Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you were trying in your response.

My DS is 16 months old and I tested size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall first impression was great. They look cute and they seem well designed. I would definitely use them/buy them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They're the best in terms of dryness a d they score highly for leakage protection too.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They're not cheep but I would say that they're worth the money considering how good they are.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend them. Having said that, they may not be such a perfect fit on a more chubby baby (DS is quite lean!) so I would qualify my recommendation by saying that I found them excellent but not everyone may do!

Thank you for letting me take part!

Nightfall1983 · 10/06/2013 16:45

Ooh I'm very late to this, sorry Helen and sorry Pampers

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They are effective, neat, no horrid smell, not too bulky. We use cloth nappies during the day but they are not absorbant enough for nighttime, these are perfect lasting a full 12 hours even for my slow-to-wean-therefore-drinks-a-litre-of-milk-a-day-DS - I will continue to use them at night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

These are the only nappies that I have so far come across that last a full 12 hours with no leaks - I have tried lots of others.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are very expensive, even if we didn't use cloth nappies I would not use Pampers during the day - pretty much all the other nappies are fine for 3 hrs or so in the day. They are worth the cost at night though.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would, as I say they are great for us, however I would caution all parents that since all babies are different shapes it is worth trying lots of different types to find the ones that work for you...

Sodabread · 10/06/2013 16:47

I tried size three on my 4 month old.

Q1) overall impression was good. Nappy was slim and seemed to fit well. I would definitely use again.

Q2). My little one had no leaks in this nappy, and her bottom didn't look at all rashy afterwards. I didn't use them for the full 12 hours though, as my little one is never down for that long! I have found pampers generally better at not leaking, although as she reaches the top end of the weight range I realised I need to change to the next size up otherwise there are a lot of leaks.

Q3.) they are not cheap, but I would not say they are bad value and for the lack of leaks I would pay more. I may be tempted to 'save' them for overnight or times when it might not be possible to change easily,

Q4.) yes I would recommend them.

Schmaffy · 10/06/2013 16:49

I really liked these nappies and have continued to buy them. I already used the active fit during the day and use the baby dry at night. They haven't leaked on my very wriggly nearly 2 year old and have kept him drier than alternatives.

I consider them good value for money and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

applecharlotte · 10/06/2013 16:50

My DS is 2 and we tried size 4

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They didn't fit him so I couldn't try them out. If they were cheaper then my usual Sainsbury's brand ones I would probably try the bigger sizes if I saw them in the shops.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

n/a

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are more expensive then the brand and I use usually eg. 22 nappies for £3.50

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

n/a

Ninja1975 · 10/06/2013 16:59

I tried the stage 4 on my 9 month old daughter.

Thought the nappies were great, have used other brands along with pampers previously and pampers are my favourite.

Dryness and leakage ok, although on the odd occasion she did leak a little.

I think pampers are good value !

I would recommend pampers as they are lovely and soft compared to own label and cheaper brands, and have not caused any nappy rash either.

Beffnal · 10/06/2013 17:00

Baby is aged 7 months, used size 4
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Good impression, i would definitely use them again. Although not entirely leak-proof at night, the nappy was on for more than 12 hours so that's fair enough! I would use them again.
Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Better.
Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Good value for money as in my experience they are the most reliable. I try and buy them when they're on special offer in the supermarkets.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, other brands may be cheaper but Pampers are most reliable.

MrsBrown82 · 10/06/2013 17:01

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

  • Overall impression is that the nappies are a fantastic product and I would use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

  • I would say the dryness was better and the protection about the same as the usual Lidl nappy.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

  • Pampers are a premium product with a premium price and you do get what you pay for. Price per nappy is quite high, though I do try to shop around to see which supermarkets have the best offer. For me personally I cannot justify the extra cost when Lidl's nappies do a good enough job.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

  • I would recommend these nappies because they are a great product and deliver what's promised. However, I would add the caveat 'if money's no worry', only because there's so much more exciting stuff to spend your money on for your baby instead.
chubbymomie2012 · 10/06/2013 17:16

Q1.
My overall impression is that although not the cheapest nappies these are good fitting and great on my babies sensitive skin. So i will be using them in future.

Q2.
The dryness was great. My lads have sensitive skin and while using these nappies there has been no redness or irritation which they can experience with some of the cheaper nappies.

Q3.
I really do think they are value for money for us anyway as the lads have sensitive skin they need to be kept dry.I didnt need to change them as often in the pampers dry so I used less of them. i have usd them ever since.

Q4.
I think its so important for my baby to be happy and they both are when they dont have sore bums!!! so 100% yes i would defo recommend these nappies to any one. I think Nappies is one thing I wont be compromising on. If baby is comfy he will be happier.

mrsbradley11 · 10/06/2013 17:18

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? really good so good in fact iv gone and brought 2 giga packs!. my little girl went a whole night without a change which was beautiful!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? no leaks, fitted really well on the bottom!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
the giga pack is defiantly, I wouldn't buy the smaller packs though as they are not as good value!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? yes I would, I already have!

sparklyeyes1983 · 10/06/2013 17:19

Hi I used the size 3 nappies, my baby is 4 months old.

Q1. I really enjoyed using the pampers brand I've never thought of having a night time nappy to help with dryness but they were amazing!! I loved them, I'm so glad I took part in the study because I would never have known how great they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Q2. I normally use a supermarket own brand nappy and these were NO comparison what so ever!!! They were fantastic for dryness, my baby didn't wake once during the night which was amazing considering I usually have to change his nappy twice a night. There was NO leakage at all. He was completely dry in the morning! Happy smiles all round.

Q3. I think Pampers is such good value for money as they let me and baby sleep all night knowing he was completely dry, to me that's worth every single penny. Great value. Yes they may be slightly more costly than supermarket brands however I think if you want peace of mind and the best for your baby choose Pampers!

Q4. It doesn't need to come up in conversation because I have already recommended Pampers to my friends and family. I loved them and so did my baby!!

Can I also say I absolutely loved the design on the front and back of the nappies! It was great for boys or girls and it helped grandparents know which way to do up the nappy. Very helpful.

mummyshore · 10/06/2013 17:21

Tried size 4 for my 5month old and was very impressed and my little girl wore for 11hrs at night with no leaks. They fit better than other brands and will be buying them from now on even though they are a little bit more money but you end up using less. I would recommend them to my friends Aswell.

Emmaaddai · 10/06/2013 17:23

i used them on my 19 months old size 4.

  1. They do exactly what they say they do, keep your baby dry! I won't use any other brand!
  2. They don't leak as other brands i have tried have done.
  3. I think they are great value for money! There are always specials on them. I don't think twice about the cost as they work!
  4. Will always recommend them, great value!
HoneyMumandSon · 10/06/2013 17:32

We tried size 3 on our 7 month old little boy weighing about 15lbs

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I wasn't impressed with these. I wouldn't describe my little boy as a 'heavy wetter' (the pampers active fit we usually use in the same size quite happily see him through the night normally if he sleeps that long) but these became very swollen and slightly smelly with even small amounts of wee and we often had leaks and the front felt damp after a couple of hours. I wouldn't buy them again for this reason.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Not as good as the other pampers nappies we have used (newborn and active fit) tThe whole area felt damp and seemed very uncomfortable for my little boy.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I would rather pay the slightly higher price for a different type of pampers as they provide more protection for longer.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would not - I did not find them to be as wonderful as they profess to be.

Canadateacher · 10/06/2013 17:36

Q1- The diapers were thin and mostly absorbent. I tried size 4 on my 19 month old son.
Q2- I don't believe there was much difference from other brands on the market. My son leaked up the back a couple nights (he sleeps for 12 hours straight) and through the legs (including a poop) on 2 occasions. This may have been to being super heavy but still made him wake earlier than normal (4am!!). I know the size was correct. I tried the same brand on my older daughter 2 years ago and these current diapers seem to be missing a layer of absorbent material up the back (this would be nice to have back as removing it made the diapers less effective).
Q3- I normally only buy Pampers when they are on offer...though the price is still creeping and there aren't as many money off coupons any more...so price for the product cannot always be justified...also as Huggies won't be trading much longer in the UK, it seems to have gained most of the market for branded nappies- will this have a knock-on effect to competition and pricing?
Q4- Pampers Baby-Dry nappies would be recommended to friends and family members with babies, however, this could only be done with a light heart if the price was better or with a money-off coupon.

Queenie72 · 10/06/2013 17:48

I tried size 4 for my 15 month old.
My little boy is a real pooer and these never leaked.
They are really absorbent and easy to do up ,
My only criticism would be sometimes the little green tab fell off when I was putting nappy on.

  1. Compared to own brand nappies they just seem more substantial , a better fit and never leak.
  1. They are more expensive , but are better quality and I would always buy in bulk/ on offer anyway

4 I would recommend to other mums, I think pampers are by far the best nappies on the market.

terri1884 · 10/06/2013 17:53

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Excellent nappies yes I Would use them again

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Kept my 8 month old dry all night and they also keep smells at bay

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Yes good value for money as I always purchase when on offer

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I always recommend pampers baby dry

mummyd92 · 10/06/2013 18:06

I have tried size 3 pampers baby-dry on my 5 months old baby

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They are lovely, thin and slim, nice designs, the absorbency was great, it keeps her dry through the night sleep, she wakes up for a feed, so i change her by then. Haven't kept it on her 12 hours though!. as she doesn't like wet Nappies.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They hold the wee pretty well, no leakage at all. It only leaked poo a couple of times, but we feel it was most probably us not putting it on perfectly right. I have tried huggies a couple of times, But dont like them. And I like the pampers better, their designs, their soft texture on baby skin.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are good especially when they are on offer on most supermarkets,

Q4

Yes I would definitely recommend. They are RELIABLE []

BabyLabyrinth · 10/06/2013 18:40

DD 13 months old, size 4 Baby-Dry

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very good. Yes, we are still using them. They are reliable!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Better. No leaks, no nappy rash, no clammy bottom.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

More expensive than other brands, but on offer or with vouchers they work out the same or cheaper.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, because they are reliable!

BabyRuSh · 10/06/2013 18:47

Sorry for such a late response. We've had the fortnight from hell with DS having a tummy bug for 2w and dd coming down with a cold. Anyway we had size 4 nappies for DS and used them at night as his morning nappy is usually soaked.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I likes them. They were soft and seemed very comfortable. We didn't have any wee leakage issues, but did have a couple of poo leaks, simply because he wasn't well and had diarrhoea. They stood up to regular poos fine. They tended to be completely soaked in the morning, and yet DS bum seemed fairly dry. The nappy was only slightly damp if I touched it, but his skin felt dry.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Great. We've used huggies in the past which are rubbish in comparison for leakage issues.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they're good value for money, but I only ever get my nappies in bulk or when there's an offer on. I don't think they're good value for money at regular supermarket prices.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes absolutely. They work well. As a side note I loved the indicator lines on the new line of newborn nappies! My h and I were so excited about them. We had multiple arguments when DS was newborn about whether or not he had a wet nappy, and it was so much easier this time with dd thanks to the indicator!

BlazingSquirrel · 10/06/2013 18:49

Tried size 4 on DD, aged 7 months

Q1) Excellent nappies, fitted well, DD sleeps for around 12 hours at night and we had no leaks whatsoever! Only issue I had was some of the sticky tags came off a few of the nappies, but this may be my fault for pulling too hard.

Q2) I found these much better than most brands I've tried, especially the absorbency of them.

Q3) Great value, especially when on offer.

Q4) Yes would definitely recommend them!

MAAmbler · 10/06/2013 19:03

Q1 I liked the new baby-dry nappies as they did as they were supposed to, they kept her dry. But, they are the only nappies we have used so far, that left her with a little bit of a red bottom, nothing major but still more then I would be happy with. I also found them to be quite bulky for my 9 month old, particularly between her legs, so she might be a bit too mobile for them now, as this doesnt happen with her other nappies designed for movement etc.

Q2 The kept her dry and no leaks so thats always a good thing.

Q3 They are a bit pricy, but I always maintain, with things like this, you get what you pay for.

Q4 I would recommend them for younger babies and babies that are not mobile yet.

trinabee · 10/06/2013 19:23

i tried the pampers size 4 on my 15month old son, here are my thoughts-

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes i would use them again, they're the only brand that agree with my son, and they're very absorbant

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
they are the best nappies i've used, huggies/asda brands did nothing but leak when we used them

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
yes i think they're good value, you get what you pay for, good quality nappies

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes, as they're absorbant, cute designs, and not too pricey

mumof1louie · 10/06/2013 19:23

I tested the size 4 nappies on my 8 month old and have nothing but good things to say.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very impressed, will only be using this brand from now on, no leaks, comfortable for my LO.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

These nappies never leak unlike some others i have tried, and lovely on his skin.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Would absolutely recommend these nappies to other mums, knowing hoe comfortable my little one finds these!

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked them. Stretchy and stayed on despite hyperactive toddler, no leaks or problems. Would use again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They were good. I pulled the sticky bit a few times but it didn't come off as some brands rend to snap off . dryness n leakages no problems.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think t Kuhat they're good value for money or not? Why?
Pretty exp so I would only buy on saver deals and sales.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, good for reliability and quality so would say grab a few if on sale.
