baby dry would buy them

Q2 baby's skin not as red after using pampers compared to other nappies

Q3 pamper are more expensive but don't have to use as many so good value

Q4 I would recommend them to a friend

Oliviaward · 12/06/2013 19:38

My LO is 4 months old and I used the size 3.

Q1 I liked the baby dry nappies as they were absorbent for 12 hours. I like that they appear softer and more comfortable to my baby. I would definitely keep using them. Have actually just ordered a Giga Pack!

Q2 They didn't leak and seem to offer the same sort of absorbency than the pampers new baby nappies. They are better in that they feel softer and don't smell of chemicals as much. They seem slightly lumpier but I like the way they offer another 2 kg so I easily transitioned from new baby to baby dry. I would prefer if they too had the wet indicator strip as easy to check and my husband always looks for it and then changes my LO!!

Q3 If you buy the Giga packs they are very good value I think as they may be more expensive than other brands but at least you can trust them not to break and they kept my LO dry for 12 hours over night.

Q4 I would def recommend them as they seem comfortable and very absorbent.
