NOW CLOSED: Fancy trying a Wii and taking part in the MN "My First Wii Challenge"?

We have another exciting product test for you - we are looking for 40 Mumsnetters who don't already have a Wii at home but would like to take part in "My First Wii Challenge" with Nintendo.

Nintendo say they "are keen to offer Wiis to 40 MN families to encourage them to spend fun time together as a family as well as give them the opportunity to test out some great games". If you already have a Wii, please look out for the feedback thread for this project as Nintendo would like to hear your views too (in exchange for a prize draw ).

If you are selected for the test you'll be sent a Wii console, handsets and nunchucks for all the family plus the following games:

uDraw GameTablet with uDraw Studio
Mario Kart
Kirby's Epic Yarn, and
Just Dance Jnrs

We'd then like you to take part in 4 weekly challenges with the Wii. This will involve playing with one game per week and adding your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet.

The challenge will start week commencing 4 July and last for 4 weeks - so please only apply if you are able to add feedback every week in July.

Ideally we're looking for MNers in the UK with at least 2 children.

After the challenge is completed and you have added at least 4 lots of feedback you will be able to keep the console and games for your family to enjoy.

In addition, we will need 10 of the families selected to film themselves and their family playing with the Wii. These videos will be used on the Nintendo pages on Mumsnet in the autumn and possibly elsewhere (they will be hosted on YouTube). If you are willing to undertake the video element please indicate this on the form link below. You will be supplied with a FlipCam (which will need to be returned). You will be briefed on filming requirements but it shouldn't be too onerous.

poor ds1 has a poorly foot and is all bandaged up! It would have been lovely to have the extra controller today.......

Still no delivery here but we are OK, children aren't that bothered about extra controller or dance game. and it's lovely weather so they are outside a lot anyway.

Same for us Fennel no controller but lovely weather so we have been outside.

Not had a controller here either, fortunately the weather has been good enough to chuck them all in the garden!

I'm away on holiday early hours of Monday morning, back on the 15th.

Just wanted to say we're going on holiday tomorrow for a week so won't be able to do any official feedback but we have played all the games so can add some when we're back.

Adair did you get more than one controller in the post? Just wondering as you said more controllers today.

I only got one extra, but was hoping we would get more as there are three of us here to play the wii.

We received the red control with the wii motion plus, one blue control, one nun chuck, Dance Jnrs and Doods Big Adventures!

Extra parcel here too with nunchuck, blue controller and Dood's Big Adventure game. Do you think they've read that we don't think much of the uDraw so far and are trying to change our minds with bribes ?

DId someone also say they got a pink controller?

Post not been yet. Hope we get a blue contoller too!

I think someone said they persuaded their DD a red controller was pink.

I think the DC's interest in the Wii has been rekindled . Which is excellent timing as it is drizzling, the boys can't play in their bedroom as DH is redecorating it and DD can't play in hers as all of the boys' furniture is in there while theirs is being painted!

They are currently canoeing on WiiSportsResort. I'm They are hoping to try Dance Juniors later.

Oh my goodness I have a dd very excited here as another controller arrived this morning and it's PINK!!!!!

We also got another game for the udraw

We now have three controllers in total and two nunchucks.

Me and DD are having a go at Kirby's Epic Yarn! They're all off out soon, can see me playing it all day!

DS1 and DS2 are now runing all the songs from my youth playing Dance Jrs.

Don't think there's going to be anything here as Saturday post normally here by now. But sure blue controller will come at some point. And seeing as there is only me here I can only really use one at once.

have been playing the Wii Play motion games. Have been bouncing about on a trampoline getting gems which is quite amusing

Erm, the postman just knocked on the door, with a parcel bearing the Nintento sticker . Might be nice and leave it for the children to open, although they're not back until Thursday.
