I have tested the Size 3 nappies on my gorgeous little 7 month old daughter.

My overall impression was that they are fabulous...I have been using them for a while, having chosen them over other brands and supermarket brands too.

They are softer and more flexible than other ones and they don't seem as bulky when they are dry or wet. I use them as night-time nappies (and use Active-fit during the day). This has been great as on some occasions my little girl decides it's OK for mummy to have a rest and she'll sleep through the night. With these nappies I know that she'll be comfortable all night and I won't be covering her in rash cream all the next day!

I have had some leakages...of the number two variety...but to be fair I don't think anything would have kept it in! We are weaning and she loves trying lots of different things...she just adores dried apricots...but they have an adverse effect in the nappy department! ;)
But, for the main part we never have any other leakages, which we have had with other brands.

I think they are great value for money as they do exactly what they say they will...keep her dry for 12 hours and keep the moisture locked away from her skin. We have had no problems, touch wood, with nappy rash...except when she's been teething, but even then it's minimal and I really feel that Pampers is helping keep it so.

Of course it would be great if they were cheaper...but then it's a price I'm willing to pay to keep her bottom soft and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend them to other parents...I'm not even sure I'd wait for it to come up in conversation! ;)

Yes, I will use them all the time now. I like them because they are very thin and soft and don't feel plasticky but I'm not so keen on the slightly chemical smell and her bottom still got a little red (she is very prone to nappy rash). Although I do like the eco-credentials of Naty's and they smell better


Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They kept her skin dry through the night and there was no leakage I prefer them to other nappies I recently got some supermarket own brand and Boots nappies which left her very damp.

Yes, they are thinner and kept her drier.

Used size 4 for 5 month old. I use real nappies during the day but a disposable at night as he sleeps 12hrs and is a heavy wetter! I currently use aldi own nappies. Have dry nights with both nappies, pampers do seem dryer to the touch so presumably dryer on babies bum. They do have a strange smell, no rashes I don't use cream. Will buy if on offer and would recommend to people. The only other point is they seem to gather alot and hang down around groin area presume from weight of full nappy.

I tested the size 4 nappies on my 7 month old.

The nappies were absoulty brilliant! I would definatly use them again. It kept him try through 8 hours sleep.

They are much better than all other nappies that i have tried, other nappies were not as flexible, dry or as soft.

I think pampers are brilliant value for nappies, they may not be as cheap as the supermarket brands, but i prefer spend that extra money on a brand i turst and no will keep my baby comfortable and dry.

I would recommend pampers to other parents, i cannot fault them.

Yes, easy to put on baby and he seems to find them comfortable. Nice unobtrusive design and stay fastened well.

They are the best in terms of leakage by some way. I find dryness on a par with most other brands.

I thought they were quite good, my little girl didn't leek at all but she did av some miner nappy rash. Over all tho I found them good. 9/10

I found them good my little girl didn't leek at all aprt from when he did a big number 2 it come up her back and out the nappy tht way but I find with her all nappys r the same.

I liked them. No leaks- the most important thing! They were easy to put on and not bulky.

They leak less than other brands. Overnight my daughter has defeated most other brands. The level if dryness is good.

I really liked them, they are slim and more absorbant than any other I have tried. DD has had a tummy upset so presented a range of different fillings and they have dealt with almost all, a bit of leakage around the legs with particularly explosive diarrhoea but otherwise very good. DD did get nappy rash in them but I think this was due to the illness rather than the nappies as it cleared up and she is still using them without any recurrence.

I have only tried pampers and boots before, they are much better than both pampers activefit and boots own brand, I use them during the day as well as at night as I haven't found anything else that really keeps her dry.

They are more expensive than many other types but I am prepared to pay more for something that really keeps her dry

very plasticy feeling on the outside, i like the design i.e the extra frills to keep in leaks and i like the pattern on the nappies themselves. but the smell in the morning is disgusting, really strong smell of wee/chemicals. after these have gone i wont be buying them to use over night. I mainly use reuseable nappies, so i only use disposables at night or out on long journeys. i may buy them if i need to for daytime use but not overnight, just because of that smell. reminds me of poor uncared for babies who are left in their nappies for hours on end.

the pricing is good when i look at the list here, but when next to others in a supermarket they are more expensive and i would only purchase with a coupon or if they were on offer.

possibly not, because of the smell. the big selling point for these disposables is the 12 hour night use thing, but I'd rather not leave my baby in it because the smell makes me feel like he's festering in wee. he may well be dry for those 12 hours but he smells, the poor soul!

When I signed up for the trial pack we were using Pampers Active fits overnight but have since moved to cloth full time. We have used the trial pack and were impressed with the absorbancy, shape and comfort of them. We won't be using them again but it was nice to see the difference between the Active Fits and Baby-Dry. I think overall we do prefer the Active fits though so if we go back to disposables we'll prob stick with the Active Fits

They worked very well overnight and we didn't have to change my little boy until morning. We luckily had no leaks at all!

I think that the Baby-Dry nappies are excellent value for money but like most mums out there I wouldn't pay those prices, instead I'd stock up during baby events when they are on sale and just leave them in my garage until they fit ;)

If it came up in conversation I defiantly would recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies. The Pampers brand no matter which type of nappy are a very reliable brand that I have got on very well with since having my little boy.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Nice soft, non-bulky nappy. Good fit, although as with all Pampers nappies, they gape at the back. The flexi tab makes nappy changes easier and the extra attachment flap also helps to prevent chafing from the sticky tab - a great design feature.
I always use Pampers but prefer Active Fit as I find them a little softer.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
My baby had a growth spurt between ordering the nappies and receiving them so size 3 was a little too small. This is why I think I had 3 leakages (wee only), as I didn't secure the nappy too tightly. Otherwise the nappy kept my baby nice and dry, and moisture was locked away after 8-10 hours overnight.

They are good value for money, particularly when bought on offer, and when one considers how soft they are compared to cheaper brands.

Yes I would recommend this product, although Pampers Active fit is still my first choice as they are a little softer.

My daughter is 7 months, we're testing Size 4 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

We've used them before, and will continue to do so. I started our daughter in reusable nappies with every intention of carrying on until potty training; but I couldn't find a brand or type that suited her at all. We tried a supermarket own brand and were greeted with poonamis every.single.morning. Since moving to Simply Dry and now Baby Dry, we've only had one or two leakage issues. They're also considerably less bulky than some others and look more comfortable on her.


Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They're the best I've tried. We've not had any night-time leaks, and as I said above, one or two of the stinky variety; and those were mostly because she was sat in a bumbo when she did her business.

Considering I'm washing considerably less clothes and ruining less vests since changing, I'd say the extra you pay for Pampers over supermarket own brands make the price worth it.

I would relay my experiences with them and suggest they're worth a try, yes.

They are the best nappies that I have used so far. They work well during the day and can cope with our very wriggly and bouncy DS but can also manage 12+ hours whilst DS is asleep. I will continue to use them as I haven't found any other nappies as reliable. Less importantly, I like the green dot pattern on them and the little images (stars, hearts etc) of which there seem to be a variety in the pack. They are also quite thin. In comparison I tried some supermarket-own brand nappies which came highly recommended, but they were quite bulky (and very plain! Again not that important but obviously made an impression on me...).

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Much drier. Only ones not to leak during the night - including compared with other Pampers lines. They also don't leak during the day and can hold plenty of poop - we've had other brands not hold up unfortunately. However on the one occasion that DS pooped during the night - highly unusual for him, was going through teething and had very runny poop, and he will not wake up any earlier if it happens so we are not woken to change him - we did end up with leakage. I don't think I would have found any other brand better though, based on previous experience. And fortunately it wasn't a big leak - again, compared with previous experience we got off lightly there.

Yes - they are cheaper than some other brands and other Pampers lines and the per nappy price when you buy the large packs (like the Jumbo box), especially if they're on offer, is very reasonable in my opinion. I've used some slightly cheaper supermarket-own brands but I had to change the nappies much more regularly during the day and they didn't last at night so it turned out to be a false economy.

Yes I would, because of the above reasons largely. I think that they are a good price and the best quality I have come across, and can deal with pretty much anything a baby has to offer them! I also think that some of the other cheaper brands that claim to be better than 'the leading brand' are a false economy, based on our experience with them and compared with Pampers Baby Dry.

I have always used Pampers nappies with all my kids, starting from the premature baby ones and right up to pull ups (although I will say that my 3.5 year old seems to prefer the other pullups because the Pampers ones always slide down thanks to him being so tall and skinny). I have tried numerous other brands but I always go back to Pampers. These ones are really good, although they feel a lot more like the active fit ones than the Baby Dry I am used to. I often buy her active fit for the day and baby dry for night because she is always wriggly and climbing.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
They are awesome, my daughter has always had very wet nappies after an hour or two, Pampers are really the only brand that don't require me to change multiple outfits due to leakage or just saturation.

I always seem to have coupons for Pampers nappies either from stores or from Pampers, they are always on offer everywhere but usually I purchase them in bulk from Boots. I think they are great value for money, but considering that I haven't found any other brand of nappy that my daughter doesn't react badly with, to me they are worth the slightly higher cost and I am always happy to pay it.

Yes, I frequently recommend Pampers nappies to friends and family who are expecting.

2. Compared well with others - in terms of dryness and non leakage they were second to none...much better than active fit. I've enjoyed baby naty nappies before but soon gone off them after finding they leaked and also caused nappy rash after any prolonged use.
   
3. Nappies in the uk are not cheap. I like the idea of the bigger boxes but i for one have never even seen or heard of giga box...i have no idea where to access these nice big cheaper boxes so generally end up paying a premium for smaller packs.
   

1. I would definitely recommend pampers baby dry over and above all other brands. I am currently expecting my eighth baby and have used baby dry with them all

Pretty good and will step up to these once she's sleeping longer through the night. Better than the newborn ones so once those have run out we'll switch to these.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? Better than newborn for leakage but just changed her after only 5 day time hours and the nappy and her were soaking.

Pretty good value but could be better in terms of needing fewer because they would keep her drier for longer.

Yes I probably would and have mentioned this test to a couple of them. They're better than newborn so would recommend once they're out of size 1 then to start considering these. I think they over egg the pudding with the 12 hours claim as my DD was soaking after 5 hours but given she won't be sleeping for 12 hours any time soon it's not a deal breaker.

Tested size 4 on 5 month old. Use real nappies during the day but disposable at night as he sleeps 12hrs and us a heavy wetter. Keeps him dry for 12hrs fit ok just hangs heavy between legs when wet. Will buy when offers on as expensive otherwise compared to aldi own that I buy. Would recommend to other people as do what they say they do, just an issue of cost.

Q1 overall very impressed - would def use again. Son seemed very happy, no probs over 12 hour night use

Q3 due to them being more expensive I'd look to use at night time, but use cheaper brand / style in day when we're changing more frequently. Or would only buy if on special offer

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Mostly I'm impressed with these nappies. We have had no overnight wee leakage but unfortunately ds has had diarrhoea this week so when he "exploded" at 5.30am after being in the nappy about 7.5 hours there was some poop leakage out of one leg. Weve had another couple of leaky diarrhoea issues but it may just be isolated and due to ds not being well. Dd hasnt had a single leak. Although I generally change their nappies after each feed I often choose babydry for a day out so that if we don't find a convenient babychange area I don't have to worry about them being in the same nappy for longer than the usual 3-4 hours. I will definitely chose babydry again and always for overnight. I often use them in the day but may opt for a cheaper supermarket own brand when we're just staying home as it can get very expensive with 2 babies especially as my toddler is still in nappies too.

I think for dryness they are unbeatable. A thicker softer nappy is good for soft baby poo but I think babydry are a great all-rounder.

I do think they are good value because they do the job and are reliable. They are more expensive than many other brands though and nappies are an area I would look to save money in if things were a bit tight. Having said that I'd probably still use them overnight but use something else in the day.

I would recommend them because I have used them trouble free for almost 2 years now and with 3 children. They seem to fit my children well but aren't big and bulky. I also believe my children are more comfy in them overnight as a wet nappy doesn't disturb or wake them even though it may be absolutely sodden come morning.

My son is 3 1/2 months old and we tested the size 3 nappies. He weighs about 13.5lbs.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall I was happy with the performance of the nappies. I haven't had any issues with wee leaks even after he's been in it all night. They are much nicer to use than all the other brands I've tried. Much softer, thinner and stretchier in the leg giving an overall impression of greater comfort for baby. They also don't smell quite as bad as a lot of the other brands.
My only complaint is that they offer no protection whatsoever from breastfed baby poo! It doesn't matter how tight I do them up, it just explodes straight up the back. Ever since my first son was born nearly 9 years ago I've preferred Pampers to any other brand, however I have been steering clear this time around because of the poo explosions. I never had this problem with my previous 2 boys when they used Pampers, maybe my youngest just explodes with extra force?! I feel a bit of extra stretch in the waist band would possibly help combat this.
Now my son has started sleeping through the night more I'd happily use Baby Dry over night, but for daytime protection I'll keep looking for a better nappy.

For dryness and protection from wee leaks I can't fault them. Compared to other brands my son needs changing far less frequently and they don't stink as soon as they're wet unlike some other brands.

They are pricey however cheaper nappies are often false economy. Supermarket brands often need changing in the middle of the night which interrupts baby's sleep whereas I can trsut Baby Dry to last through until morning.

Yes I'd happily recommend Pampers Baby Dry to other Mums. They're great for nighttime use.
