There is a lipstick going around in the washing machine that isn't mine.

100% certain dh is not having an affair so who does the lipstick belong to and how on earth will I get it out of the washing as the lid has come off (presumably in the machine) and I'm guessing it will be all over it now. Luckily it was a dark wash. I've stopped the washing machine and put it on drain.

My mum's story.
She was living in sheltered accommodation and one of the highlights of her life was the monthly visit from the chiropodist.
I called in to see her one day and she passed me an envelope and said, look inside
I found a sewing needle, one of the big ones, nearly as long as my little finger.
I was looking bemused so she told me that the chiropodist had said she could feel a lump at the side of her big toenail, did some investigating and pulled out this long needle!
Mam had been unable to sew for quite a few years, as she had arthritis in her hands so the needle must have been in her foot for ages
She was very proud of it and the story was told to all her visitors
When she died I found the envelope in her bedside drawer
It's in my drawer now, with Needle from Toe in my Mam's handwriting

I'm too scared to watch the video in case it involves pus or maggots. Blood or ear wax are ok...

PasstheStarmix · 29/12/2017 09:00

Fishfingersandwichnocheese I was eating and then sneezed at the same time and that's when the uncomfortable situ occurred Shock

PasstheStarmix · 29/12/2017 09:01

They were fully formed as well....yuk

mullmepopcorn · 29/12/2017 09:01

Demented, it's earwax but there is some white dead skin going on. No oozing, though.

I bet Dr KK must have shouted in triumph each time he got one of those lumps out.

BattleCuntGalactica · 29/12/2017 09:06

If it's a disgusting body related ooze horror, I can find it and post it. proudface

Last heavy cold i had i managed to blow a bloody tissuey lump out of my right nostril. Was told it was probably a nasal polyp. Know my nose didnt feel as stuffed afterwards. It was gross, but needed close inspection as i had never seen one before (dont care if i never see one again)

PaddingtonBearHardSprouts · 29/12/2017 11:19

I went to see Nurse at GP yesterday as I've been having problems with my hearing. I had high hopes of updating this thread. Do you know what she found???

Nothing!!

No graph paper, no mushrooms, no small children. Not even any wax

I came away very disappointed with an appt to see GP next week for an ENT referral.

I've let everyone down, I've left myself down and I've let the thread down.

2ManyChoices · 29/12/2017 14:24

I found a chunk of a pint glass under a skin covered lump on my leg. I still have the glass and the scars, where it went in, and 12 years later, came out!!!

Foxylass · 29/12/2017 14:42

Straycatblue in my washing machine 😁

Getoffthetableplease · 29/12/2017 15:38

After reading this and seeing the photo I've discovered our bald belly ex racer didn't have a patch of stubble after all - it's spiky tiny hard thorns Shock!!

Weedsnseeds1 · 29/12/2017 17:22

For many years I had black dots in my left arm following a poorly judged sea urchin throwing incident in the mid-seventies. They worked their way out, one by one, over a period of about 20 years.
I also had a sinus operation which involved extraordinary quantities of gauze ribbon being packed up my nose. Obviously I knew it was up there, but watching it being extracted, yard after yard, post-operatively remains a treasured childhood memory

ProseccoMamam · 29/12/2017 18:00

Oh yes as a hairdresser I can vouch that you have other people's hair grow from your body. I have had lots on my arms (all over), chest and one really long and curly ginger hair grow from my hip! The woman with the ginger hair was my client around 2 months before I found her hair growing from my hip, it was very weird shower experience and they kinda sting when you pull them out almost as if they're being grown from your actual body.

Mustang27 · 29/12/2017 19:11

@Weedsnseeds1 Iv had that done 3 times and each time Iv vomited and bled loads it's not treasured at all for me but Christ it's scary how much they can pack up there isn't it?

lolamaiM · 29/12/2017 20:14

Lana, what happened?

GladGran · 29/12/2017 20:48

FoxyLass: What?

GladGran · 29/12/2017 21:18

If it helps, I went to use the loo at the back of our garage in our new-to-us (1930s) house and found a frog about the size of my thumbnail in the water - very much alive when I had fished it out. Had it come up the pipes, down the pipes, or how?

GladGran · 29/12/2017 21:20

My then 7 years-old DD never used that loo again in all the 26 years we lived there!
