There is a lipstick going around in the washing machine that isn't mine.

100% certain dh is not having an affair so who does the lipstick belong to and how on earth will I get it out of the washing as the lid has come off (presumably in the machine) and I'm guessing it will be all over it now. Luckily it was a dark wash. I've stopped the washing machine and put it on drain.

Just be thankful it wasn't a snake or something like that (an alligator, considering the thread).

halloweenzombie · 29/12/2017 22:39

Noooo this cannot be done!! I've had a small lump on my scalp about 20 years now! Thinking of prodding it a bit Xmas Blush

KakunaRattata · 29/12/2017 23:01

halloween you need to video it as you do. We're all relying on live sporn!

AmaraSas · 29/12/2017 23:02

The rodent hand from the washing machine.... think it might be a hedgehogs!

Ollivander84 · 29/12/2017 23:43

My cat had "cat flu". After several courses of antibiotics, the vet suggested a scope in case there was a pocket of infection
She rang me to say he was awake and didn't have cat flu. Obviously I was slightly bemused and asked if they found anything at all
"Oh yes. He had a tooth embedded so far in his nose it had created a hole"
Tooth was removed and the "cat flu" with constant snot and sneezing vanished. She said she was amazed he wasn't either aggressive (pain like sinusitis) or dead from infection

BattleCuntGalactica · 29/12/2017 23:51

@halloweenzombie I IMPLORE you to film that pleaaaaase.

Foxylass · 30/12/2017 00:55

GladGran
Many pages back I mentioned finding '5 runes in mine' and Straycatblue asked "in what?"

They were in my washing machine. (Following the theme of the OP)

When I was younger, had a pet skunk. Yes, she was de-scented and very nice. One evening my ear tickled to distraction, begged my DH to take a flashlight and see what was there. He kept pulling and pulling, accused me of putting something in there on purpose, as it didn't seem possible accidentally! Was a VERY long, VERY stiff and wiry tail hair from said skunk. I must have laid my head down on it and it went in without my knowing.

Weedsnseeds. I remember working on an ENT ward as a student nurse and absolutely loving removing the nasal packing post surgery. It amazed me just how much the surgeon managed to get up there. There was yards of the stuff. You felt like you were never going to stop pulling at it. Grin

I always feel a bit sad about this woman who had a toilet brush handle embedded in her bottom for two years and it took her two years to convince the doctors it was there, killed her in the end as well.

One, not a sporner, but it belongs in this thread. I've just found two pieces of chocolate, as if from a chocolate egg, by the front door, on the inside. As far as I know we didn't have chocolate eggs, although we did have chocolate (Belgian sea shells type and truffles, and chocolate sticks). Also, I've only noticed them today, and I walk past the front door several times a day.

Second, maybe related to the sporner side. A few months ago I got my hand covered in tiny cactus spines. I thought I got them all out but now I have tiny pimples on the side of my ring finger and I wonder if it's left over spines making their way out.

A treasured memory for me is, aged about 10, sneezing out a hard snot-encrusted piece of my brother's nappy that I shoved up my nose as a three year-old. Cannot express how amazing that was. Cannot explain why it was so amazing, either. I remember my mum trying to get it out with tweezers at the time of the shoving, but she obviously gave up!

Foxylass · 30/12/2017 10:12

@Lweji- thank you

TWINS77 · 01/01/2018 20:25

I woke up one morning, feeling totally congested, blew my nose just to see all the pieces of a cockroach in the tissue Confused l must have squashed him in my sleep (thank God, as he might have been coming out of my ears in few years time - judging by this thread) l slept covered from head to toe with a sheet tucked under me until l moved out 🤬

bananafish81 · 01/01/2018 20:43

When I was a small child I remember going to the loo, pulling down my knickers and seeing a small beetle like creature nestled in the gusset

I of course screamed bloody murder, Mum came running into the bathroom at warp speed

She reckoned it was an earwig. No idea if it was or not, it was grim as fuck whatever it was. No bloody idea how it got in, doesn't even bear thinking about

I always check the gusset of my knickers before I put them on

Well I just read that in one go.

I need to go and bleach my eyes now.

SydBound27 · 02/01/2018 04:13

I had a belly ring for a few years and had to take it out 15 years ago due to surgery. I've had a hole there ever since, and every now and then I gleefully squeeze out a little worm of smelly gunk that's built up over time.. so satisfying..

picklemepopcorn · 02/01/2018 10:33

I'm going to take a wild guess at peritonitis. But is is a truly random guess...

BattleCuntGalactica · 02/01/2018 10:41

Hydatid cysts - those ones are specifically in the liver. They can also be present in the brain.
