How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?
Yes, was easy to work out how much to use, although the packaging made this difficult at times. It has a nice consistency, not to thick or too runny.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
Every day at most nappy changes.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
DD gets a fair bit of soreness with poos, possible due to being addicted to fruit - the redness does seem to have calmed down since using Metanium Everyday. We use the Metanium cream if she has nappy rash, but haven't had to since we have been using Metanium Everyday.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
Use a range, including supermarket own zinc/castor oil and sudocrem, I can't see much difference.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
The metal tube was a pain, the cream kept on coming out, the lid has become messy quite quickly, I find the metal tubes aren't practical for everyday use, keeping in a bag, etc.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
I might, as I like Metainium for when DD has a rash and this seems to do the same job without the staining.

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

Its was easy to use, Partner described constinancy as toothpaste but easy to rub in!

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

Every day once or twice.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

Seems to be doing the job. DDs bum is nice and soft!

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

I use Kamillasan. If DD gets nappy rash I use metanium oitmetn however this means I have to change from cloth to disposable because of stains

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

Nice eye catching

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

Yes as it has all the properties of the oitment in a more user friendly format.

OhBuggerandArse · 07/05/2012 21:38

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

Perfectly easy, fine to rub in.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

Nightly before bed.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

Seems fine - haven't really noticed any difference from usual.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

Either Weleda Calendula cream or a mixture of petroleum jelly with the ordinary yellow Metanium (recommended by a nursery nurse during a hospital stay).

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

Fine - I'm not really a packaging aficionado!

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

I didn't really find anything particularly special about it - seemed perfectly fine and effective, but I think I actually prefer my old mixture of yellow metanium and petroleum jelly - that did keep nappy rash at bay like magic, and I rather liked the smell.

HappyHippyChick · 07/05/2012 21:46

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?
I found the ointment very easy to use, it rubbed in well and it was fairly easy to judge how much to use.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
I aimed to use the ointment after every nappy change as suggested but did forget/not have the cream at changing a couple of times.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
My ds did not get any nappy rash while I was using the cream, even though a couple of times his skin looked red and likely to progress to nappy rash, it didn't. My ds is 3 months - his skin is pretty soft anyway!

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
I use sudocreme usually but only if he has/looks like he's developing NR. I preferred the texture of metanium it was easier to apply and not as gloopy.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
The packaging was fine although a flip top cap would be much easier.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
I would probably recommend it, it is easy to use and as you only use a little so it's a small tube it is much more portable than sudocrem.

MyDogShitsShoes · 07/05/2012 23:50

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

Lovely to use, lovely texture, a little goes a long way.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

At every nappy change for a week.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

No softer than normal but no nappy rash and skin felt just as healthy as usual.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

Normally use Sudocrem. Metanium much nice to use, smelt nicer also didn't need as much. Worked just as well. Results exactly the same.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

Packaging absolutely fine, no issues, tube is small but only needed a very small amount at a time so would still last a while.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

Would definitely recommend. Results exactly the same as Sudocrem but much nicer to use, easier to apply and nicer smell.

Ineedadollar · 08/05/2012 12:36

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?
I used the same amount as I would of the usual metanium, i.e. a very thin layer. OK to rub in.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
Every nappy change for a week.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
I didn't notice any change in softness. My DC rarely has nappy rash but did by the end of the week I had used the cream, i wonder if it didn't let their skin breathe enough.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
I use whatever is on offer generally but mainly leave skin clean and dry with no ointment. Its less smelly and stains less than the other metanium, not as messy as Sudocrem but not as nice smelling as Waitrose bottom butter!

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
I hate the metal tube, please make it a plastic squeeze tube like sudocrem is available in. Purple and white cardboard was attractive, the less cluttered the better.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
I'd recommend giving it a try as all children are different but I wouldn't necessarily say it worked for us. It might depend on the price as to whether i would recommend it.

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

It was easy to use and easy to rub in

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

every day for 3 days or so

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

skin felt the same and the little bit of rash she did have did go

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

metanium cream and sudocream I found it lighter and great for if it looked like nappy rash might develop and catch it in the early phases

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

not really bothered to be honest it looked like nappy cream which i don't buy on looks!

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

yes I would if their child was prone to nappy rash. I recomend metanium treatment cream all the time for nappy rash its a great product if a little yellow!

louiespence · 08/05/2012 21:27

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not? It was easy to use. It rubbed in well and I found it easy to work out how much to use.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment? Every day for 7 days, a couple of times a day

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not? I only usually use a cream when my DS actually has nappy rash, so I think using it as an every day barrier definitely made a difference. He didn't have any soreness at all (although I have no way of knowing whether he would had I not been using it). His bum seemed easier to clean when it came to changing the nappy too.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this? I usually use Sudocrem, but have tried Bepanthen also. I like Metanium probably more than Sudocrem actually, it has a nicer consistency.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way? The packaging was okay, I didn't really take much notice of the box it came in, sorry! I think the tube was okay, could be better could be worse.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
I would definitely suggest to give it a go, if their DC had nappy rash. It seems to have worked for us! Thanks for letting us take part!

alittlebitcountry · 08/05/2012 21:58

How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?
Very easy, didn't need much at all for decent coverage. I liked the texture.

How often and when did you use the ointment?
All changes except while at nursery for the last week.

How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
Pretty good, DD's had some evil doses of nappy rash since Easter and it hasn't come back while we've been using the sample. She was already baby-soft, hasn't really changed.

Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
Sudocrem, I liked the texture of metanium better - seemed lighter, less clingy.

What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way
I liked the shape and size of the tube, it's very convenient for out and about compared to tubs. I wasn't keen on the screw top as it's very easy to lose while toddler-wrestling, a flip top like toothpaste where it stays attached would be better.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not
Yes, depending on the price.

DeliaRose · 09/05/2012 13:44

How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

Easy to use, easy to rub in, easy to work out how much to use.

How often and when did you use the ointment?

I used it before bedtime, as DS is 11mo day time nappy changes are a challenge without adding cream to the routine!

How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

He didn't get any nappy rash, but rarely does anyway, I didn't notice a difference in his skin.

Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

Neals Yard. I prefer Neals Yard. The packing is better, as is the consistency of the cream, IMO.

What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

I didn't like the packing. It was too 'clinical' looking. I also didn't like the tube, I find that that sort of tube usually splits when theres not a lot of product left. Also, the lid was too small and fiddly (and possibly a choking hazard?). I would've preferred a flip top and a plastic tube, or a little glass pot, like Neals Yard, with the advantage to a pot being that you can control exactly how much product you get out, unlike tubes.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

No. I wasn't keen on the packaging, and the product had a 'chalky' feel to it that I didn't like.

DeliaRose · 09/05/2012 13:45

Forgot to add - Thanks for letting me try it out Smile

yoyomummy · 09/05/2012 15:48

I used bepanthen before, sporadically. I used the Metanium at every change as suggested for the trial. I have been using it for just over a week now.

I think it has been effective as my DS (18 mths) has not had nappy rash as often since I started the trial. I don't know if his skin is softer - it was already beautifully soft before!

As mentioned above I used Bepanthen before. I prefer the smell of the Bepanthen - this smells more "medical" but I'm not using it for a nice smell so that is not important. The texture is good, easy to spread on quickly - important with a kicking toddler!
Packaging is fine.
Yes I would recommend it. Effective and easy to use.

herecomesthsun · 09/05/2012 18:43

-How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

I found it easy to use. I didn't rub it in completely, it has quite a thck consistency. The comment about using a pea sized amount was very helpful.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
variable. I think I will be using it most at night as my daughter's nappy is liable to be changed less frequently then, so a barrier cream to deter redness would be most useful then.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
Her skin was less red. She is not liable to nappy rash.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
I wasn't using a cream when I received the ointment. I used sudocream at first with my son but much preferred metanium, if I were to use an ointment.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
I thought the packaging was appropriate. I don't think I would normally be influenced much by this in choosing a barrier cream.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not? I would say that it might be helpful if they wanted to use a barrier cream (but my daughter has not had much problem with nappy rash so it hasn't been a particular issue for me)

TantieTowie · 09/05/2012 22:33

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

I found the ointment sat on the skin, much like Metanium for nappy rash does. That's fine - and with the yellow cream you get the sense it's doing something - but when you have a wriggly 14 month old it can go everywhere unless you get the nappy on sharpish.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

Didn't use it immediately because DD had nappy rash but once it had gone I started using it at every nappy change.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

I think using the cream has helped to prevent the nappy rash she had before coming back.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

Used Bepanthen - that was similarly effective but did rub in more.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

It reminded me of the packaging for full strength Metanium but less colourful.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

Yes, I would because it does seem to have had an effect in preventing a recurrence of nappy rash.

Triggles · 09/05/2012 22:55

The ointment was easy to use and to rub in. Easy to work out how much to use as well.

It's been used every day, generally at each nappy change, since we got it.

DS2 actually had some mild nappy rash when we first started using it, and it cleared up rapidly. I don't think it really seems to make his skin softer, but it certainly does seem to be helping to prevent nappy rash. He has eczema and is prone to rashes, and it has been an improvement.

We used Sudocreme prior to this. I think the Metanium is less greasy compared to Sudocreme and seems to be better at prevention of rashes. It also doesn't seem (thankfully) to have as strong a smell.

I think the packaging was fairly standard, but I prefer a small tub, rather than a tube. Tubes get squeezed accidently (especially when grabbed by a 2yo!) and tubs are just a bit sturdier.

We would recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents. Why? Well, if it came up in conversation, and you knew of (and used) a product that works well and you're happy with, why WOULDN'T you recommend it?

Thank you for the opportunity to test this cream. We will be continuing to use it.

BlastOff · 09/05/2012 23:20

Argh I want to fill this in but Ds has had nappy rash almost continuously since we got the sample and so have been using other things (as its an every day cream). I did use it the first day so I'll try my best.

Easy to use, very easy to rub in, and nice 'texture'. Obvious how much to use, and I think that a little obviously goes a long way, which is great.

We use a mixture of bepanthan, metanium, and sudocrem, because we find that changing often helps when Ds has nappy rash. It is easier to rub in and less smelly than the other products!

Packaging was not gimmicky which attracts me, but was so plain I might not notice it on a shelf to be honest.

I don't know if I'd recommend it yet, but I will be back to report when we are free of nappy rash!

How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

The ointment was very easy to use. It was much easier to rub in than our usual cream. Initially I had to adapt to how much I should use as am used to putting on a lot more cream than was required with this ointment.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
We used the ointment on a daily basis - probably on every other nappy change as we normally apply our existing nappy cream.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
The ointment was very effective at preventing nappy rash and our DD's skin was noticeably softer after using the cream.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
We usually use Sudocrem as a barrier product. We have also used Bepanthan when we have been away.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
The packaging is functional. The colouring of the tube is distinctive enough that it doesn't get mixed up with the treatment cream. Much easier to use out and about in a tube, rather than carrying around a tube. It also is easier to stop our DD putting her hand in the cream during a busy nappy change.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
Yes I would recommend Metanium Everyday cream to other parents.

RunningKatie · 10/05/2012 19:23

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?
This was easy to use and rub in.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
We used it after nappy changes at home, I didn't tend to take it out with me.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
DD has (mild) eczema and I'm paranoid about products irritating her skin but this left it lovely and soft, and she didn't experience nappy rash whilst we've been using it.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
We use a mixture of Bepanthen and Sudocrem, depending on where we are - the Sudocrem pot lives in the change bag etc.
The Metanium compared very well to these.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
DD loved the box with the baby on it, she was vastly amused by it during nappy changes which is marvellous as she's going through a very wriggly stage.
However, like a lot of others have said, I see the metal tube as a major drawback, things get mangled up in the change bag and it's the kind of tube i can see splitting and causing chaos.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
I don't see why not. I don't find the name trips off the tongue though, I keep wanting to call it Melatinum.

nancerama · 10/05/2012 19:25

A quick update on my post of last week. I am still using the Metanium Everyday, every day and am liking it more and more.

A little goes a long way - this tube may well last forever, and we have had no hint of nappy rash or redness. I would definitely buy again and would recommend to anyone.

I still think the tube needs a redesign though!

RueDeWakening · 10/05/2012 22:45

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

I found it greasy, and difficult to rub in/get a thin layer applied. Easy enough to work out how much to use, I just followed the intstructions on the packet and went with a pea sized blob.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

I used it for a few days, but have reverted to no cream for now. We use cloth nappies and I was noticing a decrease in the absorbancy of them, which I assume is the cream residue left on the fabric - it's common with barrier creams so wasn't really a surprise.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

DS's skin didn't seem any softer, but then I don't often examine his bum in too much detail, he has a tendancy to wee at inappropriate moments so I don't like to get too close :o The cream seemed OK at preventing rash, at least I saw no signs of it when I used it.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

I used a combination of metanium (the yellow one), sudocrem or bepanthen as and when necessary, but not very often all things considered.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

I liked the packaging, although a flip top lid on the tube would be useful. I can see this living in the changing bag, as the lid won't come off and get cream all over the inside of it (yes, sudocrem, I'm looking at you...). The box was fairly discrete though and I wonder how easy it would be to spot on a shelf full of similar products.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

I would recommend it I think, I really rate the yellow metanium and can see that this one would work well for those who use disposable nappies. I liked the tube, it was convenient although a bit fiddly to get the lid off while fighting a toddler who doesn't want his nappy changed...

Northernexile · 11/05/2012 08:27

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

The ointment was easy to use, the consistency is nice and rubbed in to DD's skin easily. The box suggests using a pea-sized blob, so that's what I did, but I actually felt this was more than was required and left too thick a layer, so I subsequently used less. I imagine the tube would last us a couple of months, even with regular usage.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

At most - but not all - nappy changes.

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

DD has only had nappy rash a couple of times before. She hasn't had it since using Metanium, so it seems to be doing the job well. I haven't seen any particular change in the softness of her skin, but it is always pretty soft anyway.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

We have only ever used Sudocrem before (thank you Bounty and your sample pots!), I slap a bit on now and again and then used it intensively for a day or two to clear up nappy rash. Metanium Everyday is good, but as DD doesn't seem too prone to nappy rash I don't know whether it is worth us purchasing an 'everyday' product as well as having to have a product to clear up rash when it appears iyswim. Sudocrem does both jobs for us really. If DD was more prone to nappy rash I would probably think differently though.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

The packaging is fine, as other posters have said a flip-top lid on the tube would be handier than a screw cap when handling a squirming baby!

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

Yes, if someone had a child that was regularly suffering from nappy rash I would suggest that they try Metanium Everyday.

Thank you for letting us test Metanium out, and sorry it took so long to add my comments!

Haribolicious · 11/05/2012 10:11

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?

Found the cream very easy to use and work out how much....easy to rub in too and texture was good

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?

After every change this week (5 days)

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?

I don't think his skin felt any softer than usual

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?

I'm another Sudocrem user but try not to use unless my son has a rash. I also like bepanthen or the other metanium cream if he is very bad. My concern is that it's quite a small tube especially if this is meant to be for every change! This also makes me think that it will be much more expensive than Sudocrem. Bepanthen is expensive as is the other Metanium cream (for similar sized tube) but as I only use these in extreme cases of severe nappy rash, I don't mind paying the extra as I know they work. As a prevention cream, I'm not so sure I'd use as I like to limit the lotions and potions when my son is ok.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?

I think a larger tube with a flip top lid would be useful and a plastic tube too as you always get the problem when you roll down the tube to get to the last bits and holes appear so it just squirts out everywhere! The outer packaging didn't stand out as an everyday barrier cream.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Matanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?

I would definitely mention that I'd tested it and found it a good cream but I don't think I'd go so far as to recommend it and I doubt I'll use it again in the future. I just don't feel that it would be very good value as an everyday cream

I found the tube to be a bit of a pain. It is hard to get the lid off and get only what you need one handed. The cream itself was fine. We used it most nappy changes and da skin stayed nice and smooth. We usually use sudocrem and to be honest they both seem as good as each other.

~ How easy or difficult did you find the ointment to use? Was it easy to rub in or not? Was it easy to work out how much you should use or not?
Pleasant to use, didn't think too much about how much to use, just what looked right.

~ How often and when did you use the ointment?
For every nappy change over a weekend

~ How effective (or not) do you think the ointment was at preventing nappy rash? Did your DC's skin feel any softer after using the ointment or not?
I'm not sure, I stopped using it when my daughter had a couple of nasty nappies (I think she's teething) and she developed nappy rash and I reached for the normal metanium, which always sorts it out quickly. I think before that it was doing a good job as an everyday, just couldn't cope with 'problem' nappies'.

~ Which, if any, barrier product did you use before? How did Metanium Everyday ointment compare to this?
I don't use an everyday barrier product. I switch between sudacrem if her bottom is just a bit red, to normal Metanium when it's suddenly raw.

~ What did you think about the packaging? Do you think it could be improved in any way?
The packaging was fine. Reminded me of bepanthen, but only because it's a white tube, whereas metanium is yellow and sudacrem is a grey tub. I was surprised it didn't use the yellow from the normal tubes anywhere, as I think that's a strong part of the brand.

~ If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Metanium Everyday to other parents? If so why, if not why not?
If they were asking for ideas, I'd tell them there was a new product, but I haven't continued to use it (just don't think to have it to hand when I set up for a nappy change) so couldn't exactly recommend it.
