Disclaimer - I love animals and im fascinated by them! But truly some have an aura of menace about them...
To start, I give you the Shoebill Stork. Not dangerous or anything but...disconcerting.

The clown crab spider looks crocheted !!

Has anybody said goblin shark yet? Rare species of deep sea shark. You really need a video. Their jaw elongates rapidly to catch prey, and looks like it's coming out of the mouth.

Chinese crested dogs are really hideous, poor creatures.

Phantom midge larvae. Clear worms with 2 black dots that hover in the water. Then before they transform into midges they look like little demons......

This guy - my very own pet pleco, Scuffler.

He's a gentle giant and I love him, but he freaks me out. I have woken up, screaming, from dreaming he is under my bed.

When I bought him, about 15 years ago, he was tiny. Now he is a foot and a half long and I had to buy a massive tank for him!

Why do animals have to be see through, it's just not right.

@Diddumz my son had a plec called Mr Cuddles. Boy did he grow. We eventually rehomed him where he had a tank of his own to get even more big and cuddly. Your chap is very handsome
