Disclaimer - I love animals and im fascinated by them! But truly some have an aura of menace about them...
To start, I give you the Shoebill Stork. Not dangerous or anything but...disconcerting.



Snakes swimming. I cannot bear the thought of them.

Harpy Eagles. What are they plotting?

Imagine being alone in the woods and looking up to see that staring at you!

I don't find them creepy, but I find them a bit unsettling. These monkeys who look like humans who've been cursed by a witch to spend the rest of their life in animal form.

Owls are beautiful, but baby barn owls are a bit argh. Especially when you’re not expecting them, and they happen to look exactly like tiny, creepy aliens.

If I saw a Murder Hornet it just might be the end of me. They have been in the media here quite a bit as some have been found. Horrible, scary things.
