Just thought I'd better start a new thread for those of you who would like to see updates before the old one is totally full.

All still good here! I've been a bit low on iron but the tablets REALLY don't agree with me. So I've started just taking one in the morning with orange juice, and having a spoonful of Floridix in the afternoon and making an effort to eat spinach and red meat.
I've been feeling baby OMG moving around a lot more now he's getting bigger and stronger, which is lovely although slightly alarming at times!

We've probably got a maximum of 7 weeks to go now as I understand the drs are not keen for older mums to go much over 39 weeks. Eeeek.
Will keep you all posted.

If you can't deal with the iron tablets, try dried apricots. That's what the prescribed for me after having my twins as I needed to keep my iron levels up. They can make you a bit windy if you have too many, but you're pregnant so anything goes really. And they are jampacked with iron.

So happy to see a second thread. I hope you’re keeping well 😊

Omgwhatthehell · 10/06/2022 19:41

@Babyghirl I’m wishing you loads of good luck!
It sounds like you are being well looked after.
I have found the NHS antenatal care really good.

Lovely thread!

PinkPanther50 · 10/06/2022 19:59

Awh glad I found this thread, I remember the original one. Baby Boy has an awful lot of ‘Aunty MN’s’ 😄 When I took iron tablets I found taking them at night with orange juice had the least side effects. Looking forward to the updates

Mylittlepea · 10/06/2022 19:59

Fabulous thread, thank you for sharing your journey😍

When I was pregnant I was desperately low in iron and couldn’t tolerate iron tablets I took a daily sachet of this www.spatone.com/en-gb/ - great stuff. I am the proud mum of 2 IVF/ICSI babies so I love to hear a miracle story.

best wishes xxx

@Omgwhatthehell

i followed your original thread, then lost it. When I saw this thread today I had my heart in my mouth as it sounded like you'd just found out. I'm SO thrilled to hear DS is still safely tucked up!!

10 years ago my friend was breech and she read loads of stuff about how to get them to turn, we had some fun evenings trying to get her into the correct positions (her DH is still as useless and unsupportive now as he was then)

so glad to have 'found' you sgain!!

ThisIsGroundControl · 10/06/2022 20:35

Congratulations 💐 💐
